Caroline sat on the couch in the middle of Salvatore boarding house's parlor. Faye stood in front of the fireplace, her arms crossed over her chest at what she had heard. Damon handed Caroline a glass of blood, "Here."

Caroline shuddered, "I'm still shaking."

Stefan walked in to the room and frowned, "What happened?"

"Go ahead, tell him." Faye said, nodding towards Stefan, "You're gonna love this."

Caroline sighed, "I saw Katherine today."

"Where?" Stefan asked with a frown.

"At the grill. I just stopped by to gawk and... quasi-stalk Matt." Caroline told him.

Damon rolled his eyes, "Skip the teen drama and get to it."

"Then I had to pretend to use the bathroom even though I didn't really have to go because I'm a doofus." Caroline continued, "And then Katherine was there. I knew it wasn't Elena since she was at home. Katherine wanted me to deliver a message."

"What was the message?" Stefan questioned.

"She wants the moonstone or she will rip this town apart until it rains blood." Caroline

answered.

Damon sighed, "Tell him the rest of it."

"Tonight, at the masquerade ball."

"She wants to do it in public. Killing Mason threw her off guard." Stefan ran a hand through his hair.

"She's running scared." Damon said, "What she did to Jenna was desperate. She's out of tricks."

Stefan shook his head, "We can't underestimate her. We have to play this smarter than her."

"Can we just give her the moonstone so she'll leave?" Caroline asked.

"No, Katherine's not getting dick." Faye growled, "I've had it. I'm gonna go to the masquerade ball and I'm gonna kill her, tonight."

"I second that." Damon said, high fiving Faye.

"You're not gonna kill her." Stefan told them.

Damon groaned, "Don't give me that goody-goody crap."

"You're not gonna kill her."

Faye quirked an eyebrow, "Really?"

"Because I am."

Faye clapped, surprised, "Welcome to Team Badass, Stef."

Faye answered the door when it was knocked on. Bonnie stood on the other side of it, holding her grimoire. Faye smiled, "Hey, come on in."

"I got Stefan's message." Bonnie told her.

Stefan arrived behind Faye and gave Bonnie a smile, "Hey, you brought the grimoire, thank you."

They both lead her to where everyone was. Bonnie frowned when she saw Damon and Alaric talking in front of the table full of weapons. She looked over at Stefan, "What's going on?"

Jeremy entered the room and answered, "We're gonna kill Katherine."

"I can explain." Stefan told her, seeing the look he was getting.

"Please."

A grin grew across Faye's face as she stepped forward, "We're gonna kill Katherine."

Alaric held up a weapon towards Faye, continuing the conversation from earlier, "This works with compressed air. The trigger mechanism is up here. I have two of these in a different size." He then held up a sleeve to show Faye and Damon, "For you I recommend this. It fits nicely under the jacket sleeve. You use the trigger when you're ready." He pretended to stab a vampire in the stomach, catching the stakes in his hand when they shot out. Damon and Stefan looked at each other, "You wanted me to show you how to kill a vampire."

Faye got up excitedly and took the weapon from Alaric, "Okay! My turn! My turn!"

"Fay-"

Faye threw her fist forward in to Damon's stomach, shooting him with the stakes. He groaned, doubling over in pain. Jeremy couldn't hold in his laughter and neither could Alaric. Bonnie snorted while Stefan watched in amusement.

"Why the hell did you do that?" Damon asked her as he ripped out the stakes.

"For what you did with the wolfsbane to me the other day." She stroked her cheek, "It took forever to heal."

Damon threw the stakes at her but she caught them and handed them back to Alaric. Alaric sighed, wondering how he ever became friends with these two.

Bonnie talked with Stefan in private about the plan.

"I know you love Elena and you want to be with her but it's risky. Too many people could get hurt." Bonnie said to him.

Stefan sighed softly, "Look, I want Elena back, yes but it's more than that. What Katherine did to Jenna it crossed the line. She has to be stopped before it happens again."

"I don't know, Stefan." Bonnie replied, not having a good feeling about the plan.

"Katherine knows me, right?" Bonnie nodded, "She knows that I'm not gonna try something in a crowd full of innocent people so that gives me an edge. I could catch her by surprise."

Bonnie gained an idea, "I could do a spell to trap her, like the tomb spell."

