So, I kinda got bored. Screw the D-ranks! Let's get to the C-rank or A-rank whatever you wanna call it.

Oh, and I have some decisions I need you guys to make about the weapons they should wield.

Naruto:

- Sword/Katana

- Wind Blades/Knuckle Knives (Asuma's blades)

- Chakra Chains (primary or secondary?)

- Your choice

Sasuke:

- Sword

- Your choice

Sakura:

- Dagger

- A sword similar to one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist (I'll pick)

"Granny can we please get a more exciting mission?" Naruto pleaded. "We're good enough aren't we?"

Tsunade sighed. "You're only five. But if you insist. . . Kakashi?"

"Oh they're strong enough alright," the Jonin said immediately, leaning his head to the left to pop his sore neck.

Naruto and Sasuke rolled their eyes and Sakura cracked her knuckles.

Tsunade mentally debated with herself before giving in. "Alright. . . you want a harder mission? I'll give you a C-rank."

Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura high-fived in triumph, grinning gleefully.

"You better be wary of trouble at all times, alright?" Her brown eyes stared sternly at her grandson.

"Yes Granny," he said obediently.

"The Chuunin Exams will be held here in Konoha when you are back, so please try to return unscathed. I'm thinking of nominating you three, since you are clearly prodigies of your generation. And I know it's just a C-rank mission but with you guys. . . anything can happen," Tsunade frowned worriedly.

'Oh how right you are, Granny,' Naruto thought gleefully.

"Don't worry about us Granny, we can take care of ourselves!" the blonde responded cheerfully.

Tsunade smiled softly before calling, "Tazuna, you can come in now!"

A very drunken old man came wobbling into the room.

"You'll be protecting Tazuna as he journeys back to the Land of the Waves. He's a bridge builder," Tsunade told the trio.

"Huh? These brats are supposed to protect me? I hired shinobi, not brats!" Tazuna slurred.

Tsunade glanced towards her grandson's team, and was surprised that they weren't lashing out the rude man who just insulted them. Instead, Sakura and Naruto were sweatdropping as Sasuke's eyebrow twitched.

"I assure you they are fully qualified to protect you," Kakashi reassured him. "And besides, I'm a Jonin so you are in safe hands."

Tazuna only grunted in response.

"Yeah um, okay. Sakura, we should get Sasuke out of here before he blows a fuse. . ." Naruto fidgeted nervously, causing his grandmother to nearly choke.

Sasuke was the one going to blow a fuse?! Naruto was normally the one getting all angry.

"Y-Yeah, let's go," Sakura agreed hastily.

"Naruto, use your technique to get him away from here - not just the office, out of Konoha - as fast as possible. Got it?" Kakashi looked at them sternly.

"Yes sir!" the two saluted simultaneously before they grabbed both of Sasuke's arms and teleported away with a flash of golden fire.

Tsunade looked sharply at Kakashi. "What is Naruto's technique? And out of Konoha? Why would he need to be -"

She was cut off as there was an angry roar and a large explosion around ten miles from Konoha in a deserted forest.

"Taken out of the village," Tsunade finished, shaken breathless from the display of power.

"That's why," Kakashi replied nonchalantly. "And as for Naruto's technique? It's basically his father's Flying Thunder God Jutsu, only modified as. . . his self-proclaimed symbol."

"And golden fire was his symbol?" Tsunade said this as a statement of disbelief and not a question.

"Yeah."

"KE STOP DESTROYING THE FOREST FOR KAMI'S SAKE!" Naruto voice shouted, trying to stop his brother from blowing up the entire forest that he had randomly teleported them to just before Sasuke exploded from rage.

"HE CALLED US BRATS! BRATS, RUTO! AND HE SAID WE WEREN'T SHINOBI! WE'RE F---ING KA-" Sasuke was abruptly cut off as his sister pummeled him to the ground.

"Shut up!" Sakura hissed. "You might spill our secret!"

Sasuke snorted before getting up from the crater. "If only that stupid bridge-builder knew what we were capable of. . ."

"He did know," Naruto said softly. "He just forgot."

Sasuke sighed before running a hand through his hair. "Sorry guys. I just. . . get so angry when someone belittles us. If only they knew. . ."

"But they can't know." Naruto sat beside on his right, sighing. "Our future, and everyone else's, depends on us. We've already changed so much, and you know we can't risk telling them now."

"We've already told Kakashi, Rin and Obito," Sakura sat on Sasuke's left. "They could help us, but I otherwise, I think we're on our own."

