Dan saw his best friend pacing before him and sat there enjoying his state. "Bro! Instead of worrying and practicing before me, Why dont you to propose her directly" Dan suggested. "What if I loose her" Daksh said seriously.

"As if she is not avoiding you now" Dan said the truth, "Yes! But if I confess and she avoids me then I cannot bear. As of now we can continue as friends" Daksh said.

"Inaaya is very sweet and beautiful too, You should act before someone else takes her" Dan said to convince Daksh. "You are right but" he stopped. "Do not worry, if she does not accept you then I will make her fall for you and that is a promise" Dan assured.

"I do not want to force her, she should feel the same way I feel otherwise there is no future for r our relation" Daksh explained. "So you want a natural fall instead of artificial fall?" Dan asked with quirked brows.

"What?" Daksh said not knowing what Dan was hinting on, "Nothing! I will help you  but only if you really want this" Dan offered and Daksh accepted knowing his friend well.

Next day Daksh waited for Inaaya near library knowing she will come there daily. He saw her coming towards him and he took deep breathes to calm his nerves. "Hey Daksh!" Inaaya greeted him, "Inaaya I want to talk with you" he said gaining all his strength.

"I am busy Daksh, Sammy is on leave for few days. So I am writing her assignments too" Inaaya said and left in hurry. "What happened?" Dan asked seeing her leave, "See I told you she is avoiding me" Daksh left with a sad face and Dan started working on his plans.

"Inaaya! Will you perform for our college day?" Dan questioned her holding a notepad, "I am not a good dancer" Inaaya said smiling sheepishly. "Oh! Daksh said you will dance, I think he wanted you to see dancing" Dan said casually. "Daksh said that?" Inaaya got shocked and Dan nodded.

"Ok then I will but suggest me some songs" Inaaya said immediately and Dan grinned as he hit the bulls eye perfectly. He explained Daksh how Inaaya accepted to take part for him and encouraged him to express his love.

"Inaaya" Daksh shouted seeing her leaving their block, she smiled and waved at him. "Can we talk?" he asked and she sat on the near by bench. "I hope you will not take it wrong and our relation will stay like this" he said making her frown. "Ok! Do not panic on hearing my words" he said before she can question him and she nodded. 

"I love you and I want you to be my partner whom I can love all my life" he said sitting on his knees and holding her hand. "Daksh! About whole life you should ask my parents" she said and he kept on staring at her. "I love you too" she added and he gave her his brightest smile.

"I thought you will reject me" he said sitting beside her, "I should have done that" she said making him worried. "Why do you think so?" he asked, "Because you thought so" she said shaking her head. "I really missed you so much" he said and waited to listen same from her.

"I did not miss you as I was stalking on you" she said proudly, "Stalking and you?" he asked in disbelief. "Yes! I used to look at you when you are playing basket ball from far" she said looking at him. "I used to search for you but never noticed" he said sadly. "Because you play with so much dedication and I used to wait for you in the library" she said.

"Library? No way. I used to come and wait for you and I even checked the register" Daksh commented not believing Inaaya' words. "I used to come before usual time and sit in the corner staring at you" Inaaya explained. "Oh! I checked people who came after me and not before me" he smacked his head making Inaaya chuckle. 

"Do you really want me to perform on our college day?" Inaaya inquired, "Yes dear! Next year is the last year for us and we will be busy in campus drives. So I want to enjoy maximum this time, I know that you dance well" Daksh said and side hugged her before leaving.

"Inaaya! Dan sir sent this for you" her classmate gave her a flash-drive, she checked it at night and got frustrated. "Dan! I am a classical dancer and you want me to perform for this song?" she asked in disbelief. "We have other trained and better classical dancers, so you have to do this" he said in finality. "Anyway everyone will not perform, we have auditions before that" he added.

"Inaaya! Go and practice instead of fighting with him" Sana another organiser suggested. "Sana Mam! How can I perform alone on a duet?" Inaaya asked making her shocked. "You have to, Sana come with me" Dan left saying that.

Inaaya worked hard to compose steps and practiced well, she came to know that there were no auditions due to lack of time and they should perform directly. On the day of college day she reached early in the morning along with Sammy, there were many people near the auditorium as the organisers arranged a meeting. 

Dan and Sana were giving instructions to all the performers, they allocated time for all the singers, role play and other acts. All people who were related to dance remained confused as their slots were not mentioned, "I know you all are worried but I am sorry to inform that all of you cannot perform" Dan said in sad tone. 

"We selected only few and you people can do any adjustments needed" Sana said, Few people decided to perform groups so that maximum of them get chance to show their talent. "I just hope you are selected" Sammy said in low voice. "There are  two more spots left" Dan said and Sammy started praying. 

They announce some other name and Sammy, Inaaya felt bad and started to leave, "Hey! Still there is one more spot" someone stopped cheering for them. "We know it will be Daksh" they both said at a time. When Dan was about to say next name everyone started chanting Daksh's name and clapping for him. 

"Its Daksh" Dan said and gave an apologetic smile to Inaaya, "and Inaaya can join him" he added with a smirk making her shocked. Daksh signed her to come and they agreed to perform together.

"I am not going to change any of my steps" Inaaya declared, "Then how can we perform together?" he sighed. "Ok let me show my steps" she came to the center and started dancing. "Amazing! The way you blended classical with other moves made it more special" Daksh appreciated and they both rehearsed together.

In the evening, Daksh and Inaaya collected their trophies for their academic excellence and cheered for all other performances. Sana and Dan announced their names making their friends shout for them. 

The whole auditorium echoed with claps and whistles after their performance and they moved out along with Sammy. "You guys set the stage on fire" she complimented, "Hey love birds" Dan joined hugging them. "Now I understood why you gave duet song before" Inaaya said smiling and he raised his collar. 

"Love birds?" Sammy questioned, "You did not know!" Dan got surprised that she does not know. "Tit for tat Sammy" Inaaya said making her pout , they all enjoyed and reached home with lots of good memories.
