Geography and Nature

Landscape
Pirate Cove is located on a hidden island known only to pirates and few others. It's a tropical island, thick with forests, two mountain points, and an uncharted cave system. It's surrounded by lush beaches. 

Climate/Weather
Sunny and breezy. Storms are common and reach the inland when larger. Some wonder if the Island is sentient as the darker weather tends to occur when darker things happen. 

Flora
Lots of tropical plants. Palm trees and coconuts. Some native magical plants (used in drinks at bars mostly). And some imported from other kingdoms. 

Fauna
Most are native to the island. There are some unique, colourful, hybrid looking species that people believe are descendants from fae creatures. The only non-native animals are pets kept by pirates. 

Population and Politics

The Council
4-6 members (2-3 ocs each if we vibe)
The council has fortnightly meetings to discuss the in's and out's of the cove, trades, business, laws, bounties, pirate mishaps and whereabouts, etc.

History and Conflicts
The cove itself doesn't have much conflict since it's well-hidden. Pirates themselves have plenty of conflict. Not all the council members can agree with one another. Bar brawls are popular. There are fights over rumoured treasures and real treasures. And each kingdom has different views on pirates - most aren't good. 

Economics and Resources
Stolen goods. The island can be self-sustaining, but with the nature of pirates they're always getting extras in precarious ways. The cove has a lot of natural food and fresh water. It's cave system is full of minerals and ores. There are some merchants on the island whose business focuses on such things. 

Hierarchy and Class
Nothing like the Kingdoms. The closest thing to a hierarchy would be the council members and pirate captains. But those positions are always earned and easily taken away if others see fit. 

Culture

Colours and Values
No set colours, but they do have insignia. It could be the classic skull and crossbones or variations of it. 
No official values to follow or uphold but most agree that the life of a pirate is one of fun, thrill-seeking, and adventure. 

Art and Entertainment
A lot of bars line the beaches of the Cove. There's definitely some more promiscuous businesses around - some have better management and treatment of work than others. Big on music and busking and drinking and dancing. 

Magic
All forms of magic are accepted. Any dangerous cases are taken to the council to be discussed. 

Fashion
More up to the individual and crews as opposed to the Cove as a whole. Comfortable and practical.
