My grandfather's clock was too large for the shelf
So it stood ninety years on the floor
It was taller by half than the old man himself
Though it weighed not a pennyweight more...

My legs slowly moved back and forth.

My eyes were focusing on the morning sky,humming the tune as i was sitting on the bench outside of school.

A small breeze brushed against my skin,making me close my eyes as i sighed.

Just a little more and school will be over.

As i was letting the sunlight to lay upon my face,a figure passed by,sitting next to me.

I fluttered my eyes open,looking at the boy next to me with a smile.

"Still waiting for them i see."Scott chuckled,making me roll my eyes.

"If they didn't have my books and notes i would have left already.It is almost time for class."

I sighed with frustration,checking my phone for the time.

Then my attention turned at the tall male,who was brushing his dark brown hair with his long fingers.

"Hey,do you want to hang out tonight?"

I smiled,as his brown eyes looked at me but then glanced away,as if almost quickly.

"Tonight?"He hummed in thinking,rubbing nervously his wrist as he looked around.

I squinted my eyes,noticing how nervous he was always recently.

"Is something going on Scott?"

"No,just,i really can't tonight.Family stuff."

He gave me a weak smile before he lowered his head.

"You always say no to me lately.Did i do something wrong?"My hand rested on top of his,making his gaze to meet mine."You can always talk to me."

His brown eyes shifted and his lips parted,but then he pulled his hand away.

"Oh look!The guys are here!"

He said with an awkward chuckle,turning my head and noticing them at the end of the sidewalk, slowly approaching.

"Damn,i wouldn't have seen them from that far away.But."I looked back at him."Don't change the subject."

"(Y/N)."He sighed,almost huffing as she noticed the irritation on his face."I don't want to talk about it with you."

I blinked,leaving me surprised,but also a bit hurt.

"I am sorry then,for telling you everything and trusting you like no one else."

I stood up,hearing him sigh as he stood up as well.

"(Y/N),please,you won't-"

"Good morning everyone!"I interrupted him,waving at the three guys who were approaching.

"Good morning,(Y/N)!" Fritz said with a smile,holding some books in his hands.

He handed them to me,pushing his round glasses up to his nose."Thank you for letting me borrow them,they really helped me and Jeremy study!"

His freckled cheeks slightly blushed,as the shorter boy next to him handed me a notebook."Thank you (Y/N)."He said shyly,his green eyes were looking at me before he looked away,slightly blushing.

I couldn't help but chuckle,getting the books and notebook from their hands."It was no problem!If you need help with anything you can ask me,i will try my best to help you."

The two boys shyly nodded and blushed,as i noticed from the corner of my eye Mike,who was talking with Scott.

I softly huffed,hearing the school bell chiming.

As we were about to walk away,the sound of a car honking caught our attentions,turning our gazes back.

Purple car.

I wonder who it is.

I chuckled,shaking my head but noticed the passenger seat door opening along with the driver's.

"Are my eyes fucking around or what?"Mike said,almost surprised.

I was left with my mouth slightly open,looking at the two figures approaching us.

"Excuse me,but how you two survived inside the same car?"I asked,gazing at both of them.

She rolled her green eyes with a smile."Well,good morning to you of all too!"

My (colour) eyes moved towards Vincent,who was a bit annoyed.

"This dumbass lost the school bus and i gave her a lift,nothing much."

He played with his car keys between his large fingers and walked passed us.

"Anyways,let's go,we are already late!"

Kate turned me around and gently pushed my back,moving me inside the school as i was lost in my thoughts.

I didn't even notice her grabbing my books and opening my locker.

"(Y/N)?"

I slightly snapped out of it,looking at the famale who was holding a book towards me.

"Do you have english in first period?"

I blinked,turning my gaze inside the locker and then at her.

"Yes?"

She raised an eyebrow,crossing her arms."Something is definitely troubling you."

I huffed,rolling my eyes."I am fine,i just have too much to think about right now."

My lips built a small smile,as my body turned around and ready to walk away.

But then she gently grabbed my arm,pushing me against the lockers as her hand rested next to  my head,looking at me straight into my eyes.

"Not those games to me (Y/N)."

I felt my breath getting caught inside my throat,looking at her frowning face and clinging the book against my chest.

"Kate."

"I just want you to trust me.I want to help,so please,talk to me."

"I will but."My voice softly stuttered,swallowing hard."You are very close."

