-Before the Balmera-

-With the Paladins and Krolia-

The paladins were gathered around on the bridge as Krolia stood there with Romelle, she had gotten back from that weird Altean colony that Lotor made and she had some important news to share.

"Lance and Keith are WHAT?!" Allura yelled angrily. She thought she had gotten rid of that useless teen and galra.

"Yes...When I went to find the source of the quintessence I had to go through a quantum abyss and I saw glimpses of the future....the universes future...their future. Together and most definitely alive."

"Wait...how is this a bad thing? They're alive what's so bad about it?" Pidge asked curiously as she pushed up her glasses.

Krolia just sighed looking at Romelle, (she saw on the way back) she just nodded a bit shaken up from everything she saw.

"Th-they were destroying planets...Yor-Keith was fully Galra, whilst Lance...he- he had galra parts...like ears, eyes, marks. But he still had some human skin...like he'd been torn apart, then put back together..." The thought of what Lance might've gone through went through Krolias mind making her shiver.

Teal was about to ask Krolia something before getting interrupted by someone...laughing?

Everyone turned their attention to Allura, she was...laughing?! You could hear a scoff, followed by a few chuckles before Pidge spoke up. "Allura?! Why are you laughing at this?! I don't see what could be so funny about Lance getting tortured?!" She growled glaring at her.

"N-nothing, just that Keith and Lance-" she cut herself off by snorting before continuing "Destroying planets?! Lance is too self centered to even notice other planets. Plus, why'd he destroy the planet when he can flirt with all the inhabitants instead! And Keith?" she laughed historically "He's the what you call 'emo loner', if he couldn't lead Voltron, what makes you think he can lead armies to destroy planets, and with Lance of all people!" Krolia and Pidge looked more than pissed, whilst Hunk, Coran, Shiro and Romelle decides to stay out of it.

"I just say she's trying to food us. Keith and Lance does on that ship. We've barely gotten over it so could you n-"

"How DARE you speak of them that way!" Krolia cut her off with a growl

"Both of them are strong and brave soldiers! And right now Keith is fighting to keep Lance alive whilst he's on his dead bed, god knows what they're doing or what they've done to him! Just imagine the things Keith is forced to do so his boyfriend has a chance at living!" she growled at Allura, hatred in her eyes.

"Haggar she's- she's going to break them. Both of them. She's going to break Keith first, so that when Lance wakes up it will be easier to break him seeming his boyfriend is already working for them."(or does she? ;) ) "and judging by what I saw with Romelle...we haven't got long."

Teal eventually spoke up, dry tear marks down her cheeks, she had become a paladin two days after Lance and Keith 'died'  "When...when did they dissapear?"

Allura stepped in, a stern look on her face "two days before you arrived."

Pidge steppes in, knowing what Allura would say "Their lions stopped responding, their lions stopped responding so we just assumed they were dead, and their coms and trackers stopped working, so we couldn't exactally look for them.." Pidge sounded disappointed in herself that she couldn't do more

"We thought the explotion fried their suits...and them." Pidge stopped herself from saying anymore, instead focusing on the tears that were threatening to spill.

"Krolia, how long do you think we have until they're both corrupted, or as you said, broken?" Teal asked, worried for the former paladins.

"I'm not completely sure, but I know we haven't got long." Teal nodded in response before speaking, she may be a new paladin but she refuses to take anyone's shit.

"Anyways. I know everyone is sad about what happened but we are the paladins of Voltron. They are your-" she motioned to everyone but Allura,

"-friends. And we need to help them. We need to prevent whatever happens to Lanxe so Keith will see that they can't control him with Lances' fate anymore-"

Allura interrupted, her face blank. "And what if he's doing it willingly?"

Heyo! Sorry for the long wait xD it's my brothers and my dad's birthday so everything's a little hectic and I haven't had any time to update, anyways, here! And I'm working on some video edits that I'll post on my blog once I remember the password lmao.
