Kick Thirty Two: It's time for battle
Previously on FPG:

Lucy and Mira comforted Juvia, sitting next to her and patting her back. "It'll be okay Juv."

"How? Gray won't want me when he finds out I was raped! He'll think I'm disgusting!" Juvia wailed.

"No he won't. I promise." Lucy hugged Juvia, "Because Gray isn't that person."

Natsu, Gray, and Gajeel stomped off the bus, their heavy metal boots echoing. Sting and Rogue followed them off, all of them huffing at the sight they saw. A whole group of soldiers were being armed with bags and guns, explosives and heavy padding.

"So much for training," Sting scoffed, the others nodding in agreement.

"We should go check in then?" Natsu asked, his hand rubbing his small remnants of hair.

"Hey bro, your hair is starting to grow back," Gajeel chuckled.

"Yours is too Gaj," Gray remarked, "Mine too!"

Gray smiled as he started to pet his hair in an awkward manor, well, he didn't think it was awkward, different story for the others though.

Rogue cringed, "Hey Natsu,"

Natsu glared at him, "What?"

"I just wanted to say sorry man, I was having a rough day. Kagura's pregnant without me to be there." Rogue explained.

"Yeah, well my--" He cut himself off roughly, "Let's go inform them of our arrival."

Gajeel and Gray shook their heads. "Natsu and I had to break it off with our girls before we left."

Gray sighed, "Well, you did it for their happiness."

They all followed Natsu shortly after. Guns, explosives, med kits, and extra padding was shoved into their arms. "Are we gonna fight?"

"Sir, yes sir!"

"Louder men!"

"SIR, YES SIR!"

"I know it's rough knowing your lives could be at stake here, but we're all gonna try to get on home, right?"

"SIR, YES SIR!"

"Squad one, go to helicopter one." Squad one started on their way to the helicopter.

"Squad two!"

As they kept going on and on, it eventually came time for Natsu's squad to go. They didn't say anything. They dropped their personal belongings on the ground, Natsu pulling five things from his bag.

"Gray, Gajeel." Natsu said entering the helicopter.

"Yeah bro?"

"Here," Natsu placed one picture in each of their hands.

Gray and Gajeel looked at their hands, seeing photos. Gray's had him and Juvia wearing matching nerd costumes on Halloween. Gajeel's had him sitting in the library with Levy on his shoulders as she yelled at him to put her down. Natsu looked at the three things he had for himself. A picture of him kissing Lucy, her letter, and a picture of Wendy, Grandine, Igneel, Zeref, Lucy's family, and Lucy herself all together.

"Where'd you get these Natsu?" Gray asked, his thumb gently rubbing on Juvia's face.

"Where do you think?" He asked sarcastically.

"Mira," Gajeel shook his head, laughing bitterly, "I miss Levy so damn much, and if I can't get home to her, you tell that shrimp I love her with all my heart..."

"We won't have to damn it!" Natsu barked, "We will make it back! There's no way I'm dying before I see Luce again, and you two aren't  either until you get old as hell in a senior retirement home with Juvia and Levy!"

Gray and Gajeel nodded, going back to look at their pictures. Sting and Rogue were silent sitting next to Natsu. Natsu unfolded the letter from Lucy.

Dear Natsu, 
How could you do this!? I love you so much! I can't ever be happy without you, you know that! Please, please, please, come back home when you have the chance. I miss you, we all do. I've been having nightmares. It's about you passing away, and I can't seem to shake off the feeling of them. I've been awake for days, not wanting to see that nightmare again. Hell, Levy hasn't slept either, she looks horrible. Her hair's a mess, she has bags under her eyes, and to add onto her eyes, their so irritated and red from crying. I don't know why you and Gajeel thought it was smart, if anything, we miss you like you wouldn't believe. Anyways, Juvia's acting strange, she keeps eating lots and having random outbursts, I don't know why, if anything, I'd have to guess it's because of you three leaving. Guess I won't know for a while, huh? Well, Mira, Juvia, and I are leaving for Harvard in a few days, so we'll see you in five years once you step off that Magnolia train, right?

Natsu smiled, tucking the letter into his pocket. He looked at the picture of Lucy, bringing it to his lips. He kissed the picture gently, then put it back in his pocket. Natsu then frowned, seeing as the helicopter was landing, meaning once they got off, they'd have to rush right to base and go out immediately.

Gray, Gajeel, Sting, Rogue, and Natsu jumped off once it landed, running to the bunker they'd have to share. Once they opened the door and claimed beds, they walked right out, fleeing to the shower rooms. They each took a shower, walking out in towels (insert nosebleeds here).

"That felt nice," Gajeel spoke up.

"Yeah, now to get our uniforms from the washer and dryer, hm?" Gray added.

"You can say that again," Sting huffed.

"You guys remembered to get your pictures out of your uniforms, right?" Rogue asked.

"Yeah, we left em' in the bunker." Gajeel answered, rubbing his head with a towel.

"Men, get ready! Head to your bunkers and get everything you need, we leave in the morning!" A voice shouted.

"Gee, so much for short notice." Natsu whispered under his breath.
