Mikayla lay down, her side burned, and there was blood all over her. She felt the hot tears running down her face, she started glitching due to her telekinesis. She closed her eyes, letting sleep take her in its icy claws.

"Let me explain to you why it's important we find these people." A woman said, her hair was a honey colour, her eyes were a rare amber.

"We've found two already." A man said, he had black hair, his eyes were gray.

"H-Hello..." Mikayla called out, a look of fear in her eyes.

"Look, it's one of them." The man said in an evil laugh, pulling out a gun.

Mikayla teleported to the other side of the room, away from him. He turned back towards her, shooting the gun, she ducked as it almost hit her head.

"W-who are you?" Mikayla gasped, her sides heaving.

"That's none of your business." The woman said, picking up a knife and walking towards Mikayla.

Mikayla tried teleportation but it didn't work, she was stuck, the woman dug the knife into her side, blood poured out around her as Mikayla collapsed, her dark world fading.