"Yeah, you're right. So!" Sasuke clapped his hands. "Should we invent a story on how I got my Mangekyō Sharingan?"

"You still have it?" Naruto was surprised.

"Well, yeah! If I have my Sharingan, why wouldn't I have my Mangekyō?"

"Hmm," Naruto frowned. "Let's see. Maybe you could achieve your Mangekyō when you were sparring with me and we were testing out our Chidori and Rasengan. My Rasengan slipped out of the way and your Chidori went into my chest. . ." Naruto trailed off.

"Wait! How about Ke was using his Chidori on a Sound ninja, since we know they will invade us anyway, and since Naruto was battling nearby, the Sound ninja used Naruto as a shield!" Sakura clapped her hands, pleased with herself.

Sasuke grimaced. "How traumatizing."

"And that was traumatizing enough for you to activate your Mangekyō!" His siblings exclaimed in unison.

"I hope that won't actually happen," the raven muttered.

"Let's hope," Naruto nodded.

"You called, Kakashi-san?" Itachi Uchiha shushined silently into the Hokage's office.

"Well yes. Could you please check on your brothers and Sakura?" Kakashi asked politely. "I'm talking to our client here, and we just heard Naruto screaming at Sasuke not to destroy a whole forest. . ."

Itachi sweatdropped. "Um, sure."

He quickly shushined away, hoping nothing too bad had happened.

When he arrived, he did a double-take at the disastrous landscape before him. Craters littered the ground and tree trunks were fallen over each other. What was once a lush forest was now a barren wasteland.

He saw Team 7 calmly meditating in a circle inside a f---ing crater, breathing evenly and, strangely enough, simultaneously. Each deep breath was taken at exactly the same time, held the same amount of seconds and released at the same time.

It was creepy.

It was like they were mind-linked.

Which is impossible.

Or is it?

Sasuke slowly opened his eyes, sensing a familiar chakra signature arrive via shushin.

Itachi gaped inwardly as he saw his little brother's eyes. They were red with three black tomoe. He had the Sharingan already?! He himself had it when he was eight, so how in the name of Kami did his five-year-old brother get the Sharingan?!

"Oh. It's just you, Nii-san," Sasuke said calmly.

"How you did you activate your Sharingan, otouto?" Itachi asked cautiously.

Sasuke inwardly grimaced. They had forgotten to cover that. . .

"I was. . . sparring with Kura. She's starting to use senbon now, and because we have a harder mission coming up, as well as the Chuunin Exams, we were practicing dodging fast and nearly invisible missiles."

Sasuke's mind went blank after that. What was he to say?!

"Kura was practicing her aim without sight, so she threw them blindfolded at a chakra signature. She managed to hit a lot of Ke's vital points, blocking them. Ke then activated his Sharingan so he could see and move better," Naruto inputted calmly, opening his eyes.

"And that's the story of his Sharingan," Sakura also opened her eyes.

Sasuke made a mental note to thank his siblings for saving him from his mind-blank.

Itachi's mouth fell open. They were taking their training way too seriously. What were they really preparing for? The Chuunin Exams wouldn't be that hard, and he heard their mission was only C-rank. Was this what they naturally did whenever they expected a challenge?

"Ruto would you mind increasing our gravity seals?" Sasuke asked his blonde brother, seeing his other one space out.

Naruto shrugged. "Okay, from 500 to 550?"

"Yeah, sounds good. How heavy are yours?" Sasuke took off his shirt.

"Sakura is 350 right now. I'm on 10,000," Naruto said casually as he wove some hand signs. Purple seals suddenly glowed on Sasuke's fair skin.

"I'm about to increase them to 10,050."

"You're crazy."

"But it makes me faster quicker."

"Touché."

"Naru can you increase mine to 400?" Sakura asked, watching her brothers.

"Sure."

Itachi quickly snapped back to reality when he saw the three of them glowing purple.

'Gravity seals? ' he thought blankly. "How heavy are your gravity seals?" he asked aloud.

"Ke is 550, Kura is 400 and I'm on 10,050," Naruto replied as the glow died down and the seal markings faded into their skin.

Itachi's jaw hit the ground as his eyes widened. He didn't even bother trying to hide his shock. How did five-year-olds have gravity seals that heavy?!

"We should probably go pack for our mission," Sakura told her brothers as they nodded.

"C'mon Nii-san, we're going home," Sasuke called.

Itachi nodded blankly as he followed them, still in a daze. Seriously, what was his brother preparing for that made them go to the extreme? There was something his brother was not telling him, and he was determined to find out.
