Hello everyone.... I hope you all liked my previous chapters. Please let me know what you think.

And as promised, I am gonna reveal a true love story of my friend. She fell in love with a friend of her brother. When the family members got to know about it, they were really mad at her. But she didn't lie or hide anymore about her preference of both her family and him. He was settled guy who was responsible and had intentions of only marriage with her.

And she actually waited patiently for acceptance from her family. After one year of the wait, they agreed and did her wedding grandly.

In few cases, instead of taking wrong steps and hurting people, it is better to wait patiently.

Love marriage is not wrong. But love is pure feeling where you never hurt anyone's feelings. Hurting your parents may not be the right way and at the same time leaving the guy for parents is also not. You have to find balance between the two and have patience.

Please don't get me wrong guys. This is my opinion and may be for different from yours. And I completely respect your opinions too.

Ashni POV:

As the weekend approached, I informed everyone at home and Anrag family also arrived at our place, and we started our preparations for lunch. I informed a time for all. But I gave a early timing for Ahana because I wanted to talk to her personally. I told Anrag also about what happened earlier with her. He told me to talk to her and if needed, he will join us.

"So you both seems to join your job." Ranganath uncle said (if anyone missed, he is Anrag father).

"Yes uncle, we got good set of friends and wonderful seniors to guide us." I said excitingly.

"Yeah yeah dad, new friends, new relationships, new love." Anrag said and threw a pillow at him. We both started fighting like kids and running around the house, while our family members were laughing at our childishness.

The full house was enriched with our laughter and love.

While we all were laughing, I saw Ahana at our door step and smiling at us.

"Hi Ahana, why are you standing there. Please come in." I said to her and everyone else greeted her.

She came in and was having a amused look.

"What happened?" I asked her.

"I never seen any family this happy. And I have never experienced this kind of love and affection." She said. Listening to that, my mom went and hugged her.

"Don't ever say that. Since you are our daughter's friend, you are our daughter too. You are always welcome here." She said to Ahana.

She smiled and had tears and hugged my mom little tighter.

I just keep wondering, what happened to her in the past that she lost all the hole in life.

"You guys continue, I wanna show Ahana my room. Come, let's go." Saying this I dragged her to my room.

"You have such a lovely family." She said when we were in my room.

"Thank you. I am truly blessed, but as mom said now it's yours too." I said. And took her in mine as assurance that she is not alone anymore.

"Where is everyone else?" She asked.

"They will come a little late. I asked you to come early to have a talk with you." I said. She had questioning looks.

"Dr. Priyam told me about your breakdown yesterday." I said. She nodded her head understanding what I am talking about.

"Look, I am not sure what happened. I just want you to know that we all are with you now. And sharing your problems or fears might help you in overcoming everything in life. I will definitely not force you to tell me everything. Just know that I will be there for you no matter what. And whenever you want to share anything, I am all ears." I said.

With that she was on edge to cry. She hugged me. I comforted her.

"Thanks Ashni. You are the only person who ever said these things to me. Yes, right now I am not a perfect person. I have a lot of flaws, but never wanted to be a nice person to anyone because they will either show sympathy or take advantage of me after knowing me completly. I never liked it. So I just turned into a bitch." She said and broke the hug.

Ashni and Ahana 👆

"As I said I never had a lovely family. Our family is just small, Dad, Mom and myself. They were always busy with their business and their own life. Never really cared or loved me. They take me as their just mere responsibility. They used to get me everything expensive and let me do whatever I wanted to. They used to think that that's what I want. But not really, I wanted them, their time. I just wanted a normal family life. But that never happened." She added and cried.

I kept on comforting her.

"So I started throwing tantrums and different ways to draw their attraction towards me. But in one of those efforts, I got into a big danger that changed my life upside down. Nothing was normal back then. It's all a nightmare. I planned something with the one person that I trusted the most and he went behind my back, causing me a huge scar in life. After that one incident, I stopped being nice and navie. My parents too changed and they understood what I was craving for. But it was too late. Because I lost everything after it. From that moment, I became like this." She said.

I just hugged her and comforted her.

"Ahana, I feel like you don't want to share about that incident exactly what happened. No worries, I respect your privacy and space. You can talk about it whenever you want or never as well. But just remember, I will not justify your parents for their acts, but all I will suggest you is, give them a chance. Everyone deserves a second chance. Like I gave you, and look at us now. So I won't say forgive them right away. Take your time but don't let them give up on you." I said.