She blinked,gazing around at our situation and pulled away,resting her hands on her hips.

"Thank you."I smiled,having a little space exhaling deeply."Fine,i will tell you,but promise me you will keep it as one of those secrets that you don't even tell your dog,not even for a joke!"

She chuckled,shaking her head as she brushed her brown hair slightly to the side,looking at me again with a grin.

"Any secret is safe with me."

I took a deep breath,nodding as i gently grabbed her hand,moving her away from the hallway.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Somewhere private."

I glanced around the hallways,checking if anyone was around before moving towards the Janitor's Closet.

I opened the door,pushing her inside and then walked inside too.

My fingers searched on the wall,trying to find the switch as i felt her tall figure was pressing slightly against me,trying to find the switch too.

"Oh wait,found it."She suddenly said,flipping the switch and illuminating the small closet."Okay,Miss full of secrets,start talking."

She crossed her arms,making me more nervous as i rubbed my wrist.

"Promise me,that you won't laugh or get weirded out."

"(Y/N),have you met me?I am the epitomy of weirdness."She chuckled,but i gazed away.

"But not this level of weird."

From the corner of my eye i noticed her raising an eyebrow.

This is the time.

The time i will finally tell someone.

My deepest secret that i have been hiding months now.

"Kate,i have met someone."

"Aw,and you are too shy to tell me?Well,who is he?

I sighed,feeling the sweat rolling down my forehead."I don't know his name."

"How long have you two been talking?"

"Months now.I can't remember exactly."

I felt a hand on my shoulder,slowly lifting my eyes up at hers.

"(Y/N),i know there is more,please tell me.I feel like you are hiding me more than that."

"I am scared!"

She blinked surprised.

"I am scared of how you would react."My head hang low,her fingers went under my chin,slowly lifting my head up.

"I promise to the author inside me not to judge a single word that will come out of your mouth."She placed a hand on her chest,on the spot where her heart is,giving me soft smile."I promise."

My chest felt a bit light,and i just nodded.

"He is,different from us."

I looked into her eyes,clinging on the book like my dear life.

"He is a werewolf."

The girl in front of me blinked her eyes,taking a small step back as she slightly messed with her hair.

"And why he doesn't say his name?"

"To keep himself private so i won't look for him when he is a werewolf.I have tried many times to find him in his human form but his face in werewolf form,is always covered with hair,having that frowning expression and those tusks that are coming out from the bottom teeth."

"I see."

I looked at her face,deep in her thoughts as i tilted my head.

"Aren't you,weirded out or something?"

"No,why?"She looked at me,and i just simply shook my head.

"You have accepted it so casually like you know these creatures exist or something."

"Well,always expect the unexpected."

My lips parted,about to say something but the door opened,almost making me fall.

"I knew someone would skip class." 

My head turned at the janitor,having their arms crossed with a bucket and a mop next to them.

"Oh,hey Chris."I awkwardly laughed."Please don't report us to the principal?"

They rolled their eyes,smiling as the black piercing on their lip became noticeable.

"Get out,you are lucky i like you two."They chuckled,ruffling my hair as i sighed in relief.

"Let's not get more into trouble.We will talk at lunch."

"Wait,i have more things i wanted to tell you."

"Keep them for lunch."She gave me a tight hug before she rushed down the hallway,trying to find her class.

I was staring blankly at my tray with food.

I was sitting at the caferia waiting for Kate,but she was late.

"Hopefully she isn't in trouble."I mumbled to myself,taking a bite from the food.

"Who is in trouble?"

His voice made my spine to shiver,feeling his figure sitting next to me.

"Scott,go with your friends."

He sighed,as i noticed him clenching his fists.

"Look,i am sorry,i will explain soon what is going on okay?I am not ready."He rubbed awkwardly the back of his neck,watching him as i ate my food.

"I just wanted honesty,that is all.Trust and honesty.I thought we were friends but turns out i am something lower."

"(Y/N)!No that's not it,you don't understand how things are,this is a serious matter!It can seriously affect us."

"You know that i will never judge you Scott.Who was here throughout your life?Supporting you?Being that person that will come for comfort when you were feeling down?And what do i get in return?Secrets.Secrets from that one person i have said everything about me."

His brown eyes shifted,looking at me as his hand rested on me,gripping it tightly as his breathing was getting heavy,feeling nervous.

