[3] Did you feel us?

"Come on Wendy!!" Crystal called out behind her, jogging in a good pace in front of her older sister. "We're almost there! Besides, you always did want to know where I went on workout days."
"But we've ran for almost an hour!" Wendy panted, looking like she couldn't take another step.
"Oh, that's because we've been running in circles."
        "WHAT?!"
Crystal stopped and turned around, hands on her hips. Although she wasn't as exhausted as Wendy was, you could she her shoulders heave. "It takes about ten minutes to walk to this place, but I've decided that we should run for a bit."
"You could've at least told me. . ." Wendy mumbled, leaning on her knees to catch her breath.
"Nope, come on." Crystal grunted, pulling her sister upright and dragging her out into the small clearing. A few random objects littered the ground - none that Wendy really knew - as Crystal dragged her over to a huge, blue squared mat. "Alright," She dropped Wendy's arm and walked a few meters away. "Come at me!"
"W-What?! No, why?" Wendy shook her head frantically, looking at her sister in worry.
"You're really good at support magic, Wendy - and there is nothing wrong with that! But you could work on your attacks and defenses a bit more." Crystal stated bluntly.

        "I thought I could fight decently. . ."
"And you can! But if you want to help Mest become a S-class mage, then you need to strengthen yourself!"
Wendy sighed, nodding slowly. She could see what Crystal was getting at. Although she was decent at fighting, there was no way she could help Mest at the level she was at. "Alright. . ."
"Good!" Crystal smiled and got in a fighting stance. "Now, come at me!"
Wendy copied her sister's stance before rushing at her, throwing a small punch. Crystal almost seemed to droop with disappointment as she easily blocked the attack with her forearm.
"Wendy," She started. "We both know you can do better then that."
"I know. . ." The older bluenette sighed, looking at the ground. "But you're not the enemy."

"Even when I was, you wouldn't fight me!" Crystal referenced their time back in Edolas. "But sometime, the people you thought you could trust you'll have to fight. If you really want to help Mest - you got to train a little bit! Even if that means you have to beat me up!"
         "I still don't want to hurt you. . ."
"Hmm. . ." Crystal furrowed her eyebrows before smiling a bit mischievously. "What if I tell that boy we saw the other day what you said?"
"You wouldn't!" Wendy went tomato red and stared at her sister in disbelief.
"I bet he might be there now~" Crystal teased, starting to walk back to Magnolia. Almost instantly, she felt something ram into her back and the ground started to come closer.
Her blue eyes lit up as she twisted her herself and Wendy around - causing the older girl to hit the ground. Quickly, she stood as Wendy jumped up, throwing a punch. Wendy leaned a bit before throwing her own fist, making Crystal duck.
This went on for a few more minutes, the two of them exchanging punches before Crystal finally caught Wendy's wrist. The said girl gasped in surprise as Crystal yanked her forwards - putting her shoulder into Wendy's stomach - and flipping her over to where she landed on her back onto the blue mat.
"H-How did you do that?" She breathed out after catching her breath. Crystal giggled, laying down beside Wendy.
"I used your momentum to flip you over my shoulder. It isn't that hard, I can teach you if you'd want too."
"Yes please!!" Wendy exclaimed excitedly before looking at her sister with narrowed eyes. "You aren't going to go get that boy though, are you?"
"No, I was just trying to get you to do something." Crystal's eyes gleamed as she nudged her shoulder. "Though, if you really want me too. . ."

         "NO!!"
Crystal threw her head back and laughed loudly. "Alright, Alright! No need to panic! Your secret is safe with me." Wendy drew out a sigh, relaxing.
         "Thanks. . ."
"Hey, what are sisters for? Now, I better start teaching you!"

A couple days later, the competitors and their partners were at the docks - getting ready to leave to Tenrou Island. The docks were busy as everyone wished their friends luck on their contest, passing on words of encouragement.
"Did you forget anything?" Crystal asked, digging through Wendy's small bag. "You have sunscreen, a bathing suit, new clothes. . ."

