Jordyn's POV

Once leaving the trainer's room I run to Rylie's  locker room. Now I know Jon just basically asked me out and I said no which is not me at all but I have keep the promise to myself that I would focus on my career first. 

"Rylie I need your help like right now!!" I yelled as I started pacing the floor.

"OK honey be good for daddy and I'll see you soon Ok?" She kissed the phone and hung up and looked at me. "What's the problem did you freak out over TJ midget pants again?" She said laughing at me.

 I rolled my eyes "You can't let shit go can you?" "It was one time and I think his smile is cute." I said stopping my pacing and crosses my arms.

"Nope now what is the big emergency that you ran in here and yelled at me while I was talking to my son." 

"Jon just asked me out and I said no!" I blurted out as I sat down.

"Whoa whoa whoa are you OK who are you and what have you done with my best friend?" She sat next to me with a look of concern on her face.

  "I'm still me but you know how I am, work first and guys second."  She looks at me and touches my shoulder.

"I understand that but girl sometimes you gotta make a exception plus when was the last time you went out and had fun and more importantly when was the last time you got laid."

I looked at her as always my best friend has a good point I'm always working but it's what I do best and as for the last part I know it's been awhile and I'm not denying that Jon is my top pick to help me out with that.

" I know I know but I'm so determined and I'm nervous ok? You know I'm not as brave as you when it comes to guys and stuff." I admitted to her.

"I know best friend but you gotta break out of that shell of yours and get some plus I know Jon is good for you but you gotta see that for yourself."

"You're right best friend." I stand up "I'll think about it but for right now I got a late night meeting with the gym."

She laughs at me "And back to work as usual I'll see you tomorrow.

"Later best friend" I said as I walk out of the door and maybe just maybe she could be right.
