Hi! So, I have good news and bad news.

Bad news: 

As soon as I was back into the animation flow, animation desk takes everything I ever loved about it and tells me I have to pay to have it. So anything I make in it looks like a sh*tty Google drawing done with a mouse.

So I'm getting started on toonboom ahead of schedule.

That's the good news: mom paid for toonboom as my Christmas present (and since I'm a student I get a huge discount) so I started figuring out the tools, and HOLY MUSHROOMS. the program is a bit tricky to learn, but it a million times better than animation desk. SO MANY FUNCTIONS. ACTUAL SHADING. so my quality is definitely going to go up! This is a drawing of garnet I made to start getting used to the tools (the one on the left is a reference image)

However, this will be a pretty big learning curve. So unfortunately, I'll probably have this on hiatus for a month or two to get used to the tools. In the meantime, here's the (kind of?) Speedpaint for some of the BNWSO bois and Virgil messing with his headphones!

Also: I was learning about CPR in Phs ed and one of the chapters in the manual was called " the heart and when it breaks" so I drew this in Google drawings as a joke, forgot it was there and submitted it by accident. Hopefully Mrs Corrigan has a sense of humor.
