Third Person's POV:
Freddy quietly opened the door to his shared apartment. It was past midnight on a Saturday, or well Sunday now. He just came back from a heavy fight, which he thankfully didn't witness since Fred had taken control. His bullies had gone way too far this time. Somewhere next week it would be Chica's birthday, and Freddy had bought a cake for her at night. Okay, so buying cakes at night was a stupid idea, but Freddy didn't expect to run into his bullies. He hadn't really told his band about them. They were still helping Bonnie to get over his trauma of being bullied for so long, and Freddy felt like it wouldn't be fair for the purple-haired boy if he also decided to tell them about his bullies. Because maybe all the attention would be turned towards him, and then Bonnie would have to face his problems alone again. Freddy didn't want that to happen, so he didn't tell them about it. Fred was pretty pissed at him for it, but he didn't force it. Fred managed to get away from his torturers before he could get hurt anymore, but Freddy still ended up with a black eye and a harmed wrist. He softly closed the door behind him and tip-toed into the living room. He got the scare of his life when the light suddenly flicked on. There, on the sofa were 4 high-schoolers seated, all of them having the same furrowed eyebrows. Freddy froze in the middle of the room, unsure of what to say.
"Oh, shit...... You gotta deal with this one, Freddy." And so Freddy was left on his own.
"Where have you been?" Golden gently asked him, breaking the silence.
"Uh.....just on a walk......" That would be a reasonable excuse, Freddy often walked at night.
"What's that around your eye?" Chica obviously wasn't buying it, and she was staring at him with saddened eyes.
"I bumped into a tree on the way back!" Freddy tried his hardest to sound cheerful, but his voice cracked towards the end.
"And what's that box behind you?" Bonnie's quiet voice was mixed with curiosity and concern.
"I, uh......just bought something fun during my walk!" Of course Bonnie would've noticed the box......
"Freddy, stop fucking lying." Fox grumbled, getting straight to the point.
Chica was gonna scold him, but stopped when she noticed Freddy had started shaking. Tears were forming in his eyes, and he had dropped the box onto the floor. Goddamn it.......he really didn't want to be a burden to them. He deserved it to get bullied, and his friends shouldn't waste their time worrying about him. For fuck's sake, they stayed up this late just to talk to him. Freddy felt a pair of arms wrapping around him, and noticed it was Golden. Then came Chica, Bonnie and eventually Fox, who hugged him a bit shyly. Freddy just let it all out, he probably didn't even have to say what was wrong, by the looks of his band mates he could already tell they knew.
"I'm gonna find those assholes, and I'm gonna beat them up for ya......" Fox reassuringly whispered.
"I'm against violence, but......let's kick some ass." Chica chimed in quietly.
"I don't think that's-" Golden got interrupted by Bonnie.
"Let's watch some movies to cheer you up!" He suggested loudly.
Freddy couldn't help but laugh through his tears. These were his best friends, they worried about him, they cared about him and they accepted him for who he was. They made him feel like he was a part of the group. Thanks to them, he was a part of the group. Chica led him by his hand to the couch, while Golden went to grab some bandages. Bonnie was picking out a DVD while Fox awkwardly went to sit next to Freddy. He couldn't help but smile at that. Fox wasn't very good at comforting people, but he obviously tried his best. Golden came back and applied the bandages while the movie started playing. Scary Movie 2 was projected onto the screen of their small TV, and all of them lay curled up together with blankets over them. Freddy had taken out the cake to which Chica squealed from delight. And so they sat there, in a dimly lit room, watching parody movies while chomping on weird-tasting cake. Freddy couldn't have wished for a better night, or better people do spend it with. His friends were basically his entire life. Maybe it was a bit unhealthy, but damn did it make him feel safe. Fred however, was still complaining in his head.
"Come on, man! Let me out! I wanna cuddle Chica too!" Fred annoyingly whined.
"No. You said I had to deal with this myself, so I'm doing that." Freddy smugly replied.
"You ignorant asshole......" Fred's tone sounded rather playful, though.
"You ignorant womanizer."
"That was unnecessary!"
"It was not."
