The children were all cheerful this morning. Hector made pancakes with Violets new invention. Sunny, of course, Helped with chewing chocolate candy into pieces to put in the pancakes. Sunny and Beatrice we're playing together in the living room.

After breakfast, Hector let the kids be. There was no need to go out today. There was no need to do chores. There was no need to do anything. The children took the opportunity to do whatever pleases them.

The older children were hanging out together in the backyard. Each of them using their special ability to create something wonderful. The little children being entertained with Hector.

/Klaus/

Today was fun. Hector let us have the day to play. Like usual. We created this cool machine that allows us to open the mail box and bring the mail to our room. Violet, of course did the mechanical part. The triplets came up with the idea and I helped with measurements. Which, I learned at the boarding school. The babies played with Hector.

"Klaus" Isadora interrupts my writing. I turn around facing her. She sits down across the room. On Duncan's bed.

"Yeah?" I ask her. She smiles and ask excitedly, "Can I show you something?"

I get up from the desk that lays between my bed and the window.

"Sure" I reply. She smiles wide and run towards me. She reaches for my hand and leads me outside.

The sun shed brightly on us. The rough grass beneath our feet. The butterflies flying around us. Everything was perfect.

"Come! Follow me!!" Isadora screams gently. She runs to the side of the house and takes a turn. None of us have ever been over here.

The backyard was guarded by a old mahogany colored fence. There was a medal picnic table sitting to the left side of the yard. Right side if you were viewing it at a different angle. On the left side, There was a well. The path Isadora went, was right next to the well. Which no one ever wondered. The path was covered with bushes. There was trees arching the opposite direction. I followed her in till she stopped.

"Where are we?" I ask. Isadora shrugs and laughs.

"I don't know! I came over here when I was exploring! It's so pretty! It's open and there's a little lake over there! But look at this" Her tone going from amused to serious.

She walks over to this box. It was a old box, a bit dusty and had spiderwebs on it. The thing that rose our curiosity was the symbol.