"Right. We can isolate her, away from the others. Please Bonnie." Stefan pleaded.

It took a moment but Bonnie finally agreed, "Okay."

Everyone regrouped in the parlor room, going over the plan once more. Faye, Stefan, and Damon were going to do the killing since they seemed to be the only ones who wanted to do it. Plus, they were all strong enough to do it. Jeremy was the distraction and Caroline was going to trick Katherine in to the trap.

"Are you sure you guys don't want me there tonight?" Alaric asked them.

Stefan shook his head, "No, I need you to stay with Elena. I don't want her to know about this."

"Okay. Well, I'll make sure she doesn't leave my sight." Alaric replied, attempting to ease Stefan's thoughts.

Stefan then stood tall in the middle of the room, facing everyone, "Alright, if anybody wants to back out, I'll understand."

"Yeah. Cold feet speak now. I don't want this going wrong if someone chicken's out." Damon looked directly at the person that came to his mind first, "Caroline."

Caroline shook her head, "I won't. Look, she killed me. Fair's fair. As long as there's no werewolf running around that's not Faye."

"Oh, I took care of Mason." Damon assured her.

"As long as Tyler doesn't kill anyone, he won't turn." Jeremy then interjected.

Stefan then looked at the witch, "Bonnie? Are you with us?"

There was a long pause before she finally answered, "But no one gets hurt."

"Except Katherine." Damon said smugly, "Tonight Katherine gets a stake through her heart."

He then looked over at Faye, "You still up for this?"

She flashed her fangs, showing off her vampire face, "Do you even have to ask?"

Faye walked out in to the backyard of the Lockwood mansion with Damon and Stefan on both of her arms. A gold laser cut mask that was decorated with rhinestones covered her face as a dark blue, knee length dress covered her body. She was instantly the best dressed person there.

"Do you see her?" Damon asked Faye and Stefan.

Faye looked around, "Nope."

Stefan looked at his older brother sympathetically, "You're sure you can do this?"

"Who are you talking to?" Damon asked him.

"Oh, I had the chance to kill her and I hesitated." Stefan said to him.

Damon scoffed, "Well that is the fork in the road between you and me my friend. I don't hesitate."

"You spent 145 years loving her, it could happen." Faye told the eldest Salvatore.

He just shook his head, "I won't hesitate."

Faye unlinked her arms from the brothers and grinned, "Well, while you guys fight over the plan, I'm gonna go party. Text me when its time."

"Don't kill anyone." Damon joked.

Faye flashed him a smiled, "I wouldn't dare." She said before walking off in to the crowd. She passed the refreshment table and saw the large piles of deserts and finger food. Her inner wolf couldn't help itself when it came to the food. She was hungry.

Faye walked over to the table and began stuffing her mouth with food. She was getting rude looks from the other guest and she just scowled at them right back.

"You know you have to save some for the other guest, right?" A voice from behind her said. She was ready to yell at them when she turned around, but she stopped. She felt a tug at her heart when she looked straight in the eyes of Tyler Lockwood. He was a potential pack member.

Faye just shrugged, a sheepish smile on her face, "Oops?"

"I haven't seen you around here before." Tyler commented, walking up next to her.

"I got here about a month or two ago. I live with the Salvatores." She stuck out her hand for him, "I'm-"

"Faye." Tyler finished for her, "My mom talks about you a lot. She said you read to the kids at the library and volunteer at the hospital a lot."

Faye did do that. She loved kids and some days, she was a candy striper at the hospital and read to the kids at the library. She may seem like the big bad wolf, but she really wasn't. She was a softie at heart.

"Your mom loves people who help out the town and I happen to be one of those people." Faye replied.

Tyler smiled, "I'm Tyler. Tyler Lockwood."

"So would've been cooler if you did it the James Bond way." She said.

He laughed, "You have a sense of humor. I like it."

She was going to respond but a soft ding came from her phone. She gave Tyler an apologetic look before checking her phone. It was from Damon.

KATHERINE KILLED AIMEE. MEET STEF AND I IN THE THIRD ROOM DOWN ON THE LEFT UPSTAIRS -DAMON.

Faye sighed before placing her phone back in her pocket, "I have to meet up with the Super Salvatore Bros inside. I might see you later?"

"Hopefully."