"This is all new to me but trust me,please.I am always here (Y/N)."

I huffed,yanking my hand away from his.

"When were you here for me?Do you have any idea how many nights i needed you because i was feeling like shit?The answer i always got was no,again and again."

His hands shakily reached for mine but i looked away,standing up.

"(Y/N)."

"We will talk when things get better,and you actually want to see me.I still care about you,but right now,i feel like i am nothing to you."

I grabbed my tray,leaving the table as i spotted Kate was walking with Jeremy and talking.

She noticed me,and turned to Jeremy.

"Hey Jerebear,i am going to talk to (Y/N) for a bit,i will be back to talk about the new season okay?"

The shy male nodded with a smile,walking off as she approached me.

"Hey,sorry,the teacher gave me a hard time but all good now."She scanned my face,worrying a bit."Are you good?"

"No."

I was gripping the tray so tightly my knuckles turned white.

She looked around,biting her lip."There is a table at the back,let's go and talk there."

I followed her tall figure,passing by some people as we reached the table.

"Tell me."She sat across me,looking at me as i lowered my head.

"The way Scott acts.I can't."

I cupped my face sighing.

"I really love him Kate,but after what he is doing now lately,rejecting every chance to hang out.I feel like i don't know him anymore."

I removed my hands from my face,looking at her.

"I think that i have feelings for the werewolf too."

Her lips slightly parted,about to say something but closed them again,letting me talk.

"Ever since i came across him,he is coming every night to my house,obviously from the window and my parents haven't encountered him which is good,and we talk all night and i really enjoy his company."

My teeth slightly tugged at my bottom lip,looking at my food but i was more lost in my thoughts.

"He seems to care,as if he is replacing Scott."

"Wow,(Y/N),you can't replace years of friendship with Scott with some werewolf guy you met some months ago."

I exhaled deeply,leaning back on the chair.

"If i have told you sooner you would have understood."

She tapped the fork against her plate,as she was thinking.

"I want to meet him."

"What."

"You heard me."She took a bite from her food,pointing the fork at me."I want to meet the werewolf guy.Is he coming tonight?"

I hesitantly nodded,making her smile.

"Good,prepare yourself as i will become the third wheel because i feel like he wants something else.But then again i don't know him,maybe he is a good guy."

"Oh he is!He is really funny and-"

She lifted her hand,making me stop."I will be the judge of that."

She gave me a small wink,before glancing behind me.

"What will you do with Scott?"

My jaw slightly clenched when i heard his name,clearing my throat.

"I will see.My feelings for him haven't changed,much."

"Please,don't rush to any actions you might regret."

I just nodded,stuffing my mouth with food,but i could feel it.

I could feel his eyes were burning on my back.

I looked at Kate,who was glancing behind me,and she looked back at me,giving me a simple nod.

I was nervously tapping my foot as i was looking outside of the window.

I glanced at my phone,checking the time as the bedroom door opened,making me turn my gaze.

"Did the wolf boy come already?Jesus,i am close to eating your whole fridge."

I chuckled,shaking my head.

"I am worried.He is late.He is never late!"

I heard chips being crashed,making me look at her as she was munching on some chips.

She stopped.

"Sorry."

I groaned,falling on my bed,face straight on the pillow.

"Do you want me to go out and get you something?"

I felt her sitting on the bed,as she kept munching on the chips.

"No,it is late too."

I sighed against the pillow,as the munching stopped again.

Her hand rested on my leg,slightly shaking it.

"(Y/N)?"

"What."

"I think a hairy Taylor Lautner is here."

I slowly lifted my head,looking at her confused.

"Oh for Christ's sake,werewolf boy is here!"

She pointed at the window,making me jump off the bed as i looked at the window,seeing a hairy silhooutte.

A huge smile appeared on my face,quickly opening the window.

"You came!I got so worried."

He stumpled inside,looking at me with those frowning chocolate brown eyes.

"(Y/N),we need to talk."

His hairy hands reached for mine,holding them close.

He noticed another figure on the bed,raising his bushy eyebrow as Kate waved at him with an awkward smile.

"Hello."

He frowned,turning his gaze at me."What the hell is she doing here?"

"I trust her,she-"

"I don't care if she is trustworthy or not!You told someone else,you promised you wouldn't!"

He huffed,his werewolf tusks were showing as his hands were clenched,"I can't trust you anymore."