"Thanks a lot for understanding. And yes I will give them a second chance." She said.

"But just one question." I asked. She nodded indicating me to go ahead and ask her.

"What is there in that ward that scared you?" I asked her. She looked for that.

"Don't tell me that, the person who betrayed you is there." I said in shock. She just nodded.

"OMG. Who is it?" I asked.

"His name is Karthik." She said.

"OMG. Yes, that little pervert and flirt." I said in complete annoyance.

She looked confused.

"He was flirting with me throughout the day. It was so irritating. Thank god Dr. Roshan saved me once from a coffee date offer from him." I said.

"Ashni be careful, he is very manipulative and dangerous." She said worriedly.

"Don't worry. I will be fine. I will be careful with him." I said.

"May be it's better that I tell you about the incident too. So that you will know that idiot intentions and be careful." She said.

"Ashni, Ahana come out. Everyone is here." Anju aunty called us out.

"Ahana, it's okay, share about it when you are comfortable. Not because you have to save me. Since you said a lot. I will really be careful. Don't worry. Now let's go and have some good time. And don't worry about that idiot, we will make him pay for whatever he did to you." I said.

Finally she smiled and dragged her out.

We went and greeted Icha and Priyam, they were sitting with our family and talking. I can't find Dr. Roshan. I was really excited about him being here and have been waiting since morning. But where is he???

"He is stuck in a surgery, he may not be able to make it." Priyam answered my unasked question.

I just expressed 'oh'. With that everyone became little sad looking at me. Why am I so upset now. He is doing his duty and for that I can't be mad at him. The patient needs him more than me. Everyone is here and we should have a good time together. So I tried to lighten the mood.

"So guys, these are our friends from hospital." I said.

"Ashni and Anrag talked a lot about you guys. Seriously, thanks for taking care of our kids." My dad said.

"No problem sir. It's our pleasure to have them. They are very talented." Priyam said.

"Stop stop stop. No professional or formal talks. We heard the both love stories of you two. I am so happy. And I wish we also find someone soon." Icha said. Everyone smiled.

"But dear, you can wish for something and someone much better na." Anju aunty said. Ranganath uncle was shocked and we all laughed.

"What do you mean by that? Am I not the best for you?" He asked aunty.

"I carved you with tools to make the best person out of you." She said. And we all laughed again.

"Let's talk after having lunch. Otherwise the food will become cold." My mom said.

We all went to have lunch. But it turned out to be the best day ever. We all get along very well and laughed non-stop. We ate and had talks after it for a long time.

This is kind of life I always wanted with family and friends.

Ahana POV:

After talking to Ashni, I felt so much relief. She is the best person anyone can get as a friend. I felt like I can face that bastard now.

And I really have to thank Dr. Priyam for helping me yesterday and also talking to Ashni.

When they all came, we had a blast. This would be probably the most I laughed throughout my life. May be in future also. This is the best day of my life. I felt complete, having a family and friends. The life and the time I always wanted since I was a kid.

I saw Dr. Priyam talking on phone in the backyard. I thought this is the best time to thank him. I went out to talk to him.

"Hello sir." I greeted. He turned back.

"Hi Ahana. Please call me by name. We are not in hospital now. Though I prefer calling me by my name in hospital too. Atleast not here. I feel like a old man when anyone calls me sir." He said. I laughed at that. He too smiled.

"I actually wanted to thank you for understanding my situation yesterday and chaging my duty and also informing Ashni." I said.

"You are welcome. So that means Ashni had a talk with you. I hope you are feeling better now." He said.

"Yes. Actually I am feeling much more than just better." I said smiling at him.

Priyam and Ahana 👆

"I am glad to hear that. Keep smiling. Thay suits you a lot." He said and left.

I feel so blessed today to have all these people here with me.

I too went inside to join everyone.

Icha POV:

Today I went to Ashni home. It feels like you are a part of that family. They make you feel that way. Such a lovely family. I too have a lovely family but not like this. I just get jealous of Ashni and Anrag.

"What happened?" Anrag came and asked me, breaking my thoughts.

"You have a lovely family. I am jealous of you." I said.

He laughed at me.

Anrag and Icha 👆

"Yes. I am blessed. But you can also be a part of our family." He said.