"Honestly, Cry, it seemed like you're the mother here - not the younger sibling!" Kat exclaimed, watching with amusement besides Carla and - reluctantly - Mest.
"I didn't forget anything, sis." Wendy assured, giggle slightly. Crystal smiled in reply, rubbing her neck.
"Ahh, sorry. . .Are you at least wearing the necklace?"
"Never take it off." Wendy proved so by reveling the small necklace from under the top of her dress. "What about you?"
"Never take it off." Crystal quoted, showing the exact replica of the necklace, only with a more diamond shaped instead of a tear-drop.
The two sisters quickly pull each other into a tight hug as the Master called for everyone to hurry up.
"Do your best." Crystal whispered, squeezing Wendy's shoulders.
"Always." Wendy nodded and pulled back. Crystal looked towards Mest, trying not to let her uneasiness show.
"She may be helping you become an S-class mage, but you still better protect her - or I'll have your ass."

Mest sweatdropped at the threat and rubbed his head nervously. "I won't let you down. . .You are pretty intimidating for a pre-teen."
"Ahh, thank you!" Crystal grinned. "Good luck, you two. I'll see you soon."
"See you soon, Cry!" Wendy waved as the duo started climbing the ship. Crystal waved off her friends with everyone else before they couldn't see the boat anymore. The bluenette let out a sigh, finally feeling the weight of not having her sister of close friends at the guild with her hit.
"Don't worry, Cry," Pantherlily commented, seemingly sensing her discomfort. "Carla, Kat and I will still be here for you. Besides, Romeo and Macou are still at the guild as well, right?"
"Yeah," Crystal nodded in agreement, starting to turn around. "You're right. Besides, I need to get to know the guild better sooner or later."
"That's the spirit!" Kat cheered, walking besides Lily. Crystal had promise Gajeel that Pantherlily could stay at her room until they get back from the S-class trials. The three of them really didn't see a problem with it.
"Who do you think is going to come back as a S-class mage?" Kat asked as they got closer to the guild hall. Carla, as she had been for the past week, didn't say a word - so Crystal and Lily continued the conversation.
"As much as I love Wendy, I think Natsu or Gray." Crystal shrugged, holding open the guild's doors for the exceeds as they headed for a table.
"Definitely Levy, especially since Gajeel is helping her." Pantherlily stated proudly, sitting on the table with Kat and Carla as Crystl sat on the wooden chair.
"You're just saying that because Gajeel is your partner!" Crystal teased. "I at least choose someone who wasn't my partner, per say!"
Lily nodded and chuckled. "Alright. Well, if not Levy, then diffidently Natsu."
"The boy doesn't know how to quit." Kat mused. "He's not going to go down easily."
"What do you think, Carla?" Crystal tried to get the white she-cat to talk. But she simply shrugged.
           "I'm not sure. . ."

Crystal's eyes twitched slightly with suspioun. Carla wasn't telling her something. As if reading her thoughts - which Kat can do in the first place, but wasn't near her - the pink exceed grinned widely.
"So, Crystal, are we going to have any fun games planned?"
Crystal knew, she had no doubt, that Kat was trying to get her to change the topic. Letting it slid, she nodded.
            "Yeah. . ."

