The next day Kisuke had all us in the squad gather again "Uhm so i'd like to thank you all personally for helping me move into our barracks yesterday, i know that i had a lot of things but i was able to fit them all into my captain's quarters"Kisuke said.

Ah so he just wanted to thank us"Have you lost it? How did all that stuff fit?" Hiyori asked clearly surprised, i wasn't since i helped him move all of his stuff into his room.

"It all fit in perfectly, wanna come and see?"Kisuke asked turning to the lieutenant "As if it could"she scoffed, then Kisuke went to say something else but was trailing off with uh's and's, i giggled a bit it was kinda cute watching those two argue.

But ultimately Kisuke forgot what he was about to say, i giggled again it's only been two days but even during that short amount of time i have found Kisuke to be quite interesting.

"Oh right now i remember, i wanted to lay out what would now be the objectives for squad twelve i thought about it all night i really considered what it is we should stand for"Kisuke said and trailed off at the end.

I wondered what he would say "I have to admit i'm still thinking"he said with a small chuckle, i giggled a bit in response "Well anyway i still have lots of things in boxes so i should get to unpacking i thank you all for giving me more time"Kisuke said.

Before Hiyori kicked him and yelled at him and then left with a huff, i walked over to Kisuke "That one looked like it hurt you alright captain?"i asked helping him up "Oh it was nothing i can't handle"he said waving it off cleaning the blood before going back to unpacking.

While he went to do that i went to familiarize myself to my new duties as the third seat, i mostly double checked and delivered paperwork but since today was only the second day we had a new captain there wasn't much of that so after doing the little work there was, i went outside to train for a bit before just relaxing.

I smiled watching the clouds "What a beautiful day"i said to myself "You got that right, nice and sunny"i heard from next to me and turned over to see Kisuke "Already done unpacking?"i asked "No there's still a few boxes but it's important to relax"he said.

I giggled a bit "In other words you're procrastinating"i said smiling over to him, he smiled back before turning to the clouds "Tell me something i recall lieutenant Hiyori saying you're not the friendliest person"he said "That's right"I nodded turning to watch the clouds as well.

"I prefer keeping to myself, i don't have many friends here in the squad or even from back in my academy days, it's just people never bothered talking to me so i didn't bother them either, so i build up a wall i guess, i don't mind you though"i said turning to face Kisuke again who was already facing back.

A silence fell over us as i got lost in his grey eyes, i noticed he began leaning towards me and i flushed but stayed put when "Hey you!"the lieutenants voice broke us out of the trance and we looked over.

"Ah, hello"Kisuke casually greeted her i just silently watched "Not hello, what are you doing just sitting around?"the lieutenant asked growling under her breath "Well i was uh, i was relaxing and enjoying the peace such serenity is a special treat"Kisuke said being totally aloof about it.

"You were just sitting here, spacing out and being lazy weren't you, you idiot?!"the lieutenant said insulting Kisuke but he wasn't fazed by it "Well i was feeling relaxed and i uh"he was cut off as the lieutenant turned to me.

"And you! Don't you have work to do? This idiot's hang loose attitude is contagious and it's affected you hasn't it?!"she asked "There wasn't much work since our captain is fairly new so i finished it up quickly so i decided to relax after getting them done" i told her.

"Indeed in the course of a lifetime relaxing moments like this are very important, they sooth the mind and recharge us"Kisuke said agreeing that it didn't hurt to relax every once in a while.

Come to think of it i've never seen the lieutenant just relaxing, no wonder she's so tense and snappy "You're so relaxed you don't know up from down! If you keep this out our squad will be known as the place where the lazy losers hang out" the lieutenant said.

"I've made it pretty clear i personally don't accept you as the captain of our squad and yet if there's someone inside you that gets angry if squad twelve gets criticised then now's the time show me what you got!" she added challenging Kisuke and drawing her zanpakuto.

"Very well"Kisuke said, i could hear a sigh in his tone, i was surprised he decided to take on the lieutenants challenge "However let's spar barehanded, that's whats best and it's fair"Kisuke said standing up.

"There's no need to use our zanpakuto's" Kisuke said, i decided to stick around and watched as the two moved over to the field, this could turn interesting, i watched as lieutenant Hiyori charged going for a dive bomb kick to the face i saw Kisuke move out of the way before moving back in at the last minute.

I went over to Kisuke "Why did you just take it?"i asked helping him up "Oh you spotted that?"Kisuke asked brushing off dirt from his clothes i just nodded "I didn't want to humiliate her"he simply said "If you say so"I said shrugging a bit.

It was night, i couldn't get any sleep thinking back to earlier today specifically that moment and more about Kisuke, i felt something towards him that much was clear but i just couldn't place it, it couldn't be love, love at first sight is just a silly fantasy and yet.

I sighed getting out of bed and decided to walk around the barracks to clear my head, after a while i spotted Kisuke talking with captain Hirako i couldn't hear what they were talking about but it didn't matter.

I stayed back until captain Hirako left, just then i continued walking over and sat next to Kisuke "Hi there"i said "Hello"he smiled turning to me "Couldn't sleep?"he asked "Nope, i was just couldn't stop thinking about stuff"i said looking away flushing a bit.

Then it was clear this love at first sight was mutual, well i wasn't sure it was love but it was clear i felt something towards Yuina and she felt something towards me as well.

"I see, wanna talk about it?"i asked watching her, her face was totally flushed and i felt myself flush too, she was cute with her face flushed like that, "Well do you believe in love at first sight?"she asked.

"I think if you think the other is attractive upon first sight you'll gain an interest that'll prompt you to ask the other out on a date and get to know them more and form a feeling called love" i told her.

I giggled a bit "So in other words you don't believe in it"i said, he chuckled smiling a bit "Yeah, i don't believe in it"he said "But you are somehow different, when i first saw you i felt something, i'm not sure what that is but i'd like to know more about it and you, so when you're free would you like to go on a date?"he asked.

I felt my whole face flush "I believe i feel that same something so i'd love to go out with you"i managed to say with out stuttering, Kisuke smiled as he got up "Good then i'll see you tomorrow"he said before leaving.
