One
Prologue
Evan Laid on his bed; starring at the ceiling of his room. Old decaying plastic glow stars stuck to it. They still had a slight glow; his father put them up as a goodbye to Evan. Evan had just thought it was something like a business trip. He was painfully wrong. That was when he was seven.
Connor sat at his desk he got when he started highschool. That was before he became the 'druggie' and the 'school shooter'. He honestly never did drugs a lot. The looked up at his wall; it was covered in drawings that he drew.
They didn't know what the future held for them.
Evan
Evan walked into the computer lab during his break. He sat at a computer and logged in, and started his letter that he had to write to himself. He started. "Dear, Evan Hansen.."
Connor
Connor sat in the Connor of the computer lab, having his earbuds in his ears he didn't hear Evan walk in. He continued to do whatever he was doing on the computer, he took out his buds when he saw his phone was at 20%; he silently cursed it out and paused the song, and then he hear the printer go off and saw that Evan was in there. Of course he didn't know the smaller boys name yet. He grabbed the paper off of the printer and walked up to Evan,
"What happened to your arm?"
Evan jumped slightly, whipping his head to see Connor. "I- uh- I fell o-out of a-a tree" his voice hushed into a whisper as he reached the end of his sentence. Connor nodded (it autocorrected to noodles-)
His head. "My god that's very fucking sad" he thought to himself; not wanting to swear at that time.
"Can I sign it?"
"Oh- you d-don't ne-need to- I-I n-"
"Sharpie?"
Evan took the sharpie out of his pocket that his mom gave him and handed it to con; hands shaking slightly. Connor grabbed it and grabbed Evans arm, Evan winced and said a quick and quiet 'Ow'. Connor glanced up to see if he was ok before writing his name in large letters; not leaving any room for any names on the front.
Evan said a quick thanks before getting his bag and he turned the computer off and started to the door. "Is this yours?" Evan turned his head and saw the paper,
Evan nodded and reached for it, and grabbing it before Connor could read it. He ran out as the bell for rang, signaling that school was over. Connor felt his heart flutter as he recalled the interaction with Evan.
Connor laid in his bed, staring at the ceiling thinking about that day.
He was snapped out of his daze when his sister banged on his door; "CONNOR GET YOUR ASS DOWN FOR DINNER- MOM WONT LET US EAT WITHOUT YOU S0 HURRY THE FUCK UP-"
"FUCK YOU-" he yelled back, before getting up and going down. He sat at the table, and everyone stared at him; with a slightly sad and disappointed look in there eyes. Except for Zoe, she was just glaring with a smirk.
