Edward slept in his bed, shirt rolled up showing off his abs. Envy waited until Edward was surely to be asleep. He knocked over the jar keeping the little parasite enclosed. It landed on the floor with a soft clink. Envy started to hover from the ground and snuck out the open window. He flew across the darkness hiding in the shadows of the night.

"Envy? Your back."

"I knew you would be here, Lust." Envy sat in a corner watching Lust ruffle her feathers with her beak.

"I saw Greed. That son of a bitch. Who would have knew he ended up with a girl?" Lust shook her head.

"Father's worried about you. Trying to get you back from..." His mouth blew bubbles at the attempt of saying his owners name in her place.

"Fuck. I hate this rule. It's one of our sacrifices."

"Are you going back with us? How clumsy are you to lose your miraculous? But I suppose your lucky."

"Tell Father I'm going to keep an eye on a certain blond and Greed. I have something in mind for them."

"Interesting~"

"Lust?" A little koala bear peaked out from the corner. "Who is Lusty talking to?" Gluttony looked around and saw no one.

"It seems our brother has come out to play."

"Greed?" Lust nodded. "Can I eat him?"

"No you may not. Come, let's tell father the news."

At the house Edward was just waking up. Envy was still in the jar that the blond put on top of him. Envy was staring at Edward, unblinking.

"Don't you sleep?" Edward muttered creeped out. The eyes keeper looking at him, unmoving until he tripped on the floor, then the dots followed him. "Stop it!" Edward flicked the jar. The closet was opened filled with black t-shirts and jeans.

"Idiot." Envy scoffed and looked away crossing his tiny doll like arms. Alphonse knocked on the door.

"You okay, brother? I heard something fell.

"Its fine. I rolled the wrong way."

"Oh, big brother," Alphonse opened the door slightly. "Mustang wanted to see you today since you missed yesterday. Something urgent."

"Thanks Al." Alphonse shut the door. Edward put on a new change of clothes underneath his signature red hood. Edward removed the jar and put Envy in his hood despite the lizards attempt to flee.

"What are you doing?!" Envy screeched.

"I can't leave you here can I? Someone might find you."

"Good."

"Now look who's the idiot. If someone finds you they might experiment on you." After Edwards comment Envy Stayed quiet. Ever so often on the street he looked in his hood to make sure Envy was still in there. He was sleeping, curled up around himself in a cute ball of scales.

Edward was hardly welcomed when he came in the office. Riza Hawkeye would wave at him but that was all. Mustang would be arriving any moment to lecture him of god knows what. He couldn't stop day dreaming of what happened yesterday. Edward thought he saw his mother but that was unlikely. She died when he and Alphonse were young. It wouldn't hurt anything just to look at the young woman's face. Run towards them, the breeze felt good on his face until he was forced to come to a stop. Something black with a red triangle caught on his foot. He pulled and pulled to get his foot released but the band was stronger than him. Edward cursed, quickly riding himself of the substance. He looked around for the woman but he found nothing. He picked up the band from the muddy ground and put it in his pocket so no one else would get caught on it. Little did he know he was going to use it when the ponytail from his braid was going to break from being stretched too far. The sting hurt his fingers.

"Hey!" Mustang looked at Edward displeased. "Are you still sick that you can't recognize me?" Edward shook his head. "Good. There was a giant chicken-"

"Parrot sir."

"Er...Parrot attacking the citizens until someone caught sight of two masked girls fighting it off until it was gone. There has been no sightings of the bird as of late but be careful Elric. As a warning you'll never know what may happen." Mustang left. Edward could hear a small giggle coming from behind his ear.

"Two masked girls" Envy repeated. Edward swatted at Envy and growled.

"That's Enough."
