Shelby calm down, I'm sure he'll be here soon. He promised, as it is he already spent yesterday with Clementine, and now she's off on a plane. Just settle down, Myles is waiting for me. See you later my dear, and don't fret, he'll say yes.

[they hug and mom leaves, Shelby paces for a while until Arthur appears in a half suit coming through the garden gate]

I spent all day decorating, I hoped you'd like it.

Arthur

The scenery is amazing, but I was talking about you.

[Arthur wraps his arms around Shelby's waist and they kiss]

Shelby

I'm sorry everything has been so hectic,

Arthur

There's nothing you could've done to stop any of that from happening. You were with them, that's what matters most.

Shelby

And I know they won't like me to hold off my life, so before floods of mourners keep telling me to move on, I'm taking the first step.

I know we've been interrupted and there's been two prior attempts, but they do say third time's a charm.

[shelby gets down on her knees]

I'm sorry for running from you both times, but I want to be with you. Will you marry me?

[awkward pause]

Arthur

[pulls out his phone and starts playing music]