  ☁️ ☁️☁️

"We're leaving now?!" Kat exclaimed with shock, watching Carla walk around the room.
"Shut up!" Carla hissed, glanced nervously at the bathroom door. When the water didn't show any sign of stopping, she sighed in relief and gave Kat a pointed look. "We have to go now if we want to save the people that went to Tenrou! Or at least give them a heads up!"
"What about Cry?" Lily interjected, crossing his arms over his chest as he waited by the window.
"Perfect time to leave. She taking a shower, so she won't hear us leave." With that, Carla continued her search. "I know Wendy kept a map somewhere around here. . .Where is it?"
"We can't just leave Crystal here without a message! She will get so pissed off that we aren't telling her this!"
"Didn't you see the vision I had? If Crystal comes with us, she's most likely to die!"
"Woah there, mind telling me what's going on?" The three exceeds froze at the voice and turned slowly to the - now opened - bathroom door. Crystal stood there with a towel wrapped around her neck and a long shirt on.
"It's nothing." Kat quickly shot down.
Crystal shook her head, walking into the room. "That's a lie if I ever heard one. What is it?"
A tense silence followed before Lily sighed, uncrossing his arms. "Carla had a vision about the people that are going to Tenrou Island. . .and it isn't a good one."
The bluenette blinked slowly, taking a long moment, before nodding and throwing her towel onto her bed. "Alright." She answered, going over to her dresser.
"Alright?" Kat asked. "That's all you have to say?"
"No, that's all I can really put into words." Crystal corrected, throwing on her shorts and crop top, going over to the desk to lace up her boots. Once they were laced up, she got a pen and paper.
"What are you doing?" Carla demanded, watching as Crystal carefully wrote each letter. The young girl put the pen down after a few minutes of silence - reading over the letter - before nodding and putting it in a golden envelope.
"I'm writing a letter to Romeo to where we're going." She answered finally, hooking in her earring before looking over to the exceeds.
"'We'? Last time I heard, it was only Carla, Lily, and me." Kat pointed out while Crystal went over to the bookshelf.
"Yup! Now it's me as well. I'm going, whether you want me too or not."
               "Crystal-"

"Too late!" She declared, pulling out a map that Carla had been looking for. "Now, if you really want this map, you will let me come with you."
The white she-cat narrowed her eyes at Crystal, finally hissing out a 'Fine'.
"Great!" She cheered, walking towards her nightstand and swiping her pen - putting it in her pocket pouch and spinning on her heels to look at her friends. "Where too?"

   ☁️ ☁️☁️

"And that's all you saw?" Crystal rose an eyebrow as she looked towards Carla - who was flying besides Kat. Kat nodded, trying not to look as guilty as possible. Carla may have left out a detail or two. . .
"That's all she saw." Lily agreed, going along with the small plan the exceeds had made. Not to tell Crystal Carla and Kat saw her die. No biggie.
"I can see why you didn't want me to come now." Crystal mused lightly. "Nothing really makes Cana cry, right?"
"As far as I know." Carla replied, looking down at the map she had clutched in her paws. Her eyes lit up slightly as a dark form started to appear over the horizon. "I think that's it."
"That's Tenrou Island?" Crystal questioned, squinting her eyes to see. Since her eye sight was more advanced, she could see the tall, lumped form looked like a huge tree.
"You sure it was a good idea to come here?" Lily suddenly uttered out.
"It's fine, we're just watching. . .If we see anything really suspicious, we'll tell the Master. We don't want to alarm anyone." Kat answered.
"Carla's worried about Wendy." He pointed out teasingly.

The white exceed gripped the folded map as she scowled towards the blue ocean. "I was so against this, but she just-!"
Lily and Crystal exchanged knowing glances as Carla went to tell him how this all started. Crystal mostly blocked it out - seeing as she was there - but was quick to hop back into the conversation as Carla finished.
"In the end, she said she was going to help out Mest in the place of Mystogen and stopped talking to me."
Crystal scoffed, crossing her arms. "Worst time of my  life! I had to be an interpreter between these two."
"To think she would give you the silent treatment for a whole week." Pantherlily mused. "She's surprisingly stubborn. You too."
"Where do you think I got it from?" Crystal added.

"I don't care about who this Mest person is," Carla started, ignoring Crystal's side comment. "I just have a very bad feeling about this exam thing."

             "That Prognostication ability of yours?"
"It's too fragmentary for me to day anything." Carla replied.
"I'm more interested in that Mest guy." At this, Crystal nodded.

             "So am I."

"Why?" Kat questioned, not bothering to read Crystal's thoughts.
"He's the Prince's disciple. Somethings fishy about that." Lily pointed out, putting a finger to his lower lip.
"As far as I know, the Prince doesn't have a disciple." Crystal stated grimly, watching the island grow closer.

(More-less, a filler. Sorry for updating late, I'll update Metal Rose this weekend ^-^"
