Hello, all the wonderful and so supportive readers, 

I know I have been promising continuous updates, and I am not able to deliver my promise. I am really sorry all. I am trying my best to be active but my MBA is not letting me. Right now my main goal is MBA so little held up and I am not saying Wattpad is not important to me. It is a big part of my life, yet right now I want to prioritize things. I will keep updating as much as possible regularly.

Ashni POV:

As usual, I went to the hospital to have another amazing day. Nowadays everything is going so smoothly to be true. I am scared of all these good times and happiness will last forever or not. I know they won't. There will be tough times to test us and correct our wrong deeds, but right now I don't want anything of that sort. All I want is to make Roshan more lively. I don't know why I am concentrating more on him, but I like the thought of being there for him, for being the reason for his smile, for being in his life as a new chapter. After yesterday's words by Dr. Priyam, all I could think about is Roshan. I don't know what relation we have and I don't want to name it yet, because this feels amazing not to know and trying to figure out. I want to see what destiny held for us or for the future. 

I went to the hospital with all these thoughts. As I entered, I greeted everyone with the greatest smile. I went straight to the intern's room. 

"Good morning everyoneeeee, " I said. 

" Oh someone is in good mood, " Icha said. 

" I went out last night with my family," I said. 

" That's it??" Ahana asked. 

"Yes," I said

"Really??" I heard a voice from the door. I turned towards the source. I spotted Anrag there. 

"We all went out last night and had a great time. And this morning you completely forgot about me and came to the hospital without waiting for me," he said. shootttttt. I forgot that he was coming to pick me up. Everyone was looking at me. I just ran out of the room for my duty. 

I went for the regular rounds to check the updates and gave the updated files to the respective supervising doctors. But all the time I was thinking about Roshan and his smile. And actually, I didn't see him in the morning. Just waiting for a chance to go and report any case to him. 

I was about to go to the office when I heard some cries from the children's ward. I went in, to check on the kids. As I walked in, I saw everyone surrounding one kid, and he is crying. And two nurses are trying to calm everyone down. 

"Hello, the wonderful kids. What happened?" I asked. No one responded. I looked at the nurse. 

"It's his birthday," she answered. I turned to him. 

"Oh wow, Happy Birthday. That's a very happy occasion. Why are you crying?" 

" I want to eat noodles, but the doctors are not letting me eat. It's my birthday and my one wish is not being fulfilled," he said in between his cries. 

"Well, I understand. But the noodles are not healthy for you right now. Pretty soon, you will healthy and fully recovered and soon you will be allowed everything you want to. " I tried convincing him. 

"But doctors said I will die very soon..." He said and was about to say more. 

"Shhhhh. Don't say such things. Nothing will happen to you. We all are here to save you and we will not let anything to you. I PROMISE." I said. 

"Don't make any promises. You can't fulfill my one wish and you are saying such big things," he said. For which I had no answers. The kid is talking in real terms. And I became speechless. 

"Okay. I will get your noodles." I said. He seemed to get excited. I smiled and promised to give him noodles. 

"But he is not allowed to have noodles." one of the nurses said. I asked her to keep quiet. 

I went to make special noodles for all the kids.

Roshan POV:

I went to the hospital and I was just hoping to see her, talk to her, and just spend more time with her. But have been busy all day with many cases from the morning. I thought to meet her for lunch, and I was about to finish approving a few more files when I came across the file of Ravi, the cancer patient from the kid's ward whose birthday today. I thought to go and wish and gift him something today. 

When I went in, they all are already having a treat and everyone is enjoying it. The entire room is decorated and all the kids are decked up. There was light music and the kids seem to have a great time. And that brought a smile to my face. And I went to him to wish him a happy birthday. He was having food and looked at me happily. I wished him. And when I looked at him, he was actually having noodles. And then I lost it. 

"You are not supposed to have noodles. NURSEEEEE," I shouted. 

"You all are given clear instructions about their condition, what they are supposed, and what they are not supposed to eat. Didn't we?" I asked, actually I screamed at them. 

"Yes sir," she said. Priyam also came in. 

"The, what the hell is happening here? what are you guys doing when he is having noodles when he is not supposed to," I said with a stern voice. 