"How?" I asked.

"Marry me?" He asked. I was completely shocked.

"Please don't worry. I had a bet with Ashni to make you speechless. Don't worry and yes, you are our friend. That means a part of this family." He said laughing at my shocked expression.

I too joined him. Thank god, he was joking. I was really shocked.

And our laughter's continued till evening.

Ashni POV:

As it was becoming late, everyone started to leave. Priyam said he will drop off Ahana and Anrag went to drop Icha. I went to my room to take some rest.

I fell on my bed taking my phone. I left it here, when I came to talk to Ahana and after that I didn't get time to check it. When I opened my phone, I had so many missed calls and tons of messages from Dr. Roshan. My face lit up with happiness immediately.

Without even checking the messages, I called him up.

Roshan POV:

Today I was really excited to meet Ashni and her family. But I think I am not lucky. I got a emergency case for a immediate surgery. I can't pass it on to others. It's a life and danger situation. I informed Priyam and left to hospital.

After surgery, I messaged Ashni apologizing, but there is no response even after a long time. So I couldn't wait. I called her up but she didn't pick my calls. I tried after a while, still no response. I sent so many messages but still no response.

Is she mad at me? Or upset with me? What to do now?

I was really breaking my head. I kept staring at my phone for a notification or a call. But had sign of none. Finally giving up, I immersed myself into work.

While I was on my way, I got a call. Without looking at the caller, I picked it up.

"Hello, who is this?" I asked looking at the road.

"What? You don't know me. Just because I didn't pick few calls, you got mad and forgot me sir?" She said. I gave a sudden break to the car.

"Hello Ashni, ofcourse not. I am not mad and I will never forget you." I said.

"It's just that I am driving that's why I didn't see the caller ID and picked it up." I added.

"Oh ok. " She replied.

"But I know that you are mad at me. So I am really sorry that I couldn't make it today. It was an emergency and I couldn't find a replacement. But I will make it up to you." I said.

"I am not mad at you. I know that your duty as a doctor always comes first. It's just a lunch, which can be planned later as well. But if you didn't go may be it would have costed a life." She said understandingly.

This is something I love the most. She understands everyone and every situation very well.

"Then why didn't answer my calls or respond to my messages? I thought you were mad at me." I asked her.

She laughed at that.

"Nothing like that. I left my phone in my room and didn't check it till now. I am sorry about that." She said. I was relaxed that she wasn't mad at me.

"Oh thank god. But still I want to make it upto you." I said.

"How?" She asked.

"Come to your street corner where there is panipuri stall." I said.

"What? Why?" She asked.

"Just come." I said.

"Are you there now?" She asked. I said yes. I can hear her giggles.

"Just give me 10 minutes. I will be there." She said and disconnected. I got down the car and waited for her.

Ashni POV:

Knowing the fact that he came all the way to meet me energized me well. I ran outside to go and see him. I went to our street corner.

"Hellooo..." I said little panting.

"Ohooo. Slowly. Why did you run? I came to meet you and without that I wouldn't have left." He said.

"I know. I didn't want to make you wait." I said. I am so embarrassed now to run like that.

We both leaned to the car and started talking.

"So how did the surgery go?" I asked.

"It went very well. And once again I am really sorry." He said.

"It's okay. As I said, attending patient is more important than my lunch plan." I said assuring him that I am not mad at him.

"Thanks for understanding. So how did your little get-together go?" He asked.

With that I told him everything.

"Omg. I missed so much. Now I feel bad for myself." He said.

"It's okay, let's plan for another lunch and pray that you don't get an emergency cases that day." I said. He smiled.

"Okay then, bye. I just came to say sorry to you. I will go. You also go back, it is little late. " He told me.

"Wait, let's have pani puri atleast. You came this far for me right. So I will treat you." I said.

"Here?" He asked.

"So what, you get the best taste here only. And don't worry he makes it hygienicly only." I said. He nodded.

We had panipuri and He too enjoyed eating there.

"Okay then bye." He said. I wished him back. But honestly I was expecting a gesture from him like before. But he turned and started walking to his car. I too turned around to go home.

"Ashni" he called me, and I turned back.

He gave a kiss on my forehead. I closed my eyes with full content feeling.

"Good night." He wished.

Roshan and Ashni👆

"Good night." I wished him back and went home.

This feeling is great.....but will this be forever?
