To prevent confusion, I will refer to Edward Elric by "Edo-san" and her cat by "Ed" that is all.

I hear a mew, followed by a whooshing sound, and four weights on my stomach. I've been woken up like this for the past three days, we took Ed home from the Adoption Center four days ago. I lift up a hand and stoke his fur. He gives a content purr. A 'm'rrow' comes as I roll over and force him off. He settles into his usual spot next to me, with his furry side against my bare arm.

I grab my iPad and start playing Hearthstone. My iPad's case has a keyboard on the inside and when I open it, the bottom of my iPad connects with a magnet at a forty-five degree angle.

After a few matches and a lot of Three Days Grace, I get up and make my way to the kitchen. I don't see anyone on my way there. I grab a box of pocky and make some shrimp-flavored ramen. I grab a bowl and pour some milk in it for Ed. I muse to myself about Edo-san not liking milk. I head back to my room.

Upon re-entering my room, I place the bowl of milk near the walk-in closet door and sit in my swivel chair. I set my food down on my desk but wait for it to cool off a bit. Burning myself on ramen is not fun. Ed pads over to the bowl of milk from my bed. He takes one sniff, and backs away with his nose scrunched up in disgust. I couldn't help but burst out laughing. Ed looks at me with his head cocked to the side a little like a confused puppy.

"Just like Edo-san, huh?" I mumble, allowing myself a tiny smile.

He meows and pads over. He rubs himself against my bare lower leg. I lean down and stroke his back while he purrs.

I eat my ramen and then sit on the edge of my bed with my iPad on my thighs. I decide to re-watch FMA. I get through about half the series before sleep was needed.