"We did say sir, but Dr. Ashni arranged all this and she only got the noodles also for all," she answered. 

"Actually, it's my idea. And I arranged all this. I am alone responsible for this" Ashni came in and said. 

"Oh right, here comes the goddess and who can save everyone from everything. " I said sarcastically. 

"Sir..." She was about to say something. 

"Was your duty in the children's ward today?" I asked. she nodded a no. 

"Are you a doctor or intern?" I asked. Intern, she replied. 

"Then do what you are asked to do. And stop taking up everything in this hospital. Now get back to your duty and you both clear all this stupid mess." I said to Ashni and the nurses. 

After everything I said, even I felt very bad. And I can make it out that she is on edge of crying. But I have to be strict. And soon she went out. Actually ran out. 

Everyone there went very silent, and the kids looked so mad at me. 

"You all need to eat healthy food to get well soon. This junk food will spoil your health more." I said. 

"Today is my birthday, and this was my wish to eat noodles. " Ravi answered. 

"But still, you cannot eat noodles," I said. His face fell very soon. 

"Excuse me, sir, do you always act like a jerk?" Dr. Icha said. 

"Excuse me" I was irritated. 

"Can't you look at this?" She pointed to the noodles. 

"What to look at?" I asked. 

"These are noodles exactly. These are noodles made of steaming eggs. So it's completely healthy and plus, the kids are happy. Ashni was trying to make them happy and she also knows that we can't risk their health. She is a responsible doctor and a human being with a heart." she said and stormed out of the ward. 

And when I examined the noodles, she was right, they are made of eggs and it is healthy. Shit, OMG, what have I done. I am such a dumb person. Now everyone was looking at me with so much rage. 

Nurses were removing all the decorations,

"Actually keep the decorations on, you all can eat the noodles," I said. Still no response. 

"And I am sorry, I yelled, I was just worried about your health. I am really sorry. " I said and held my ears. 

"It's okay. Say sorry to Ashni didi. Not to us." Ravi said. Everyone, Priyam, Kids, Nurses, other doctors, and interns nodded agreeing with Ravi. 

"I will." saying this. I went to find her.

Ashni POV:

I promised Ravi and came to call my mom to ask for her help.

"Hi mom," I said.

"What happened Sweety? Is your boss giving you trouble again?" She asked.

"No mom. Actually, I promised something to one of the kids here." I said and explained the situation.

"You are just like. Always getting into trouble. " Saying this she laughed.

"Mom, please help me out here," I asked. She gave me the idea that eggs can be steamed as noodles. And I thanked her and went to the other interns.

We got the egg noodles and decorations ready. Anrag and Ahana decorated the ward and Icha helped me with the noodles. I made the noodles in the hospital kitchen for all the kids. We surprised the kids and they all were very happy. Everything was going perfectly. And at the same time, Dr. Roshan also walked in. I was so happy and glad that finally I get to see him. He was so happy and was smiling all the while. But everything changed and got ruined in minutes.

He started yelling at the nurses and then at me. He didn't give me a chance to explain to him that those noodles are not exactly noodles and are healthy to the kids. I didn't know what to do, so I just came out and went to the washroom crying. For once he can't understand me. I was crying in there. First Ahana came in and tried to soothe me and then after a few minutes, Icha came in.

"Ashni stop crying for that jerk." She said. I didn't say anything. For the first time. I felt like he is a jerk.

"And don't worry. I gave him a piece of mind and came." She added.

"What?" I asked. She explained what happened after I felt.

Okay, finally. At least he got to know the truth. I went back to my duty and was just trying to survive the day.

When I was attending a patient to give medicines and check her BP, Dr. Priyam came to me. 

I looked at him and didn't say anything, but he was giving me sympathy looks. 

"I am really sorry for what he did and said over there," he said. 

"Why are you apologizing? It is not your fault." I said. 

"Yes. But I am also responsible. I could have said something there, I should have." he said. 

"It's fine. No one can say anything when Mr. Rude is talking. " I said. He laughed at me. 

"Cool nickname. By the way, he will be coming to apologize, don't forgive him just like that," he said. I looked at him confused. 

