I ran.

I ran inside the school,brushing my body against the different kinds of people.

Both supernatural and mortal.

From zombies and demons,to even punny skeletons and deviant androids.

My head turned back,looking at the crowd that was forming on the hallway,noticing a familiar tall figure with purple hair.

My teeth tugged at my bottom lip,as my body suddenly met with a hairy chest.

"Woah,(Y/N),are you in a hurry or something?"

I didn't see the purple hair anymore,making me sigh before I turned my gaze towards the werewolf.

"I am sorry Scott,just at the moment Vincent is chasing me."

He slightly tilted his head,his wolf ears lowering a bit as if he was a puppy.

Oh my God so cute.

"Good morning everyone!Happy Union Day!"A familiar voice said,making me look around.

Suddenly,a figure landed next to me,flapping his angel wings with a smile as he was holding a brown cat in his arms.

The ginger head slightly messed with his hair,pushing the round glasses up to his nose as he was glowing because of his angel form.

"Happy Union Day to you too Fritz!I see your wings got better." My fingertips brushed against the pure white feathers,making him gasp and blush madly.

I pulled my hand away,blushing slightly.

The cat in his arms meowed,jumping off his embrace and slowly transforming.

"Lazy to walk to school Jeremy?"Scott chuckled,as the shorter male lowered his cat ears and his tail slightly covered his face.

I couldn't help but laugh.

My gaze looked over to them,as Fritz gave them cookies he made for the special day.

My eyes shifted towards the banners that were decorating the walls.

We are all the same!

I exhaled deeply,looking at the people who were walking around,both creatures and mortals were getting along so well.

"He is coming."

A whisper brushed against my ear.

I felt my spine shivering,gazing around.

"Quick,run."

"Mike,is that you?"

He chuckled,making himself visible.

"It is the tenth time you fall for that."

I rolled my eyes,crossing my arms."I swear if you weren't a ghost i would punch you."

He playfully stuck his tongue out,fixing the beanie on his head.

"But all jokes aside,he is coming."

I rubbed my forehead sighing.

"Damnit."

"Why are you avoiding him?"

I slightly rubbed my arm,looking over to the others that were still talking and then back at him.

"He is trying to keep me away from Ben."

He blinked,leaning closer towards me.

"Ben?As Ben the Ghoul guy?"

I nodded,making him huff.

"He is a fucker.I don't trust him."

I frowned,slightly pouting.

He eyed me suspiciously."I will say it only for one time,but Vincent is right on that one."

My eyes grew wide.

Then i knew something was up.

It is rare for one of the guys to agree with Vincent.

But why?

Out of all the people.

Why Ben?

"(Y/N)!"

The familiar voice made me flinch,turning my body towards the person whose voice belonged.

The tall male looked at me as he approached quickly,his purple button up shirt slightly open.

Without noticing my moves,I grabbed Fritz's arm.

"Fly me away Fritz."

"What!Where?"

The ginger head was shocked as I was basically in his arms.

"Anywhere,just fly!"

He nodded and spreaded out his angel wings,flying above the crowd of people.

For a moment I forgot how to breathe,but managed to cling on his shirt so i won't fall,as he flied towards the pool area.

"There,it will take a while for him to find you,but until then,it would probably be class time."

I smiled,letting my feet touch the floor as I brushed my fingers through his soft orange hair,ruffling them.

"Thank you Fritzbritz!"

His freckled cheeks turned slightly pink,softly chuckling before flying away again.

I let out a deep sigh,looking around the empty pool area.

Each step on the floor made an echo.

Even the pool area was decorated with banners about the Union Day,making me smile.

From the corner of my eye i noticed some clothes laying on the floor,as I carefully walked towards the pool.

I looked at the water.

Nothing.

Just a pair of eyes.

Wait,what.

Suddenly the figure jumped out of the water,making me back away as I fall on my butt on the floor,hearing a giggle.

"Gotcha!"

The siren laughed,laying on the floor next to me as i rolled my eyes with an irritating huff.

"Kate,i swear I will kill you."

She giggled,sitting up as her mermaid tail slightly splashed against the water.

"Why are you here?" I questioned,sitting up as she looked at me.

