Thx you guys so much for voting and commenting! Ok, this chapter is going to be a bit intense. We are drawing more closer to the end of the story. WOW! I wrote this story in march...ok, if you see any spelling mistakes please tell me!

Somewhere  at the edge of the Western lands border...

"Milord? Are we ready to move in?" a tall demon spoke evilly . A more younger demon with brown hair and cold blue eyes grinned coldly, "Prepare to attack".

At the Western castle...

“Sesshomaru?” Inuyasha whispered, softly knocking on the study’s door. “Enter” came the deep seductive voice that sent shivers down the hanyou’s spine.  Inuyasha shyly ambled in, taking a seat next to the demon lord who was writing elegantly. “How was your meeting?” Inuyasha timidly queried, blushing when Sesshomaru looked up and extended out to run his fingers through his silky hair, “It was fine, but I have missed you” Sesshomaru confessed inaudibly Inuyasha smiled, “So have I”. A low growl soon interrupted, Sesshomaru raised a brow, “Have you eaten?” Sesshomaru demanded Inuyasha flinched. “I take that as a no then” Sesshomaru murmured, Inuyasha snorted lightly “I wasn’t hungry”. 

A loud yell and an angry growl alerted the maids who catiously looked down the hall: their eyes widen at the scene in front of them. “Let go of me!” Inuyasha snarled while Sesshomaru watched impassively before tightening his grip  “Stop this Inuyasha” Sesshomaru said coldly pulling the hanyou down the hall, “I hate you, ouch your hurting me” Inuyasha snivelled. The demon lord smirked “ but I love you my little yasha” Sesshomaru purred before  pressing his body against the boy until Inyasha's back was up against the wall, leaning in the demon smoothly licked the boy’s chin, Inuyasha panted. missing the lustful look in those golden eyes “Sesshomaru..”, “Milord?” Sesshomaru turned, he growled threateningly at the maid “What is it?”he growled still pressing his body against Inuyasha.

The maid bowed. "The food has been served" she said, backing away slowly "You are dismissed then" Sesshomaru said. The maid bowed again. "I told you I'm not-"  a pale hand clasped over his mouth "Silence Inuyasha" Sesshomaru scowled, Inuyasha only glared at him before the weight against disappeared and he fell to the ground like a petal. As they walked to the dinning hall, Sesshomaru looked over his shoulder and he couldn't help himself but laugh lightly, Inuyasha looked at him in confusion "What's so funny?" the hanyou inquired Sesshomaru smiled "Don't try and hide it Inuyasha" Inuyasha stared at him still confused, "Its obvious your pouting" Inuyasha's ears  flatten  "I am not pouting bastard he said indignantly, poking his tongue out.

Sesshomaru growled. "Show some respect, don't use foul-words in my present" Inuyasha simpered "Try and stop me" the hanyou teased. Then he lunged, Inuyasha gasped as he  was pushed back,  sharp teeth dug deep into his flesh, soon followed by a smooth tongue that glided across his skin, clearly trying to heal the recent wound, "Ouch stop it!" Inuyasha cried out struggling to get out of Sesshomaru's grasp. After a few more yells and screams, Inuyasha slowly lowered his head in submission, "I'm sorry for my rube behaviour" Inuyasha whispered, Sesshomaru purred with apporval, bringing Inuyasha into a cuddle, "You subborn mate of mine" Sesshomaru whispered.

BANG! The smell of  fresh blood filled the air. Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes. The two mates turned around just in time to see a solider stagger in, one of his eyes had been punched, scarlet blood was oozing out of an open wound. His arm had been torned off. "What happened-" "My lords! The castle...is under...attack....we were....unprepared......" the guard gasped in pain, the guard's legs buckled in affliction. Then he fell.

"Sesshomaru! We have to get him to Chigo!" Inuyasha exclaimed rushing to the dying guard's side. "Leave him Inuyasha" Sesshomaru ordered but Inuyasha shook his head  "We have to save him! We can't leave him! What if It was me that got shot?" Inuyasha angrily spat, Sesshomaru went silence. " Lord Inuyasha! Lord Sesshomaru!" The hanyou and the daiyokai turned around, "We're under attack! "Tell me something I don''t already now" Sesshomaru growled, "You must go to a safer place in the castle!" Katio and Ryu said. Sesshomaru roughly pulled Inuyasha away from the guard "No! We have to save him! " the hanyou spun around to try and bite the demon lord's hand that was on his shoulder. That was when Sesshomaru finally lost it "Enough! That guard  is dying! Its too late for him. But my duty is to protect you Inuyasha,and  its because I love you and if you die once more....." Sesshomaru trailed off but his eyes were still full of anger and pain that Inuyasha turned away.  "It will bring me great pain and grief if you die again" Sesshomaru whispered to Inuyasha as hec ame up beside him. 

"Sesshomaru..." Inuyasha was lost for words. "I promise to protect you with my life" Sesshomaru vowed kissing the hanyou lightly on the forehead, Inuyasha could only smile back. Another gunshot and scream filled the air. "Who is our enemy?" Sesshomaru demanded stalking away with Inuyasha at his side. 

"The southern lands".
