Lance was sat at the end of a massive table, Keith by his side, Zarkon and Hagar at the other end.

"You wanted to see us, Sir?" Keith said, well, asked with an unsure tone. His messy bun still up from a few nights ago.

"Yes...this regards...your former..occupations." Zarkon said in his usual monotone and dead voice. "And that..other..paladin. Whatever their name was.."

"Yes Sir. What about them?" Keith asked, the same tone as last time, he didn't seem the slightest bit intimidated by Zarkons..well...Zarkon-ness.

"Well, If you can....I'd like those...lions, of yours. See if you can sill...connect to them. If not, don't worry....we still have that..other paladin. Get them to make their lion...submit. Lance..accompany Yorak to the cell of the...red..paladin, then go off and try and reconnect with that blue one..if not, don't worry. I'm sure you'll come up with...something." Zarkon said with a low chuckle at the end.

Keith and Lance both nodded, understanding what they needed to do. For their empire, their Emperor.

"You may leave." Zarkon said before turning to look at Haggar, to have a conversation with her.

"We won't let you down, Sir." Lance and Keith said in union before bringing a fist to their chest in salute and walking away.

Lance and Keith walked through countless hallways, turning countless corners until they arrived outside of a cell. They both looked at the silhouette of a person inside of the cell and sighed. Lances' ears twitching slightly as Keith whacked the bars of the cell with a bat

The figure flinched at the noise, shakily standing up before walking over into the light "W-what do you want..?" Teal said with a glare, trying to act all tough when in reality she was terrified.

"Well, hello to you too" Lance said sarcastically with a snarl "And seeming you asked we want you to try and summon the red lion, bring her here." His voice was cold and serious, not a single hint of the 'old' Lance in it.

Teal looked at them both in disbelief, chuckling slightly "B-bring you Flame? Please..Even if I did try- it's not like sh- it's not like Flame is stupid enough to come." Keith chuckled at her words, deciding to try another tactic. "Red, is a loyal lion. If she knows her paladin is calling her she'll come. Just like the rest of the lions. There's another reason why you're refusing to call her...isn't there? You don't exactly have the personality that she'd chose.." He said with a smirk, purposely trying to make her tic.

She snapped, going to strike at Keith and Lance but the joint cuffs around her wrists prevented her, making her fall backwards and hit the wall as blood started to seep out of her wrists. Teal hissed out of pain as Lance and Keith chuckled, the both of them looking down at her in pity.

"So I was right?~" Keith said with a chuckle "Red doesn't like you! I mean- it's not new. But the question is...Does she still like me?" Lance raised an eyebrow before nodding at Keith "Well, Yorak. You can have fun with....Teal. I'm going to go and see if I can still summon Blue. I'll meet you back in our room once I'm done." Lance said as he went to walk away

Keith quickly hugged him, kissing his cheek and whispering "Good luck" as Lance walked away before bringing his attention back over to Teal. "Now. Would you like to help us or be against us? It's up to you. Just know that those cuffs around your neck, ankles and wrists are going to get tighter by the hour until they cut each of their respected limbs off~"

Teals eyes widened in fear as she listened to Keith, swallowing the lump in her throat as she tried to speak but got interrupted before she could start "I'll give you a minuet or so to think about it. We're not in any rush..well..at least I'm not~" He said with a chuckle as he stood by the side of the cell.

After a while of waiting, Teal eventually regained the strength to stand up. She cleared her throat before speaking, Keiths attention quickly being drawn to her "I.."

I'M SO SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT GUYS, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT A FEW OF YOU ACTUALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK SO I'M GOING TO TRY MY BEST TO GET BACK ON TRACK AND UPLOAD REGULARLY OR AT LEAST WHEN I CAN!! The updates wont be as frequent as I'd like but I'm going to try my best into getting into the habit of writing daily and in my free time. Thanks to those who have stuck around all this time and to those that favourite and comment on my publishes, you guys really help me get inspiration and motivation to post <3
