Pillow Fights and Tickle Wars (Maliya)

As the rain pours and all the city could do was be trapped indoors, some people decided to sleep in with the people they loved, some decided to sit back and enjoy a good book and coffee. And some decided to sing to the rhythm of the rain.

"I'm jealous of the rain," Liya stares out of her window and smiles between lyrics, tracing the water droplets from the inside, "that falls upon your skin~"

"THAT'S THE FIFTH ONE TODAY," she hears from the room next to hers, "SOME OF US LIKE TO SLEEP."

Liya giggles, "ELEVEN AM IS NOT A TIME TO BE SLEEPING, SQUIDWARD. THE WEATHER IS AMAZING, GET UP." She hears a groan and giggles again.

"As much as I love your voice, babe," Liya turns to see Maha standing by the doorway, arms crossed, "you gotta help me clean this room."

She whines, "Mahaaaa, look at the weatherrrr. It's so pretty outsiiide. It deserves much sinnngs."

Maha purses her lips and pulls Liya out of the chair. "Nice grammar you got there," she drops her on the floor.

~It's closer than my hands have been, I'm jealous of the rain~

Liya whines some more and starts picking up her clothes which littered the floor like a pile of dead bodies (get off my case, FBI, I needed a good analogy). She tossed them lazily into the laundry basket, occasionally dabbing and exclaiming "BALLS, BITCH" when she got them in.

Maha busied herself in rearranging their closet, which was also littered with clothes. Liya soon finished quick and flops back onto the bed, watching Maha's back as she organized their clothes. Being bored, an idea pops into her head and she smirks, reaching behind her to grab a white, fluffy pillow.

She slowly sneaks up behind Maha and taps her shoulder.

"Liya, I'm busy," she doesn't even turn around.

Pouting, Liya pokes her.

Finally, Maha whips around. "What-"

~I'm jealous of the wind~

She gets smacked with the white, fluffy pillow. Liya starts laughing and walks backward as she sees the look on Maha's face. The little smile they have when they have been tricked and they're done. She turns to Liya, slowly walking towards her.

"Come here," she beckons to Liya with her hand, the latter laughing nervously, shaking her head and continuously saying, "no."

"Come here, Liya." Liya shakes her head and breaks into a run, laughing. Maha starts running after her and they both play a game of Tom and Jerry in the bedroom, jumping over the bed, chairs, and tables. Maha finally grabs onto Liya's shirt as she's jumping off the bed and yanks her back.

~That ripples through your clothes~

Maha grabs a pillow and starts smacking the shit out of a still laughing Liya, until she gets hit from the side with another pillow. She feels Liya straddle her hips and looks up, seeing her smirking with the pillow in hand. Liya raises her arms to continue the pillow fight, but Maha flips them over so she's on top.

Liya squeaks, caught off guard,  and Maha snatches the pillow away from her and tosses it across the room. "No, no, no, no," Liya tries getting away as she see's the evil glint in Maha's eyes, but to no avail as she starts squealing when Maha attacks her sides.

"I'm sorry, I won't-" Liya chokes out between laughs, "Don't-"

Maha doesn't show any mercy as she smirks and holds Liya down while still tickling her. Tears start falling from Liya's eyes as she screams and gasps, but Maha still keeps going.

"WHO'S GETTING RAPED IN THERE?" a worried Maoam yells from outside the door.

"DADDY HELP," Liya manages between shrieks.

"UHH, YOUR MOTHER IS CALLING ME, I GOTTA GO, GOOD LUCK, SWEETIE."

After a while, the tickles stop and Liya closes her eyes to calm down and catch her breath. She then notices something. Maha is still on her hips. And she isn't moving or making a sound.

~It's closer than your shadow. Oh, I'm jealous of the wind~

Slowly, Liya opens her eyes and looks up innocently into Maha's eyes which are just watching her, just a few inches away from her face. Maha's arms are holding her up on each side of Liya.

Is it just me, or is the gap magically disappearing?  Liya questions to herself.

The gap, in fact, was disappearing. And it resulted in both their lips meeting in a slow kiss. Liya tangles her fingers in Maha's long hair, which was going to be a pain for Maha to brush out, but they didn't care.

Maha's tongue slipped past Liya's lips and their tongues danced, seemingly to the song Liya was singing earlier. Which she sang the melody of the rain.

Their heartbeats were so close, yet so far, choosing to be ignored. Or maybe it was because they blended in with the rhythm of the rain hitting their windows.

~'Cause I wished you the best of all this world could give~

Liya sits up, breaking away momentarily to pull of her shirt and reconnects her lips to Maha's

The rhythm of the rain hitting their windows.

The rhythm of the rain hitting their windows.

The rhythm of the rain hitting their windows.

Liya's eyes open, only to be met by darkness. The only warmth she could feel was her comforter, the only light was the streetlamp shining through her window from behind the curtain. However, one thing remained the same.

~And I told you, when you left me, there's nothing to forgive~

The one thing that reminded her of that day was the rain pouring, where all the city could do was to be trapped indoors. Which she once sang to the rhythm of.
