Inuyasha quietly limped through the forest, bruises and scratches from the village kids could be seen on his skin. He could no longer hold back the tears that stung his eyes and he collapsed to the ground, curling into a ball-shaped position, why did they bully him? 'I haven't done anything wrong' he whispered as another tear rolled down his cheek ."Where did you get those bruises from?"asked a familiar indifferent voice from the shadows , Inuyasha tiredly lifted his head up to trying to find the source of that voice a outline came out, Inuyasha couldn't help but smile weakly.

Sesshomaru looked down at the curled up Inuyasha, he caught the strange weak smile on the hanyou's lips and the smell of salt in the air indicated to him that the hanyou had been crying he came out from where he was hiding and lowered himself beside the boy. Inuyasha lifted his head until he was staring into Sesshomarus golden gaze "Where did you get those bruises?" Sesshomaru asked softly watching Inuyasha weakly sat up into a cross-legged position the boy looked at the forest floor to avoid Sesshomaru intense gaze.

Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes. "I won't repeat myself, Inuyasha" he said firmly before getting up to leave"The village kids"came the soft reply Sesshomaru turned around to face the boy "They tease me and throw rocks at me"Inuyasha quietly continued, "Don't let those human kids get to you" Inuyasha stared at the demon lord.

"Did you just.." Sesshomaru started to walk away, Inuyasha sprang up and ran after him "Please don't go!" came Inuyasha's protest, the daiyōkai turned around to see Inuyasha clutching onto his mokomoko also known otherwise, his tail which Inuyasha didn't know about. "Let go" growled Sesshomaru yanking his fluffy tail out of the boy's hands "Please don't go"Inuyasha repeated tears rolling down his face, Sesshomaru sighed. He may as well stay with this child.

"You want some?"asked Inuyasha offering the fish that he caught from the river "I don't eat human food remember?" Replied Sesshomaru who was lying underneath the shaded tree Inuyasha frowned. "What do you eat then?" Sesshomaru glared at the boy "Mind your own business, that is irrelevant"he retorted Inuyasha shrugged then continued to eat the fish greedily.
Sesshomaru started to get thirsty so he got up and walked to the river's edge and gracefully scooped the water into his hands unaware of what Inuyasha was about to do.

SPLASH!

Sesshomaru found himself in the river, his mokomoko floating beside him . He could hear laughter from the bank, he turned around to see Inuyasha giggling at the sight, his ridiculous doggy ears twitching Sesshomaru smiled, that hanyou was going to pay for that,he lurched forward grabbing Inuyasha's red robe Inuyasha's golden eyes widen"Wait!"

but it was too late, Sesshomaru dropped Inuyasha into the water, Inuyasha started splashing and coughing as water went into his mouth "Hold this "said Sesshomaru holding his mokomoko out to Inuyasha.
Inuyasha grabbed it then gave Sesshomaru an angry look "What was that for?" Inuyasha said angrily. The pair continued to float downstream "I decided to return the favour"Sesshomaru replied returning Inuyasha's angry look back at him.

"Here, I decided to give you something in return to say thank for the shell necklace" Sesshomaru was holding a strange yellowish ball with hexagons patterns "What is it?"asked Inuyasha curiously examining the strange object "Honeycomb from the bee hive" replied Sesshomaru Inuyasha blinked

"Can you eat it?"

Sesshomaru rolled his eyes

"I'm not trying poison you if that what your thinking"

"Ok..."

Inuyasha took the honeycomb and sniffed it. It had a sweet smell to it. Inuyasha licked it a delighted look came onto his face "Delicious!" he said happily. Sessshomaru watched the child lick the honeycomb with a content look on his face then the most unexpected thing happened.

Inuyasha hugged Sesshomaru tightly.
"Thank you!"Inuyasha said cheerfully ,looking up at the demon lord with his golden eyes, smiling. Sesshomaru couldn't help himself but smile back , he wasn't going to tell anyone that he, Lord Sesshomaru let his cold mask slip all because of a hanyou child "Your welcome".