With a smile, Faye left Tyler alone to go find her boys. She walked inside the Lockwood home and up the stairs. She went in to the room where Damon and Stefan were both waiting with the weapons they needed to put Katherine down.

"Where's the dead girl?" Faye asked.

Stefan was the one who answered, "I put the body in the trunk for now."

"We'll dump her when we get back." Damon informed her.

Stefan then sighed, "This is exactly what I didn't want it, Damon."

"Stefan, it's collateral damage." Faye told him.

"Right, which is why we need to call it off."

Damon eyes widened, "What? Who's hesitating now?" Stefan ignored him so he grabbed his shoulder, "Hey! Don't do this to me! This woman ruined our lives, she destroyed us! Tonight it ends. We can do it all together. Me and Faye got your back. Alright?"

"Alright." Stefan concluded, "Faye, which weapon do you want?"

Faye shrugged, "I don't care. I can just use my teeth."

"Werewolf bites would kill Kitty Kat in a second." Damon replied, "But, I think we should drag it out. Make it painful for her."

Faye rolled her eyes, "Okie dokie, then. Plan in motion?"

Damon pulled out his phone and texted Jeremy, "Plan Kill Katherine is in motion."

Jeremy looked down at the text he got before nodding over to Bonnie before he left. He walked over to Katherine who was talking with Lucy.

"Elena." He took off his mask and looked at Lucy, "Hey sorry, could I talk to my sister?"

Katherine was annoyed but left with him anyways. He led her outside and in to the yard.

"What is it Jeremy?" Katherine asked coolly.

"I have a message from Stefan." He told her.

Katherine quirked an eyebrow at what he said, "Oh?"

"He, Faye, and Damon want you to meet them at the edge of the lake by the woods." Jeremy said, "They brought the moonstone."

"And why are you their little messenger?" She asked him.

Jeremy took a dangerous step forward, "Because they know I'm not afraid of you."

Katherine smirked and tugged at his tie, "Hmm, you Gilbert men, so courageous. How's John by the way? Were they able to sew his fingers back on?" She walked away after that, leaving to go find out what they Salvatores and the hybrid were planning.

Caroline received the text from Jeremy when it was her turn to take action in the "Kill Katherine" plan. She walked over to an empty part in the Lockwood mansion and when she attempted to open the door, Katherine arrived. She caught Caroline's wrist and pushed her against the wall.

"What are Stefan and Damon up to?" Katherine asked her.

Caroline gave her a fake confused look, "What do you mean?"

"I've got Jeremy Gilbert luring me out to the lake. What's going on?" Katherine growled.

"I don't know...nothing."

Katherine strangled her, "Don't lie to me, Caroline. They're up to something, what is it?"

"I..." Katherine tightened her grip around Caroline's throat, "Wait, no, no, no! Okay. They're trying to kill you."

She sighed, "I figured as much. Where is the moonstone?"

Caroline answered her question, "Bonnie has it."

"And where is Bonnie right now?"

"I don't know." Caroline replied. Katherine strangled her again, "Okay. She's upstairs, she's upstairs!"

Katherine let her go and grabbed her wrist. She dragged Caroline upstairs. Caroline whimpered at the grip the vampire had on her wrist.

"Why do you keep dragging me into this? I don't want any part of it." Caroline asked her.

Katherine snarled at her, "Shut up!" They stopped in the middle of the hall, "Which room is it?"

Caroline pointed towards the room with double doors, "It's that one."

Katherine swung them open before walking inside the room. Caroline stayed outside, knowing exactly what would happen if she went in there. Bonnie wasn't in the room, causing Katherine to frown.

"Where is she?" Katherine asked.

Caroline began laughing, "I did it. I really didn't think that I'd be able to fool you but I did it."

Katherine was about to rush over to her but the invisible barrier in the doorway stopped her. She placed her hand on it, confused, "What the...?" She turned around and came eye to eye with Stefan, "Stefan?" She glanced down at the stake in his hand.

"Hello Katherine."

Caroline smirked and waved at her, "Goodbye Katherine." She left, going to watch Tyler.

"You don't really think that you can kill me with that now, do you?" Katherine taunted him.

Stefan shook his head, "No, but he can."

