Kick Ten: Marking a calendar up to date
Previously on FPG:

"I'm not Dragneel's girl anymore," Lucy sadly sighed.

A bunch of girls swarmed around Lucy, making her nervous. "What happened?"

Lucy just sat down in her seat, waiting for Maco to burst through the doors.

"SIT DOWN MAGGOTS!"

Everyone complied. Lucy looked out the window, "What has happened to him?" She whispered, barely audible. No one noticed the blonde haired girl, except Mira. Mira shook her head, Natsu was going to get a fistful later.

Natsu. He was mad, upset, and clueless. How could Lucy just break up with him and seem perfectly fine? Was there someone else? No. That couldn't be. Natsu's head was spinning with questions, and he was sick of it. To say he missed Lucy was an understatement. He sauntered home that day, talking with Grandeeney.

"Mom," Natsu called, making Grandeeney sprint down the stairs.

"What is it dear?" Grandeeney asked, concern present on her features.

"I'm a mess. I kissed Lisanna," Natsu slammed his hand on his forehead, "Then Lucy found out and broke up with me."

Grandeeney was upset. She hadn't known her son would ever reach a conclusion as such. She thought she raised him properly. Seeing as Zeref made it out okay, and Wendy was an angel so far, she was utterly confused. How could Natsu be so clueless. "Son, here's what I want you to do."

"I'm listening."

"Go grab your calendar, mark all of the practices and games you've had so far. Mark the days you spent with Lucy, and mark the ones you've spent with Lisanna. When you're done, come find me." Natsu nodded, trudging up the stairs.

Once he made it to his room, he ripped the calendar off his wall, marking what Grandeeney said to mark. Meanwhile, Grandeeney rushed to her eldest son's room, knocking frantically.

Zeref opened the door, "Hello mother, what can I do for you?"

"Natsu needs to be taught somethings about women," Grandeeney started, "I was hoping you would be able to help."

Zeref sighed, "Mom, you remember what happened with Mavis,"

"Yes, but you're both engaged now."

Zeref couldn't disagree now, Grandeeney had him under her thumb, "I guess,"

Grandeeney smiled at her eldest, walking to her youngest's room next, "Wendy dear, I could use some assistance."

The said girl ran to her door, "What is it mommy?"

"Natsu seems to be having lady issues. He could use some assistance from a lady." Wendy nodded her head, a fist pumping into the air.

"I'm on it! I won't let you down." Wendy ran to her brother's room, standing next to Zeref in the doorway.

"What's he doing Zeref?" Wendy questioned her older brother.

"I'm not sure, Wen. It appears he's marking his calendar, but why?" Zeref asked.

"And why is he marking dates from September? We're well in November by now," Wendy added.

"Perhaps we should ask?" Zeref looked down to his youngest sibling, seeing confidence.

"We should." Wendy marched to her brother's side, giving him a concerned look.

"Natsu, what are you doing? Why are you marking dates from back in September?" Wendy questioned him.

"Mom told me to mark the following dates. Football games and practices. The times I spent with Lucy and Lisanna. And then when I'm done to go and show this to her."

Zeref and Wendy looked to each other, nodding. They knew their mother was smart, but not this smart. Grandeeney was showing Natsu why Lucy lashed out at him. She could tell her middle child was confused, and sent him on a 'quest' to figure it out himself. She helped him start out, but sent her two other children in hopes they would help him understand better.

"Finish it up Natsu." Zeref grinned, "And when you finish talking to mom, come find Wendy and I." Wendy and Zeref trudged down the steps, sitting on their living room couch.

"Zeref, are you getting Dragneel corp?" Wendy asked her older brother.

"Yes Wendy." Zeref smiled down at her, "Why do you ask?"

"I was just wondering," Wendy shrugged.

"Alright kiddo," Zeref rubbed Wendy's head, making her pout.

"Wahh!~" Wendy slapped her brother's arms, not wanting to be treated like a child.

"Okay, okay, I surrender!" Zeref chuckled, holding his hands up in surrender.

After a lot of sibling roughhousing, Natsu came down with his calendar. Natsu sheepishly handed the calendar to Zeref. Wendy peeked over Zeref's shoulder, and both of their eyes widened. "Dang bro." Zeref's face twisted.

"You've spent more time with Lisanna than Lucy?" Wendy's skin crawled.

"Lisanna isn't good for you Natsu." Zeref shook his head, "Remember what happened last time?"

Natsu nodded, a scowl on his face. "She cheated on me,"

"Right. Now, think about how Lucy feels. You cheated on her," Wendy chimed, shaking her head.

"What have I done?" Natsu grabbed his calendar from Zeref's hands, looking at all the days he spent on football and Lisanna. Then it clicked, he should have been spending time with Lucy. Lucy was right, he took her for granted.

Grandeeney watched as her son realized his mistake. She smiled. "You never truly know how much you have until it's gone," She whispered.

"Now Natsu," Wendy spoke up.

"As they say," Zeref added.

"Go get er' tiger!" Wendy cheered, grabbing her brother and shaking him.
