Cameron pulled me out of my trance when I felt a slight tug on the sleeve of my t-shirt. I paused the show I was watching and turned my attention to Cameron who was bouncing around next to me.

"I really wanna do something today." Cameron groaned as he flung himself on to the chair mimicking a starfish's pose.

"I know you do." I replied as I crossed my arms behind my head.

"Yeah." He replied, reaching for his toy airplane which had been dormant for the past few days.

"How about we go to the museum?" I offered as I looked over at Cameron and then Mikayla.

    She quickly whipped her head around at the sound of her name, her ponytail flinging in the air. Rose was in her arms gurgling sweetly while playing with her small elephant teething toy.

      "Huh?" Mikayla asked, her eyebrows raised.

     I let out a long sigh.

      "The museum," I repeated," should we go to the museum?"

       "Oh!" Mikayla laughed as she shook her head," I guess that is fine. Does Cameron want to go though?"

      I looked over at Cameron who was glancing at his miniature nerf gun on the kitchen table. He had to restrain from using it for a while since he almost shot Mikayla when she was watching TV.

        "Yeah," He quickly replied, returning from his trance," I wanna go to the museum."

    Cameron rolled off the couch and began to army crawl towards his beloved nerf gun.

      "Don't even think about little man." I scolded as I ran over and scooped him up from the floor.

    "Hey!" Cameron squealed as he squirmed in my arms.

      "I'll get the lunches packed." Mikayla smiled as she watched me tickle Cameron as if there was no tomorrow.

      ~

      "Rawr! Rawr!" Cameron growled," Were going to the museum, Teddy!"

     Cameron chose to bring two of his favorite stuffed animals with him. The two that he had chosen were, Froggy the dinosaur and Teddy, his bear he had received the day he was born.

      Rose was currently sleeping in her car seat while her brother was wide awake as always.

     "How much longer, mommy?" Cameron asked as he rested his head against the back of his seat.

     "A half an hour or so." She replied, focusing on the scenery outside and not Cameron.

      "That's a long time!" Cameron frowned as he slouched down in his seat further.

       "Cameron, please sit up." I ordered as I looked at him through the mirror.

      He glanced up at my reflection in the mirror and he gave me an irritated look. I gave him my classic you-need-to-stop look which made him instantaneously look away from me.

"Hey Cam," I proclaimed as I turned the volume up so Cameron could hear is favorite song playing.

"Oh my gosh! Daddy, it's the gummy bear song!" Cameron explained as he clapped his hands excitedly, placing his stuffed animals on the empty seat beside him.

Cameron shut his eyes and smiled, swaying back and forth to the beat of the song. Before I knew it, he began to belch out the words.

"I'M A GUMMY BEAR, YES I'M A GUMMY BEAR!" Cameron shouted as he danced around in his seat.

"Cameron stop! Rose is still asleep!" Mikayla scolded, her tone was biting as her brown eyes hardened.

"Sorry." Cameron apologized," I'm a naughty kid."

"No, no Cameron you aren't a naughty kid. We all make mistakes. It's okay, seriously." Mikayla convinced as she reached over to pat his leg.

"Yeah?" Cameron replied, his tone still sounding disappointed," I am always getting in trouble." He sighed.

"Sometimes that's a good thing." I interrupted before Mikayla could respond,"We all learn from our mistakes. Now you know you won't do it again, done." I finalized, re-focusing on the street.

"Oh." Cameron responded.

"Cam, we are here. Look at the big museum!" I awed as I pointed to the massive cement structure in front of us.

"Whoa!" He gasped as his bear dropped from his grip," there's a dinosaur in the front yard!" He pointed, his mouth gaping.

"Yes, I haven't been here in years."

Suddenly, Rose let out a small groan, informing us all that she was now awake. The timing could not have been more convenient. Mikayla grabbed Rose's car seat while I held Cameron's hand to the entrance.

While we waited in line to get tickets, an elderly woman and her husband came up to us.

The lady had olive-colored skin and almond shaped eyes. Her husband on the other hand had bright blue eyes and whitening hair that used to be a shade of brown.

"You have such a cute family." The woman awed as she glanced over at each and everyone of us.

"Thank you very much." I thanked, blushing a bit at her comment," that means a lot."

"No problem honey, I'm just here with my cane and my husband, who can sometimes be an airhead." She whispered in my ear.

"Nina, I can hear you." He sighed as he shifted his cane.

"I know Duncan, that's the point." She rolled her eyes as she scooted her walker in the other direction.

I couldn't help but to let out a small laugh as the cute couple fought over the smallest things.

"Well, we must return to what we had in mind. I hope you enjoy your visit!" She waved goodbye.

We waved back as we watched them slowly proceed down the the titanic section on the lower level.

"Daddy, Daddy!" Cameron shouted as he raced ahead of us, his dinosaur in one hand and his beat in the other.

"Yes, yes!" I replied, pushing the stroller.

"Can we see the bones?" He asked as he pointed to the selection of dinosaur skeletons.

"Sure." I nodded as we took a sharp left turn down the ramp.

"They're so big!" Cameron awed as his head turned, scanning the multiple dinosaurs hanging on the ceiling.

"Indeed." I agreed as I read the small passage about triceratops.

"Look Froggy! That's your mommy!" He exclaimed as he showed Froggy his "mommy".

Cameron ran aimlessly in a circle around the dinosaur, showing Froggy everyone part of it. He even named the dinosaur Lila so she would be even more important to him and Froggy.

"I like museums." Cameron commented as he marched down to the circus themed room.

"I know you do." I laughed, looking over at Mikayla," that's why we took you here."

"I am actually quite surprised this museum is even open today." Mikayla replied as she looked down at her watch," I mean it's Christmas after all."

"Me too. At least it was cheaper and it is less crowded than usual." I shrugged continuing down the hallway.

"Yeah, I guess."

"Do they have airplanes here?" He asked curiously, cocking his head to the left.

" I am sure they do but we can look around later." I stated before I continued down the hallway.

Cameron stopped dead in his tracks, his head turning around to me.

"Daddy," Cameron started," don't you know that man?"

I inhaled sharply, wincing as I saw who this man was that Cameron recognized. I recognized him too and I knew that this was not going to be the best museum trip I've been on.

"Let's take a right turn, Cam." I motioned as I quickly spun the stroller around, making sure I was not in his sight anymore.

"Aris, is that you?" The voice called after me.

I decided not to answer, letting his question linger in the air around us.

AN// I hope I made the ending suspenseful enough, lol. This chapter was kind of short, sorry about that. I had the chapter up as a draft and it was really irritating me so I decided to finish the chapter today.

Finally, I am thinking that there will be around ten to fifteen more chapters in this book. Does that sound about average for the length of the book already? I think so but I don't know, hehe.

No one has asked me this question yet but I have made my decision.

1) There will be no sequel or prequel to this book. If any of you were looking forward to one, I am really sorry but there won't be one. I just have way to many books I need to finish at the moment.

2) I will include a small Epilogue and a mini prequel type thing at the end. There won't be a book though.