Damon came out of the closet with the crossbow and aimed it at her. He shot the arrow, getting her in the back. She gasped in pain before pulling it out of her body. Stefan rushed over to Katherine and drove a stake through her arm. Katherine attempted to throw him away from her but it wasn't possible. She ripped the stake out of her arm and tried to attack Damon with it. Faye then came out from her hiding spot, grabbing Katherine by the throat. She showed her hybrid face to the vampire and smirked.

"Sleep tight, Kitty Kat." She went to bite Katherine but Jeremy's panicked voice stopped her.

"Stop! You're hurting Elena! Everything you're doing to her is hurting Elena!" Jeremy yelled to them.

Faye groaned in annoyance and threw Katherine aside. Katherine grinned as she stood back up, looking at the Salvatore brothers who were surprised.

"You think you two are the only ones with a witch on your side? Wrong and something tells me that my witch is better than your witch." Katherine took a stake off the ground.

Stefan looked at Jeremy, "Jeremy, go check on Elena. Make sure she's okay. Go!" Jeremy didn't have to be told twice before he ran to check on his sister.

Katherine had a bitter look on her face, "Let's all make sure poor Elena is okay. Just a little bit more pressure." She sliced her hand with the stake, blood seeping through the cut. Stefan slapped the stake out of her hand in anger.

"This is really gonna hurt." Katherine told them as she picked up the stake again, ready to drive it through her stomach.

Damon jumped to stop her, "Wait!"

Katherine smirked, happy about the outcome of this. She sat down on the couch and looked up at the three remaining supernatural creatures in the room, "Okay. So, how about that moonstone?"

"The three of us together just like old times. The brother who loved me too much and the one that didn't love me enough." Katherine then looked at Faye, "Then there's the plus one. The firey red headed hybrid who killed her parents."

Damon scowled at her, "And the evil slut vampire who only loved herself."

"What happened to you Damon? You used to be so sweet and polite." Katherine asked him.

"Oh that Damon died a long time ago."

Katherine sighed in relief, "Good. He was a bore."

"Oh, why don't you two stop antagonizing each other?" Faye suggested in annoyance.

"Where is the moonstone?" Katherine asked them.

Stefan leaned forward, looking at her, "What do you want with it?"

"Does Elena enjoy having both of you worship at her alter?" Katherine asked, avoiding the questions Stefan had.

Faye chuckled, "Oh, Kat, jealousy does not look good on someone of your age."

Stefan looked at Damon then back at Katherine, "That was really desperate, Katherine. Don't you think that we can see right through you?"

"So it doesn't bother you that Damon's in love with your girlfriend?" Katherine asked Stefan.

Stefan sighed, "Oh, stop it."

"Or what? You'll hurt me?" Katherine got up from her seat, "Come on, Stefan. Everything that I feel, Elena feels, so go ahead." She looked over at Damon, "Or better yet, kiss me Damon. She'll feel that too."

"You know, this whole Mason thing has me a bit confused." Stefan said, "Why a werewolf? The moonstone can break a curse that would help them destroy all vampires so what's in that for you?"

Faye clicked her tongue, "Sorry about your pet wolf, probably should have kept him on a tighter leash."

"I'll have to remember that for next time. He's not the only wolf in town."

Faye's eyes widened as she realized what Katherine meant, "Tyler." She rushed towards the door, only to be stopped by the barrier, "I need to get out of here. Now!"

"Awh. Did wolf boy become part of your pack?" Katherine taunted her.

Faye turned towards Katherine ,"I will rip you to shreds." She rushed over and grabbed her by the throat.

"Faye calm-"

"You don't hurt my pack!" Faye yelled at the vampire.

Katherine sneered at the hybrid, "Do it. Kill me. You'll won't have your Salvatores' precious Elena anymore."

With a cold glare, Faye dropped Katherine to the ground. Katherine smirked slightly up at the hybrid. He's going to love you, Katherine thought as she looked at her.

"Damn it! Where is that witch?" Damon growled angrily as he paced in front of the doorway.

Katherine shrugged, "We could play charades."

"You bargained the moonstone." Stefan said quietly.

Faye's head snapped over to Stefan, "What are you mumbling about over there?"

"When you struck a deal with George Lockwood, to help you fake your death, you told me that you gave George something that he needed. It was the moonstone, wasn't it?" Stefan asked her.

