Fear is a deadly thing,

Fear can give you the courage to do something that can help you escape something you are afraid of

because we are so afraid of it that we forget our rationality and would go to any extent to stop it

All you have to fear is fear itself 

fear of failure will give you the immense courage to cheat.

Fear of facing people and society will give you the courage to die

and Fear of losing someone will make you possessive.
