Everyone was riding out again, numbers counted and a few wagons heading back towards the walls with the most injured. All squads grouped up or now held a new squad leader for the rest of the expedition. 

Mikasa was heading out with another squad, helping to take down a few titans that appeared before riding on with them. She noticed another squad to her left, raising an eyebrow as she took notice over Cuppa, well Storm mostly took notice over her being close.

"Come on, you'll see her when we get back inside the walls. We're soldiers right now, remember" Mikasa whispered to storm, pulling on his reigns for him to carry on forward as he was ready to race over to Levi horse. 

Mikasa kept her eyes forward as she ride on, listening to the squad leader she was riding with and giving a silent nod while the other three soldiers in the squad all gave a loud response back. She rolled her eyes, the noisy ones were always the worse to travel with during an expedition. 

She turned her head as the annoying loud steps filled the air, turning towards the titan that were coming from behind on their right. She looked the titan up, raising an eyebrow as it was swaying it's arms like a little skipping girl who's just gained her first crush. 

"Abnormal!" One of the soldier's called out.

"Let's take care of it before it reaches the commander" The Squad Leader yelled back  earning "Yes" in reply from the rest. 

"Sir, I don't think it's heading towards the commander" Mikasa perked up as she looked over her shoulder towards the abnormal titan that wasn't mindlessly going towards any food.

"Where is it heading?" One of the other soldier asked.

Mikasa didn't need to answer as a panicked yelp and scream filled the air as the abnormal titan jumped towards them, keeping it's body straight as it left gravity to help with the landing. All of them moving out of the way, apologising to their horses over the rough treatment but they didn't have much time to think over a quick move. 

"Us" Mikasa whispered back, slowing Storm down as she looked towards the 5 meter abnormal titan that was standing up again. 

Mikasa watched the other four soldiers move into action while she held her handles before using her gear and watching her hooks dig into the shoulder of the titan and used her gas. She swung in the air, pulling out her blades before letting her hooks attach beside the nape before pressing her gas and slicing the nape off in one clean cut. She pressed her feet to it's back, using the dying and steaming titan as a smoother way to get back down on the ground before hopping off and heading back over to Storm who stood patiently for her. 

"Oi!" 

Mikasa turned, a hand staying on Storm saddle, turning her head as she watched Levi and most of his squad ride along with him. Petra and Oluo seemed to be missing but since no one but Levi held a sour look and that was just his resting face, she could guess the missing two was still very much alive. 

"Your a little low of men" Mikasa commented, nodding her head in greeting towards Eld and Gunther who nodded back in greeting. 

"Petra is taking back an injured soldier with Oluo" Levi simply answered, hoping down from his horse and holding cuppa reigns as he walked towards her. 

Levi giving an unimpressed look towards the Squad Leader who'd soon had the rest of the squad riding out again leaving Mikasa on her own with the Levi squad.

Mikasa was planning to say more but a breeze passed and faint smell smacked right into her nose almost making her gag at how strong it was. She took a single step out, eyeing up the captain before her like he'd just plan to murder her cat. 

"D-Did someone throw up on you?" Mikasa asked, disgust flashing in her eyes as she sniffled the air again before bringing her free hand to her nose. 

"Not me, Oluo. He and Petra took care of an titan that was chewing on the injured person hand when we arrived and another soldier was shaken up on the ground. Once they killed the titan, Oluo checked on the shell shocked soldier who ended up puking on him. It's why I've sent them off to pass over the injured soldier, the smell was just awful" Levi explained, a deep frown on his face and his own disgusted look in his eyes as he sniffed at his cape. 

"Want my cape? I've not really used it and you smell worse than the food Petra cooks" Mikasa offered as she nodded her head to the saddle that had her cape tucked in underneath. 

"Hand it over and not a word to the rest" Levi huffed back as he wasted no time in undoing his own cape as he couldn't handle the smell much longer. 

Mikasa only giving a small pity nod and reaching out for her cape knowing that this was pure hell for the shorter man and he has done well in not burning his clothes where he stands. Eld and Gunther didn't seem as bothered but Mikasa just guessed they weren't near Oluo or came close to him after the incident. 

"I might be brave but I'm not stupid. You've got as much blackmail on me as I have on you, it's a foolish act to try and tell other's over this" Mikasa sighed as she held out her cape towards Levi who had finished folding his own cape and tucked it into the straps on Cuppa before reaching out and taking her cape. 

"Good job on the abnormal" Levi prised barely above a whisper as he placed her cape on and did up the buttons, pretending not to notice how it was a little bigger than his cape and draped on him a little. 

"Thank you" Mikasa muttered back, glancing to the side shyly as she knew Levi wasn't as bad as most saw him to be but she still go embarrassed when he openly praised her like this. 

"Come on, we're heading out and since it seems the squad foolishly left you behind. You can join with my squad" Levi replied, turning back to Cuppa and getting ready to hop back on.

"Hmm, I wonder what made the squad leave so quickly?" Mikasa sassed back as she climbed back on Storm, knowing Levi was hiding his smirk. 

"Don't try to be smart" Levi simply scolded back, the humour in his voice that only made Mikasa smirk herself.
