~Kisuke~

I went to check with the others if Hiyori had left already which she had, damn it i knew i should of gone, regardless i ran to squad one barracks where the emergency meeting was held in the usual spot.

I somehow managed to be late despite leaving early, i managed to catch the last bit of what head captain Yamamoto was saying as i ran inside the meeting place "You are late captain Urahara"the head captain scolded as i caught my breath a little.

"Let me sir, please sir let me go there"I said no i begged i needed to see if Hiyori was in trouble but the head captain denied my request "I have to go my second in command is already heading there, i should-"i was cut off by Yoruichi calling my name.

"Just control yourself, you're making a scene, you're the who made the choice to send her out there can't you see that you begging to go there is an insult to her abilities?"she asked me, i could see that but i was worried regardless.

Captain Kyoraku walked over and pulled me in line but spaced out for the rest of it still worried about Hiyori, i just had a feeling something was very wrong here or that something bad could happen.

"She'll be fine"i heard snapping out of my thoughts, it was captain Kyoraku "That Hiyori is a strong one, though she's not quite as strong as my little Lisa don't give into worry, it's a captains job to have faith and patiently wait"he told me as he walked away, with that i also walked away but my mind was still swimming with countless thoughts, arriving at squad twelve barracks i walked straight to my room.

~Yuina~

I spotted Kisuke as he walked back from the emergency meeting, he had that look on his face, the same one he gets when he's deep in thought, i didn't wanna interrupt but something was clearly bothering him.

I saw him go straight into his room, i waited for a bit before going over and knocking on his door "Kisuke it's Yuina"i said and the door opened with Kisuke looking at me, i looked back and in his eyes i could tell he was worried, most likely about Hiyori.

"Yuina i-"i didn't let him say anymore as i pulled him in for a hug, he stiffened for a bit before relaxing and returning my hug, i pulled away after a while "Feeling better?"i asked, he nodded "Yeah"he said before pulling me in his room and closing the door, i guess he just needed some company.

So there i sat in his lap leaning against his chest as he was leaning back in his chair just thinking, i drew random patterns on his chest with my fingers thinking about stuff as well, some girl came by and said she was leaving just then it seemed Kisuke decided something as he gently got me off his lap before standing up.

I could tell from his determined look that he definitely had decided something "Kisuke?"I asked "Just stay here, i'll be back"he said before kissing me lingering on it a little longer then usual before leaving, i figured he decided to go after Hiyori to help her so i decided to stay here.

I got out the robe that i created, it was designed to completely mask someone's spiritual energy, i was just heading out when Tessai caught me "Creating a coat that has the power to completely shut out spiritual pressure is far beyond an ordinary accomplishment"he said.

"Well that's a shame i guess you saw me anyway"i said "You're going to try rescue her aren't you? Your lieutenant"Tessai said but i didn't reply even though i was caught red handed.

"I saw how you were at the captains meeting, from that moment on i had a hunch you'd be leaving to help her"Tessai said "Well you do know me"i replied wondering if he would report this, i wasn't given any orders not to go after Hiyori but sneaking out like this definitely isn't good either.

"We share some history form all the time we spent together at lady Yoruichi's mansion, how could you think that i wouldn't catch on to what you had in mind?"Tessai asked "So then will you let me go?"i asked, i didn't want to fight my way through but if it came to that i would not have a choice.

"I find that question unreasonable, i will not let you go not alone"Tessai said, i was surprised "Like you tonight my mind kept gnawing at me a feeling of fear beyond all words, come along let us rush there together under the cover of darkness"Tessai said extending a hand.

I thought about Yuina, two years into our relationship we promised to make a point of always getting a kiss before either one of us left on a mission, it was a promise we'd come back, Yuina i'm sorry but i don't think i'll be able to return this time, with that last thought i shook Tessai's hand and we left.
