"I missed you" Sammy hugged Inaaya, "Even I miss you, now let me breathe" Inaaya said trying to come out her best friends hug. "Not my mistake, I just tried to show how much I missed you" Sammy said smiling sheepishly. 

"Liar!" Inaaya said hitting her, "I am saying truth" Sammy defended. "That is why you came to meet me now, I came back just now na" Inaaya said sarcastically. "I know its more than a year but I was busy. Instead of blaming me you should have come to meet me" Sammy argued. "Oh I am free! I have nothing better to do. You are saying as if I am killing mosquitoes here" Inaaya rolled her eyes.

"Both of you were busy, now stop fighting like kids" Shitija silenced both of them. "Thank you aunty! Your daughter will keep on fighting if you did not stop" Sammy winked. "I fight with equals" Inaaya said crossing her hands which meant end of this discussion.

Both of them spent whole day teasing each other and cracking jokes, when two friends meet after a long time the time just flies away. "I am going for walk" Shitija went with her friend after blessing Sammy. "I think I too should leave" Sammy said later.

Before Inaaya could stop her she got busy with a call from her office. "I think it is important call" Ram said to Sammy, "I know uncle otherwise she will not ditch me like this" Sammy said smiling. "Uncle! If I ask you a question will you answer me honestly?" Sammy asked with a hope that he says yes. Just then Inaaya finished her work but stopped hearing this.

"You need not take permission, Go on" Ram said cheerfully, "Why did you not approve Inaaya and Daksh's relation?" she asked fidgeting with her hands. Her question made Ram pale, he did not answer her nor shouted at her. "We all know how much you love Inaaya, you always want her happiness. Then why did you not let her have love in her life?" Sammy accused.

"You are right Samhitha, I love my daughter very much but I cannot loose my wife for her" he said making Sammy shocked. "Shitija would have killed herself if I approved their relation, love marriages are not suitable in our family. Shitija's sister suffered a lot unlike others who did arranged marriage. Even I lost my cousin, my only sister because of this" Ram explained.

"It depend on fate uncle, You cannot blame love marriages" Sammy said in high pitch, "I agree dear, when Inaaya told me about this I was not in a position to think positively about it. I understood later how much hurt she is. . " he stopped thinking about his daughter's condition almost four years before. 

"I am glad that I did not accept their relation, Daksh is not right for my daughter" Ram said confidently, "How can you say that?" Sammy asked with a frown. "Daksh did not try to come and talk with me, leave about me he did not even turn back to check how is the girl whom he loved"  . . "Daksh is man of his words" Sammy said sternly making Ram stop in between.

"Ok! Even Inaaya did not try to contact him till she completed her graduation, so I can understand his feelings. What about the humiliation my daughter faced when she went to his home?" Ram asked Sammy but Inaaya who is listening to all this got shocked. "How did he know this?" she wondered.

"Her parents cursed her for playing with their son's emotions, they have not seen Inaaya's pain" Ram said with wet eyes. "You cannot blame Daksh for what his parents did" Sammy tried to defend Daksh. "Daksh was at home when this happened" Ram said making Inaaya and Sammy shocked. "The sad thing is Inaaya did not know this, Do you know why Inaaya went to that particular university?" Ram questioned.

"She got seat in it so. . " Sammy guessed, "No! Inaaya knows that Daksh is working in that city, so she chose that place to win her love back. I have sent her to achieve all her dreams knowing how much she loves Daksh" Ram explained Inaaya's mission.

"Inaaya tried to contact him in all possible ways but seems like he closed all the ways deliberately. My daughter never told me in detail how much she worked but her painful voice on the other side of the phone was enough for me to decipher what could have happened" he said with heavy heart. 

"I did not know all this" Sammy said in low tone, "No problem Samhitha, I just want you and Inaaya be happy in your life" Ram said ruffling her hair. "Uncle! I want to make a confession" Sammy said with a sad face and Ram nodded.

"I am in contact with Daksh, not only in contact but I worked with him too" Sammy said looking at the floor. Ram did not know what to say and even with Inaaya it is the same. "Never mind, It is getting late and you should start" Ram sent her and came inside to see Inaaya staring at him.

"Dad our mission was a flop even after my best efforts" Inaaya said with a pout, "And my daughter is saying about if after these many months" Ram said in a serious tone. "What will I say? Dad! I lost Daksh and cried over phone?" Inaaya said shaking her head. "I know you are more better" Ram said smugly.

"Daksh is not suitable for me, I need commitment for long time not someone who would leave me when I am drowned in problems" Inaaya said in a strong tone. "He would have never left you if I accepted him before" Ram said in guilt. "No dad! He only told me to choose you when I have to select between you or him. Then he threw all the blame on me and you, nice way to escape from being blamed and gaining sympathy" Inaaya said with a faint smile.

"Are you fine? You need not say all this to make me feel good" Ram said, "This is the truth and I am over him" Inaaya said with a true smile making her father feel happy. "You can start searching for your son if you want to kick me out of home" She teased. "Even I will come along with you" he said pulling her cheeks. "Great idea" Inaaya gave a thumbs up.

"I never knew you will search a suitable guy for me this early" Inaaya whined, "I am doing it from six months and you are saying it is early" Shitija said in hurt voice. "Mom! How many times did I come to India while doing my post graduation?" Inaaya asked getting ready but Ram knew what is coming.

"Inaaya! You should get ready first" Ram tried to divert topic, "You came once" Shitija said sadly. "No! I came twice, for Yashitha's wedding" Inaaya said before Ram could stop her. "I told you no need to attend it, you never respect my words. Wait! Your dad knows this right?" Shitija asked skeptically. Ram ran into his room before his wife attacks him and Shitija went after him fuming for hiding it from her.

"Nivaan did not have sisters and he treats Inaaya like his own sister. Ouch! Stop hitting me" Inaaya heard Ram's voice, she felt bad for her dad but she needed some entertainment as she was tensed. Yes! Tensed because a guy and his family are coming to meet her, if everything goes well they can be her future family and this thought scared her more.

"Yashitha and Inaaya are friends from childhood, how can you say like that. Yashitha got married with her parents permission, now stop all this . .. " She heard her dad explaining and got relieved as there were no sounds sticks and vessels from their room.

Inaaya sat beside her father playing with her fingers while her parents were talking with the guy's family. "You are so beautiful Inaaya" she looked up hearing her voice, "Thank you" Inaaya said with a shy smile. "You need not feel shy, I am just like your friend" that guy's mother said making Inaaya surprised. 

"He is my husband" she introduced and Inaaya took his blessings, after she sat in her place "He is my son Aarav" she said and Inaaya looked at him. "He is handsome but looking mysterious" she thought.

"If you like my son then my wife will be your best friend and I will be like your father" Aarav's father said and all elders laughed. She looked at Aarav and at the same time he too did the same. Their eyes met for a second and both of them averted their gaze.

"Aarav" Inaaya said to herself, maybe to register the name in her heart.