"The question is what are you doing here.I am here because I got dehydrated.How about you?"

I pouted,gazing away.

"Avoiding a vampire."

"Why are you avoiding Vincent again?"

I chuckled,slightly ruffling my hair.

"He wants to talk to me about Ben but I don't want him to start bullshitting about him again,but."I softly bit my bottom lip."After what Mike said too,I don't know what to believe."

The girl next to me hummed,brushing her wet hair aside.

"Let Vincent talk to you."

I gazed at the calm water of the pool.

"He is trying to protect you.Ben isn't someone to mess up with."

"It is not like I can't protect myself Kate!"

"Yeah,but he is a ghoul.His power is certainly much bigger than yours."

I huffed,feeling irritated at this point.

"Do you,happen to like Vincent?"

A blush creeped along my cheeks,frowning.

"Me?With that pervert vampire?Please,I don't want a story like Twilight."

"I think you will be a better love story than Twilight!"

She smiled cutely,making me blush as I gazed away.

"That is why you broke up with Ben right?Because of him?"

"No!I did it because things weren't going well,never for that,creepy,pervert,jerk."

I felt the frustration was slowly building up inside me,but for some reason my cheeks were red.

"I heard someone was talking shit about me."

I gasped,turning around meeting face to face with a familiar handsome face.

No,stop thinking like that.

"I just stated the obvious."

He smirked,but soon his expression turned into a serious one.

I glanced next to me,but turns out Kate sensed his presence and went back inside the water.

"(Y/N).We need to talk."

"Let me guess,about Ben?"

"He is dangerous,he is trying to get back at you so he can use you!"

My hand turned into a fist,his long fingers brushing through his dark purple hair,as he looked into my eyes.

"Tonight,is the ball."

"I am not going."

"Fine,then let's meet somewhere."

"Why?"I huffed,standing up but his tall figure blocked my way.

"Please,just for tonight."

I exhaled deeply,rolling my eyes.

"Whatever,come if you want.I will be in my house anyways."

The line on his lips turned into a smile,showing slightly his fangs.

Why is it beating?

It is beating so fast as if i ran for days and i am out of breath.

My chest felt heavy,and i tried to calm myself.

He just,smiled.

He is just smiling,showing those cute little fangs.

I chuckled.

He tilted his head,his dark cheeks were slightly turning pink for some reason.

"Why are you laughing?"

"I just remembered that these fangs aren't your adult fangs,baby fangs."

His cheeks blushed more,huffing as he gazed away.

"Shut up."

I playfully punched his shoulder,ruffling his hair.

The bell suddenly chimed,making me slightly flinch.

"Oh shoot,I just remembered.My class is on the other side of the building!"

He grinned,turning around showing me his back.

"Hop on,I will take you there."

"Last time you did that i almost threw up because of your fast vampire running."

I crossed my arms as he pouted.

"I will take it easy.Now hop on!"

I rolled my eyes but I couldn't help but smile,hopping on his back for a piggy back ride.

"Welcome to fast express with Vincent.Buckle up,because it might be a bumpy ride!"

I slightly gripped his purple shirt,as he fast ran outside of the pool area.

"We are live on the streets as the parade of the Union Day is going on!

Mortals and all kinds of creatures are dancing around and celebrating the day that united the two worlds 50 years ago.

This is indeed an incredible day to remember as-"

I turned off the TV,making me sigh.

I let my body fall on my bed,softly groaning.

Vincent will be here at any moment.

My cheeks got warm,making me nuzzle against the pillow.

God,even if i do like him,how my dad will take it?

Mom is very open minded,but dad?He doesn't like all the creatures.

The sound of the doorbell was echoing in the whole house,making me slightly jump.

I checked the time,smiling knowing he is on time.

I rushed towards the door,smiling and maybe blushing a little,as I opened the door.

But my smile disappeared.

"Good evening,Mortal."

I frowned.

"Goodbye,Ben."

I was about to close the door but he placed his foot,stopping it as he opened it again.

"What do you want?"

But,then i noticed it.

His eyes.

His irises were black as his pupils were red.

I backed away,feeling my lower back hitting a tall table that was near the door.

"I tried the nice,I tried the calm way,but nothing.I guess we will have to do it in the hard way."