Katherine smiled, "Good for you, Stefan. 2+2...And it would have worked except that people found out that I wasn't in the tomb." She looked over at Damon, "Thanks to you, by the way. Have I mentioned how inconvenient your obsession with me has been?"

Damon scowled at her, "You and me both, honey."

"Why do you need it back?" Stefan asked Katherine.

Katherine walked over to him and tugged on his suit jacket, "I love you in a suit, so dashing."

"What were you doing with it in the first place?"

Faye sighed as she looked at Stefan, "You're wasting your breath, Stef."

"Unless it wasn't yours to begin with. In 1864 you faked your death." Stefan said, putting the pieces together, "Who were you running from, Katherine?"

Katherine just smirked at him, "In 1987 you were in Chicago, at a concert of all places with that wench, Lexi." When she saw the look on his face, her smirk widened, "Come on Stefan, don't look so surprised. Of course I checked in on you over the years. You were standing in the front row, dancing all night. You were watching Bon Jovi and I was watching you."

"Who were you running from?" Stefan asked once again.

Katherine just mouthed "I love you" before going back to sit on the couch.

"We're missing the party. I'll have one of those." Katherine told Damon as he poured himself a drink.

He mimicked the voice of a servant boy, "Right away Miss Katherine." He gave her a glass.

"Thank you." She took a sip of the drink. Damon caught her and pushed her against the wall. He tried to stake her but Stefan stopped him.

"No, no! Damon, don't!" Stefan yelled.

Katherine looked at Damon smugly, "Yes, Damon, please."

"The second the spell is lifted, I'm gonna drive a stake right through your heart." Damon told her as he lowered the stake and let her go.

"God, you're hot. When did you get so hot?"

Lucy entered the room with moonstone in her hand, "Katherine, the spell on this room has been broken, you're free to leave."

Katherine sighed in relief, "Thank God."

"When I hand this over my debt to you is over." Lucy told her.

"Done."

"I owe you nothing."

Katherine was growing annoyed, "I said done. Give it."

"I wouldn't do that." Faye warned the witch.

Lucy handed over the moonstone to Katherine. As soon as she touched it, she had the feeling she couldn't breath. Lucy looked down at her as she began collapsing to the ground, choking on oxygen.

"You should have told me another witch was involved. She's a Bennett witch, Katherine, but I'm sure you knew that." Lucy said to the vampire.

Stefan looked worried, "Wait, Elena!"

"Elena's fine." Lucy said as Katherine fell to the floor, " The spell is broken. She'll heal quickly, Bonnie's with her." Katherine feel unconscious, "I apologize for my involvement." She left the room. Faye walked over to Katherine and nudged her with her foot.

"What do we do with her?" Faye asked them. Stefan shrugged before rushing out of the room to go find Elena. Damon walked up next to her and narrowed his eyes at Katherine, "Can we kill her now?"

Damon shook his head, "That's be too easy."

"Well, I have an idea then."

Katherine slowly awoke with the moonstone next to her. She took it and slowly got up. She rushed towards the exit, only to find she's trapped inside.

"Hello Katherine." Damon said as he stood outside the tomb with Faye.

Katherine was panicking, "Where am I?"

"Where you should have been all along." Faye told her, a smirk on her face.

Damon grinned at Katherine, "I thought you'd have learned your lesson by now, messing with a Bennett witch."

"You should have killed me." Katherine said.

Faye shook her head, "Death would have been too kind."

Damon went to close the door, causing Katherine to become hysterical, "No, Damon, don't. Damon, don't. You need me, Elena's in danger."

"From who?" Katherine didn't answer, "You're lying, you're always lying."

"Why do you think I haven't killed her? Because she's the doppelganger, she needs to be protected." Katherine tried to reason with him.

"Then I'll protect her, while you rot in hell." Damon closed the door and Katherine cried, "No, Damon, don't! I'll do anything, please. Damon! You need me! Damon! You need me! You need me!"

Faye looked over at Damon as they began walking up the steps of the old church, "Can we go get something to eat now? I'm hungry."

"You can have a blood bag when we get home."

"You're no fun." Fay said with a pout.

Damon grinned at her, "I'm actually loads of fun."

They both ran back home, ignoring Katherine's pleas and cries to let her out.
