Side Note: Sorry for the long wait, I got distracted and time ended up flying past.

Also I read the last chapter of the Manga the day after it came off and I don't know if I feel happy, sad, disappointed or just numb. I mean, I won't spoil anything and I already said that I found the storyline less enjoyable in the past but the ending, I think went with the storyline but at the same time .. failed. If that makes sense?

"I don't understand why you're so against it?" Hanji huffed back innocently, swaying her arms back and forward as she walked beside her fellow captain. 

"Because you would have made me buy the whole damn shop of clothing in her size. She's going to be stuck in the base, she doesn't need that many clothes. Just five sets the most but we do washing daily meaning she won't be needy for any clothes anytime soon. Plus, she's gonna be stuck with me .. I won't let her just reuse dirty clothes either" Levi snapped back in annoyance, he had to bring Hanji along to one of the clothes shops for Mikasa while Erwin kept an eye on her at the hotel. They had a spare hour and Erwin decided to send Levi and Hanji out to get the basics for Mikasa but due to Levi not really knowing anything about little girls fashion or any underwear they would use ... Hanji had to come along. 

Both of them had just entered the hotel again, the Survey corps horses all outside of the hotel, geared up for everyone to ride out in five minutes. Bags strapped to the horses and everyone was dressed in full uniform like normal. 

Levi felt strange carrying a cotton bag full of clothes for a twelve year old along with a couple of blankets and a new hairbrush for her to use as well. Hanji grinning like a mad man beside him since she very much enjoyed almost using up all his wages for Mikasa stuff. Thankfully Levi stepped in and only got the real basics needed and he still had a decent amount of his wages left for the rest of the month. 

The two slowed down as they noticed a couple of MPs speaking with Erwin by the check in desk, Mikasa no where in sigh making the two captains start to worry if something happened or if someone stole Mikasa while they were gone. Both hurrying up before slowing down as they noticed Erwin send them a certain look, silently ordering them to play it calm and innocent over whatever the MPs were here for. 

"Four-eyes, carry the bag and act like it's you're clothes inside if anyone asks" Levi grumbled, sliding the cotton bag strap from his shoulder before passing it over to the taller women. 

"Why me?" Hanji muttered back but placing the straps over one shoulder anyone.

"Everyone would know I'll have my own clothes delivered personally to the camp and I won't just go shopping when on duty either. You on the other hands, you go wild no matter where you go. Plus, it's got girls clothes inside, you can lie by saying they're your own" Levi replied without missing a beat making Hanji give a small nod. 

They slowed down a little more as they almost reached Erwin, listening on what the MPs were talking about. They were  asking questions over where Levi killed those guys, asking about if he found something strange in the room. 

Mikasa..

They were after her whereabouts but weren't speaking like they knew she was a little girl or not. They made it sound like they were looking for an object close to the boss they arrested, these MPs knew Mikasa .. they've seen her before meaning they've bought her before.

News must have travelled fast that she was let out, somewhere free inside one of the walls. Or pleased costumers were trying to find out where she was being kept now, trying to track down her new owner for them to carry on business with. 

Erwin played innocent, keeping a straight face and telling the simple facts. Levi gained the needed evidence and some of the guards found out. Taking him to the building to kill him but Levi won in the fight. Nothing else or anyone else was around when Levi left and he just assumed it was an old whore house or something, not looking much into it.

The MPs brought the bullcrap from Erwin and soon said their goodbyes before leaving. Both making care not to act disappointed or over egger on finding out if Mikasa was seen by them or not since it would prove they knew about her before hand and left her to be used.  

Levi watched as they left, taking notice as the one who spoke the most looked back over his shoulder towards him. Clearly trying to work out if Levi had secretly taken her for himself or not before turning to look forward again. 

"I guess it was a good call in letting her stay with us. Guys like them would have kept trying to track Mikasa down and take her for themselves" Hanji sighed, a worried and pitied look on her face as she came to a stop by Erwin.

"Seems that way, they were clearly being careful in not admitting knowing Mikasa or having known over her. But they were desperate to find out her new location, for now they'll think she was moved before Levi had arrived. But I am rather worried, I knew the MPs were corrupted but not enough to buy a child. Gangs or bosses might not be our only enemies when it comes to Mikasa" Erwin frowned, crossing his arms over his stomach as his eyebrows knitted together in confusion.

"Where is Mikasa?" Levi finally asked, glancing around as soldiers carried on walking past to get to their horses.

"She's safe, she sensed danger without me even knowing it. She's hiding up, good thing she did to. I have a feeling those soldiers would have taken her from us without a second thought. Might even tried using their power as an MP to take her from us" Erwin calmly answered before nodding his head towards the front desk where Mikasa head popped out from, her hands gripping the edge as she used it to help support her weight while she stood again. 

"Were they some of the bastards who used you?" Levi asked in a low and rough voice, watching as Mikasa gave a weak nod, her eyes falling to her feet. 

"How awful, Levi go kill them!" Hanji huffed out like an over protected sister, pointing one hand towards the door before looking to Levi.

"Can I?" Levi asked as he glanced to Erwin who let out a heavy breath before shaking his head.

"But-" Hanji started to argue back before Erwin patted her head to silence her.

"Killing one or two men won't change what they did to Mikasa. Plus, going on a killing spree will only make trouble for you and us, the whole of the survey corps will be effected. Than where would Mikasa go? Right now, we can offer some protection by taking her in but if we go too wild, they have full rights on closing us down and taking her again" Erwin reminded as he placed his hands on his hips, looking to Levi before turning to Hanji who soon pouted. 

"Well, let's head out. Will you stay here with eyebrows a little longer while me and four-eyes grab our bags from our rooms?" Levi mumbled back as he turned towards Mikasa who was limping out from the desk, heading towards them.

Mikasa reply was a simple nod as she carried on heading closer towards Erwin who gave a small smile and greeting nod. Hanji just grinned while she watched Levi eyes hover over Mikasa, checking she was all right before  walking off with his fellow captain.

"We can call a carriage or do you want to ride a horse with Levi. Ah, would you prefer riding with Hanji instead?" Erwin asked as he looked towards Mikasa who had to crank her neck up to see his face, her head shaking quicker then ever as he offered her to ride with Hanji.

A chuckle leaving the commander lips as he watched her reaction before patting her head without thinking and earning her to snarl without warning. He soon moved his head, giving an apologetic look before taking a step back to show he won't touch her anymore for now.

Sorry for the Short chapter and I'll warn you that updating the next chapter might take some time. I have my nephew staying with me, he's now able to run around and grab things making me barely have a free movement to even touch my laptop let alone use it.