He grinned,leaning closer towards me.

"Why are you insisting so much?!I don't get you,you can have someone else."

He chuckled deeply,his face was slightly burying on the crook of my neck as his blonde hair brushed against my cheek.

"You are so tempting (Y/N),your skin,the blood that is pumping inside your body.When you broke up with me,I got so angry.So angry that I wanted to eat you."

My eyes went wide.

My hands were trembling.

My right hand felt the vase on the tall table,as i grabbed it and with a swift motion i landed it on his head,kicking him back.

"You bastard!I knew it!I was a meal to you all along!"

I huffed,seeing him on the floor and ran outside.

Why Vincent isn't here already?!

Before I could cross the road,I felt a hand covering my mouth as he brought me closer to his body.

"It is like you never learn." Ben chuckled,dragging me towards the back of my house.

He pressed me against a tree,as his hand wrapped around my throat.

I gasped for air,clawing at his hand.

He grinned widely,his eyes were so wide that black tears started running down his cheeks.

A large hand grabbed his hair,yanking him back.

He let go of my neck,and i was coughing up and trying to breathe.

I lifted my head up,seeing Vincent holding him from his hair as he pushed him down on the ground with force.

"(Y/N)!" He ran towards me,holding me close.

"I am fine,don't worry."I was patting his shoulder,standing up.

His fingers gently caressed my neck,seeing the red handprint that was laying there.

He growled,looking over to the blonde male.

"I knew it he would try something."He looked over to me,as I was leaning against the tree."Do you believe me now?"

He leaned closer,resting his hand on the tree trunk.

But his grip was so tight from anger,that made a part of it to be removed.

I blinked,slightly scared but surprised.

But the ghoul didn't give up.

He grabbed Vincent from behind,throwing him to the other side.

My jaw clenched,grabbing the part of the tree trunk that fell on the ground.

As soon as he turned around,I moved the pointy part towards his eye,making him scream.

Black and red blood started spilling out as Vincent fast ran next to me,grabbing Ben and vanishing inside the woods.

I exhaled deeply,brushing my hair back.

I let myself sit on the grass,panting heavily.

That was something.

Hopefully nothing bad happens.

My thoughts were interrupted my footsteps,looking in front of me.

The tall figure emerged from behind the trees,smiling widely as blood was running from his lips.

I felt the breath inside my throat being trapped,standing up.

"Vincent,you didn't."I let my voice trail off,not knowing how to continue.

He chuckled,easing up my nervousness.

"I only bit his hand,like a warning."He sighed,ruffling his hair."Too bad,I wanted to open his skull and drink all the blood out of him,but I thought of you so I stopped myself."

My cheeks slightly flushed red,making me look away with a pout.

Idiot.

"Are you okay?" He walked closer towards me,checking if i was injured anywhere else.

His fingertips stopped at my neck once again.

"Your neck is so bruised up."

My eyes looked up at him,swallowing hard as our bodies were already pretty close.

His long fingers laid upon my pulse,feeling it as my heart was going fast even from the sight of him.

His cheeks turned slightly red,biting his bottom lip.

"No wonder he wanted to eat you."

My cheeks turned even redder,looking away as I was getting really embarrassed at this point.

His hand was already on my neck,so he slowly moved my chin towards him,looking me into my eyes.

I could feel him staring into my soul,seeing things that i couldn't.

But when i looked at his eyes.

I saw nothing.

No life.

How many things your eyes have seen hundreds of years now?It is so crazy.

He lowered his head,softly placing kisses along my neck making me gasp.

His fang gently brushed against my shivering skin,but it didn't hurt.

He exhaled deeply,gripping my body close to his.

I panted softly,but then our eyes locked again.

Our noses slightly pecked each other.

Our lips were softly caressing each other before meeting for a gentle kiss.

His lips were so soft,and thinking of how disgusting the blood would be,I actually didn't feel it at all.

He slowly pulled away,placing a small kiss on the tip of my nose,making me chuckle.

"You mortal,look what you did to me."

I softly laughed,wrapping my arms around his neck.

"You baby fangs are unbelievable.I like it."

I pecked his nose slightly with a smile,before closing the gap again with another kiss.