"He should learn his lesson," He said and went. I also agree. Dr. Roshan should understand and learn a few things. 

And as Dr. Priyam said, Dr. Roshan was trying to talk to me. But I avoided him at all costs and even I went to report to him about a few patients, I kept it very professional and used to go away soon.

And in all this confusion, it was evening and I completed my duty and was about to leave. I went to the intern's room. And I couldn't find Anrag. Only Ahana was there. 

"Where is Anrag? and didn't you finish your duty?" I asked her. 

"Anrag left with Icha because they both were handling the same case and they took the patient to another hospital for an operation, he said to tell you to take a cab and that he is sorry. And I have an extra duty today," she said. So I wished her and left the hospital. I was waiting for a cab. But I couldn't get one. And a car came and stood in front of me. When I looked at the driver seat, it was Roshan. I looked away. He came out of the car. 

"Ashni, I am really sorry for what I did and what I said. Please let me apologize," he said. I didn't say anything. 

"Ashni, there is a reason why I yelled at you. Please let me explain," he said in a pleading tone. I looked at him. He was feeling sorry. 

"Okay. explain" I said. 

"What? Here, on the road. What are we animals?" He said. And I actually laughed at him. He smiled. 

"Can I treat you dinner for what I did?" He asked. I nodded and I went to the passenger side of the car, and he came behind me and opened the door like a gentleman. I got in. 

"There is my favorite restaurant. And I think it is your favorite too. Can we go there?" He asked. 

"How do you know about it?" I asked him confused. 

"I once saw you there with Anrag." He said. I nodded. 

"So Anrag and you are pretty close. ha??" He said. I sense jealousy in his tone. 

"Yeah. We grew up together. Our parents are friends and are a family. So practically we are like one family and would do anything for each other." I said. 

"Hmm" he said. I was about to laugh. But controlled me from laughing. 

"What happened?" I asked. 

"Nothing," he said. 

"We are just best friends. Nothing else." I said. For which he smiled to himself but I noticed it. 

We went to the restaurant and placed orders. 

"Okay, explain," I said. He was confused first, and then understood and started to explain. 

"Look, we are in a profession where even one small mistake destroys the entire career. And have seen such many things happening to my colleagues. You have a great doctor, a responsible and aspiring too. You will have a great career ahead. And I didn't want anything to jeopardize your career. And I love kids a lot. The thought of risking his health shocked me to the core. That's why I yelled at you and everyone else without actually thinking. I know It is my fault. I am really sorry. Next time, I won't yell at you without any reason. " He said. I looked at him.

"Are you apologizing for yelling at me today or in advance for yelling in the future? " I asked. He laughed. I love to see this side of him. 

Our order came and started to eat. We had conversations about random stuff, like movies, college life etc. And I really liked the fact that he is opening up to me. I was having a great time with him. 

As we finished eating, the waiter got the bill to us. 

"It's my treat," he said. And I said I would pay. And then we started to argue about it. 

"It is okay ma'am. You already treated sir once, let sir treat you once." the waiter said. We both were confused. 

"Do you remember last time, a customer left in hurry and didn't pay the bill, and you paid for them.?" He asked, I nodded.

"That was him," the waiter said. We looked at each other and laughed. I let him pay for the dinner and we left the restaurant. 

"I will drop you home," he said. I nodded at him. we started to drive and while we were on the way, it started to rain. 

"Stop, stop, stop," I said. He stopped the car with a jerk. '

"What happened?" he asked. 

"It's raining," I said with so much excitement. He looked at me as if I am crazy. 

"Let's get out and wet," I said and was about to open the door. He stopped me. 

"What? No, you will catch a cold," he said. 

"Life is very small. We need to enjoy every moment of it," I said and went out. 

I started to dance around and enjoy the rain, and when I looked around, Roshan is still in the car. I went to his side of the car, opened the door, and pulled him out. At first, he was reluctant but soon he too started to enjoy it. And again, I started to dance in the rain. He leaned on to the car and just kept staring at me. It's all wet and I lost balance and was about to fall but didn't. Roshan caught me and held me close to him. I just wanted the world to stop at the moment.
