Henry Emily

Henry Emily was born in the Americas to a more well-off family. After graduating high school, he married Charlotte Emily and a few years later they decided to take a trip to the UK as a vacation. They happen upon Fredbear's Family Diner, owned by William Afton. Henry offers him a partnership to open a child-oriented pizzeria in the States. William agrees and Henry travels back home.

Charlotte bears a daughter, who was named Charlotte as well, dubbed Charlie. Henry and Afton open Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, but children start disappearing so Henry and William are forced to shut down. A few tears later, Henry opens a new Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria with new animatronics that are much better at keeping the kids safe, including "The Puppet", his own design. But soon after opening, Charlotte is murdered in the back alley mysteriously.

Henry closes the store for a little while in grief and begins a smoking habit. A little while after, Michael Afton comes to live with him after his father injected him with soul remnant. Henry figures that William caused the murder of his daughter, so he sends the police after him, which doesn't work because Afton snuck away.

After a few years, Michael receives a letter from Afton so Henry tells Michael to follow its instructions and do what his father asks. While Michael is away, Henry falls ill with lung cancer. He quits smoking as a result.

After his recovery from cancer, more children disappear from the new location so he shuts the place down. A few years later, he opens another Freddy's location in the same building as the first one. The location was eventually shut down due to critics, the health department, and the dead employee found in a safe room.

Henry goes on to try to investigate Afton's disappearance again, but 30 years pass to no avail.

After this long, a new Freddy's attraction opens in a theme park and Henry sees it on the news. The owner of the attraction offers him a job as a franchisee to a new Fazbear Entertainment. Henry agrees and designs one last animatronic made to capture the Puppet.

In his location, he lures the remaining mascots to the building, before burning all of them and himself in the building.

***

Henry was my idea of the "Cheerful American Dad". So I wrote him that way.

Personally, he was really fun to write in the first book. Eventually, having to write him in grief was hard because of how he felt for Charlie. He couldn't be happy like he used to anymore.

Besides that, he's definitely more of a side character. His motives for wanting to die are more unknown, but I'd like to think that since both of the best women in his life were gone, he couldn't find a reason to live.

Most of his story is in the summary above or in the series, so it won't be too much info here.

For those of you wondering about his whereabouts in the 30-year break, it's most researching Afton and living a normal life. He's not a business owner anymore, so he gets a break.

Onto the next extra!
