My life was so beautiful until that night ten years ago. That night that turned my life upside down. Maybe I should rewind a bit. I had the best life any child could wish for, lovely parents, many toys, nice house and everything was so lovely. Well until March 17th 2000, when life took a different turn for me. Every normal child in Houston, loves to go on a ride with his/her parents. I was not an exception. In fact, I loved driving around with my parents every Saturday evening, counting the number of tall buildings and wishing I was living in one of them. I was out with my parents as usual when it happened. My dad was driving at 150km/hr and we knew it was risky but it was fun. After all, the cars on the road were few. I don't know exactly how it happened but a truck carrying drinks hit our car and that sent the car somersaulting, it was like our car was under the truck but I don't remember seeing anything after the car somersaulted. My dad died on the spot, my mum and I survived but we were unconscious for a couple of months. Actually the happy, lovely woman I knew as my mother, died that day.