My eyes went wide,tears were about to appear as he turned around but i grabbed his hairy arm,hugging it.

"Please no!Trust me on this one,she won't say a thing!Don't leave me!"

Another hand turned him around.

I noticed Kate was facing him,as he breathed heavily against her face.

"Hey,don't leave her because she had the need to talk to someone.By leaving means you are scared,i won't tell anybody.Why are you leaving like that,huh?If you really cared for her,you would stay,but now it seems you are running away."

"Stay out of this Kate,this is none of your business!"

He pushed me away.

I was about to explode from anger.

"No!I have had enough with everybody!I can't lose you too,i already feel like i lost my best friend today,and if i lose you too then i will have no one!"

His head slowly turned at me,trying to control myself.

"(Y/N),you don't understand the situation,is so complicated."

"Try and explain it to me,please!This is all i ask for."

His head was lowered,softly growling to himself as i felt a presence next to me.

"(Y/N),i know it may sound weird,but."She looked at me,softly whispering."He is someone we already know."

"What nonsense are you talking about?"I shook my head,rolling my eyes.

"He knew my name,and supposedly he haven't met me before."

I exhaled deeply,taking a step forward towards him,making his head to lift up.

"Who are you?"

"I don't think you are ready for that (Y/N)."

"If i am not now,when will i be?"

He gazed me and then at himself,before looking back at me.

"Can she leave?"

He glanced behind me,as i looked at Kate.

"Consider me already gone."With a smile,she took the bag of chips as she exited the room.

I sat on the bed with a sigh,as he followed and sat next to me.

"Well?"

I looked at my feet,slightly pouting but his hand rested on me.

"Look at me."

He slowly turned my body towards him,his hands were cupping my cheeks as we looked into each other's eyes.

"Don't get your eyes off of me."

I simply nodded,feeling his hands resting on my hands,gripping them tightly.

And we sat there.

Looking into each other deeply.

Until,the sunlight slowly started illuminating the room.

 He was always leaving before sunlight,because as he said that is when he is changing to his human form.

The grip on his hands tighten,seeing him getting nervous as the hair around his body started disappearing.

His frowny expression turned into a more relaxed one,his bottom tusks disappeared as well,with a familiar face starting to appear.

My lips slightly parted,my eyes were wide as if i didn't believe it.

"Scott?"

He sighed deeply,rubbing the back of his neck.

"I am sorry."

"But,why.I have so many questions."

He chuckled,looking at me in the eyes.

"It is a long story,but i wanted to say that i was always there for you.I had this planned,but never really had the courage to tell you it was me.But i made a mess."

He lifted his body up,walking away from me.

"I understand if you don't want to see me again."

His hands touched the window,but i couldn't help but slightly chuckle.

He turned his head towards me,having a confused expression.

"All this time,i was loving the same person.And all that was covering it some extra hair."

My fingers reached my hair,slightly brushing them back as his expression was now more relaxed and surprised.

"Loving?"He asked,almost shocked as he was gripping the window handle really tightly.

A small smile built along my lips,standing up and wrapping my arms around his tall figure,feeling his arms around my body,twirling me around as we softly laughed.

We looked at each other,my forehead was pressing against his as we were slightly laughing,looking into each other's eyes.

My teeth slightly pulled my bottom lip,examining his facial features before focusing on his lips.

His long fingers gripped slightly my clothes,as if bringing me closer.

Without realising it,my lips laid upon his.

Our lips danced together,as my fingers felt his soft hair and his fingers were slightly pressed against my back.

He moved my body backwards,my legs hit gently the bed as he carefully laid me on the (colour) bedsheets,getting on top with his fingers dancing along my body.

His lips traveled along my jawline,and then at my neck,making me softly gasp as i slightly gripped his hair.

"Scott."I said,almost out of breath from his deep kisses.

He softly growled against my neck,his brown eyes looking up at my eyes as a blush was visible on my cheeks.

"Let's take this slow,okay?"

I bit my lip nervously,but i felt relieved seeing him smile.

"Of course,i am sorry."

He laid himself next to my body,placing kisses along my forehead and nose.

I softly giggled,feeling my arms were sneaking around his body and bringing him close.

He embraced me back,holding me tightly as he nuzzled his nose against my hair.

"Thank you."

I looked up at him confused.

"For what?"

"For staying."

Another blush dusted upon my cheeks,making me nuzzle my face against his torso.
