The Spring Kingdom

Landscape:
- The lands are in a current state of spring time, so everything is usually in full bloom. At the beginning of the year it's early spring but during the middle of the year, everything reaches full bloom all at once. There's lots of valleys and greenery in the Spring Kingdom. The lands are extremely fertile, and just about any type of plant can grow in the Spring Kingdom.

Weather/Climate:
- The weather is only slightly cooler at the beginning of the year, but for the most part it's sunny all throughout the middle to the end of the year. There's no major storms or anything like that. When the winter spirit is the head of household, it does take longer for everything to be in full bloom though.

Flora/Fauna:
- Obviously there's lots of flowers throughout the entire kingdom. It's used in all their decorations, some stylistic choices, etc. Some flowers deeper in the woods of the kingdoms have magical properties to them, but people rarely venture all the way out there. Their most popular flowers are their roses that are grown specifically in the Spring Kingdom, all containing different magical properties.

Wildlife:
- There really isn't any harmful wildlife found in the Spring Kingdom. Almost every creature has been found to have some sort of flower part of them though. There's also rumors of fairies and other magical creatures in the deeper parts of the woods, but nothing to back them up.

Royals:
- Queen Marigold - Nicole Kidman
- King Florian - Mark Becher
- Esme - Emmy Rossum
- Anastasia - Vika Bronova
- Blanche - Carolina Porqueddu
- Poppy - Phoebe Dynevor
- Persephone - Kseniya Rain
- Has only been able to have daughters. They believe a woman can't rule alone (or at all really) and want a man to take the throne with them when they marry.
- Not sure if I actually want all the siblings, there's two more that I didn't make anything for. We'll see.
- Queen Marigold did sleep with a servant and have a child secretly and just gave the child away to avoid anyone ever knowing.

Kingdom Spirit:
Davina - Amita Suman
Davina is extremely sweet, and values love and honesty. When Spring is the Head of House, everything blooms early. Davina is obviously down in the mortal world though, and there's already info about her in the other chapter.

Hierarchy:
- There's very much so a class divide in the kingdom. The Spring Kingdom values appearances, so no one actually looks like they're struggling ever. There's the royals, les fleurs désirées, the upper class, and then the lower class.
- The upper class place is referred to as "The Garden" because they're considered more desirable than the lower class. Their villages are relatively forced to have no conflict and remain harmonious, as their version of "utopia". They don't have any real power, but they're given more than the lower class is.
- The lower class citizens are all cottage core esque. They're mostly farmers and gardeners. The lower class place is referred to as "The Weeds" but never to their faces. They're actually not doing horribly, but in terms of social status people don't really look at them highly.

History/Conflicts:
- The Spring Kingdom sided with the Dark Kingdom when the Light Kingdom and the Dark Kingdom were first feuding. The Light kingdom won, so they've been weak since. They're no longer allied with the Dark Kingdom technically, but with the rise of the Dark Kingdom there is the possibility that they'd rejoin allegiance again.
- The only people they've remained allied with consistently are the Fall Kingdom. Both kingdoms hold similar values which is why they've tried to arrange a marriage to truly secure the alliance.
- With both Esme and Anastasia having run away, the Spring Kingdom has not had as good of a reputation as they would've liked to have.

Economics/Resources:
- Their main source of money is from the farming and livestock that the lower class citizens have. They also tend to profit somewhat off of selling their flowers, and off of some of their more fashionable designs.

Culture:
- While they're not as misogynistic as the Fall Kingdom, they do still have some sexist views regarding women in the kingdom.
- Aesthetics are also valued highly here. People are meant to look happy and decent even when they're not feeling that way. Beauty isn't just expected, it's enforced.
- They don't have harsh punishments (mostly, sort of) but they do have eyes and ears pretty much everywhere, since people are always snitching on each other.

Les Fleurs Désirées
- When you're of age, you're presented to the queen and king. If you have proper etiquette, and are good looking, you sign a contract and become a member. Essentially, as a member, you have to teach all of the princesses royal etiquette. You have to follow the rules presented: You can't be in any sort of relationship (or sleep with anyone), you must have your face covered in public, no associating with the lower class, no leaving the castle, etc. If these rules are disobeyed, depending on which rule, the punishment is severe. For example, if you're caught in relation with anyone, then you'll be buried alive. So, fun.

The Fairy Grove
- Before the fae were kicked out of the overworld and everything, fairies and magical creatures were extremely common in the Spring Kingdom. Fairies were actually seen as partners of the Spring Kingdom. For the birth of each princess, she would be blessed with a power from a fairy. That's also why it's rumored that Persephone is not a true princess of the Spring Kingdom(if I include her still).
- After the fae were pretty much exiled, there was a small amount that stayed in the overworld. There's a group of fairies that remain in the woods of the Spring Kingdom, hidden away. They live in their own Fairy Grove. No one knows anything about them though.

Arts/Entertainment:
- Balls are the most common source of entertainment in the kingdom. However, that typically only involves the Royalty and Upper Class. They hold themed balls throughout the entire year. Some of the most important are the balls for the princesses when they turn of age, where suitors flock and try to gain their attention.
- Beauty pageants are a staple here as well as the Fall Kingdom. Except their beauty also includes showing off their graces and etiquette. The idea of perfection is praised.
- Lower classes have gardening competitions throughout the year. They have hedge sculpting competitions which are judged by royal officials. The winner gets to design the royal gardens for the year, which is always considered an honor. The winner also gets to help tend to the royal greenhouse, which is where the prized roses are grown.

First Bloom:
- In celebration of the first blooming of the flowers, a festival is hosted that everyone is allowed to attend to. It's about giving back to the earth, since they do actually value the environment. There's lots of drinking and picnics, and that night is a dance.

The Flower Parade:
- Something hosted for every class type. There's floats made by everyone that are paraded through both the upper class villages and the lower class ones. Royalty and Les Fleurs Désirées are required to participate.

Magic:
- Magic isn't as common anymore in the Spring Kingdom after the conflict with the Fae Realm. However, the most common types of magic found in the Spring Kingdom are plant manipulation and light magic.

Fashion:
- Royalty wears a lot of extremely gorgeous formal-wear. They're expected to look their best at all times, and the weather allows for them to wear more formal clothing throughout the year.
- Upper-class fashion is very elegant and formal. To separate themselves from the lower class, most of their fashion is more couture styled for them to look like actual flowers with "The Garden".
- Lower-class fashion is more cottage core styled. They have a simplistic style of fashion because of the class system. With the Spring Kingdom valuing beauty though, they still have to look aesthetically pleasing.
- Les Fleurs Désirées fashion involves a mix of royalty and upper class fashion. They're meant to be the pinnacle of beauty, but not outshine the royalty. All of the members are required to have their face fully covered, with the exception of their eyes.
- The Kingdom colors are pinks, purples, and greens.
