Chapter 1
William felt himself sitting in a chair. He opened his eyes and saw a desk in front of him, littered with junk and an old metal fan.
He surveyed his surroundings. The room was decorated eclectically, mostly with fun decorations. He recognized all of the bits of memorabilia from his career with Fazbear Entertainment. Then he looked down.
"Where's my body?" he asked aloud.
"Oh, you don't recognize your human form anymore?" said the voice of Charlie. "That's too bad. You're dead, if you didn't notice. Remember the fire?"
Afton struggled to recall the intense heat that engulfed him and his surroundings, with Henry's voice speaking in the distance.
"I thought I'd gone to hell."
Charlie sighed. "Not quite. Now, you're in hell."
Afton laughed. "Well if this is hell, I think I'm going to like it here quite a bit."
"Not so fast. Gabriel?"
Just then, Freddy Fazbear rushed into the room and tore into Afton's skull, spreading his remains all over the floor.
"Did I do good Charlie?"
Charlie appeared in front of the desk. "Yes, of course you did! Now, Cassidy, reset the room."
Cassidy appeared beside her and waved her hand. The alarm clock on the desk reset to midnight and Afton's remains were cleared.
"Now what?"
Charlie made a clipboard appear. "Bring him back." Cassidy waved her hand again and Afton reappeared in the chair.
Cassidy smirked and said to Afton, "Maybe you get the gist now. Survive. Or at least try to. I'll be pulling most of the strings in the background, while Charlie handles all the front work. Capische?" Cassidy disappeared.
Charlotte vaporized the clipboard. "Good luck, 'Uncle Afton'."
William looked under the desk. He found an empty Freddy mask and a camera pad.
"Darn it."
For the next few hours, William was murdered by his creations and reconstituted forcefully. Sometimes he'd last longer than before, but for the most part, it always ended in death.
They taunted him as he perished each time. Even the hallucinations that he gave his son would torment him.
The suffering became dull to him. As hours turned to days and days turned to weeks, death didn't scare him anymore. Weeks turned to months. Then Afton came up with an idea.
