Kick Thirteen: You sure are lucky
Previously on FPG:

Laxus huffed, trying to calm down Mira. Lucy walked over to Natsu, grabbing his hand. "Let's get you back on your team, shall we?"

Natsu was shocked to say the least, I mean...his girlfriend said the three words she hated. '...I'm Dragneel's girlfriend...' None the less, he was happy.

"Yeah, let's go." Natsu held Lucy's hand in his, and ran off with Laxus and Mira following the couple.

Lucy and Natsu panted for air. They both stood in front of the gym doors."You didn't have to run y'know!" Mira huffed, crossing her arms.

"Whatever Mira." Lucy rolled her eyes, grabbing Natsu's hand whilst pushing open the doors. Cold air rushed out of the gym, slamming into Lucy's face. She grinned, feeling the air conditioning. Lucy stepped into the gym, walking to their coach. 

"Gildarts." Lucy called, making the orange headed man look up from his clipboard. 

"Heartfilia, Dragneel, Dreyar, Strauss, what can I do for you all?" Gildarts set his clipboard to the side, giving the teens his attention. 

"Natsu was wondering if his spot was still open on the team..." Lucy murmured, making Gildarts pick up his clipboard. 

"His spot is still open." Gildarts again set it down, making a tick mark appear on Mira's forehead.

"Why are you asking?" Gildarts asked.

"He wants it back, is there anyway he can get it back?" Lucy questioned.

"Doesn't matter to me. I'll just write his name on the quarterback spot again. Glad to have ya back Dragneel." Gildarts' hand made it's way on the middle of Natsu's back. 

"Thank you sir. I won't disappoint you." Natsu grinned.

"I know you won't, but if you disappoint her," He pointed to Lucy, "We're gonna have a few words this time." 

Natsu nodded, "It won't happen. After all, I do love my Luce." He pulled Lucy closer, rubbing her hair. Lucy pouted at this, reaching for his hands to make him stop. Natsu laughed at her. Mira stood there, admiring it. Her ship was back together, and though she didn't want to admit it, it was thanks to a stupid calendar. Laxus grinned at Mira, seeing she was deep in thought. 

"Don't think too hard 'er you'll explode." Laxus joked, earning him an elbow in the stomach. 

"Hey!" Mira scowled, making Laxus laugh.

"Go to class." Gildarts shooed off the teens.

"You sure are lucky, Dragneel." Mira huffed, "Getting Lucy and your spot back." 

"If you go out of line again, I'll smack you, you hear me?" Mira scolded.

"Aye, sir!" Natsu danced around, making Lucy giggle at her idiot of a boyfriend. 

"It's ma'am to you solider." Mira growled. 

"Mira, stop! You're scaring him." Lucy giggled.

Lucy and Natsu strolled down the hallway, Natsu insisting she get to class on time. He carried both of their books, even though Lucy wanted to hold her own. 

"Hey look, the Dragneel's are back together." A student giggled, pointing to Lucy and Natsu.Lucy blushed lightly. Natsu chuckled at her red face. "Don't worry Luce. As long as I'm here, you'll continue to be a Dragneel." 

Lucy beamed at him, "Don't change Natsu. I love you just the way you are."
