(Some of the information in here is based off of IRL stuff. FYI)

Skye just sat there, fiddling with her boba until Rubie came out with a strawberry milk tea, which happened to be the same shade of pink that their sweater was.

Skye stood up and brushed her skirt off.

"We ready to go?"

Denki, Jiro and Wilda all nodded, and the five of them headed off to a park nearby.

"So, why are you in Japan?" Skye inquired, poking Rubie in the arm.

"Oh! I got into U.A! It took a while for my family to move so I missed the first few days, huh?" Rubie rubbed the back of their neck, nervously laughing.

"Oh, what course?"

"Hero course. Class 2-B."

(Writers note: Rubie is 10-11 months older than me irl, so I'm making it the same in the story <3)

Skye gasped. "We're all hero course students!"

Rubie slightly pumped a fist in the air and said "wooo!"

Wilda turned around. "So, Rubie, how long have you and Skye known each other?"

"About 4ish years now." Rubie shrugged.

"Damn, that long already?" Skye was shocked.

Rubie nodded, and then they continued heading on down to the park.

~~~~~flashback~~~~~
~~~~~2 years ago~~~~~~

Skye hung the photo of her, Rubie and Rem on the wall, embracing it with gentle care.

"Decorating almost done?" Her mom wondered, walking in.

"Almost!" Skye responded while adjusting the angle of the photo. "Is it uneven to you?"

Her mom moved and looked at the photo. "Nope. It's good."

Skye stepped down off the ladder she was standing on, sighing and grabbing string lights out of a box on the floor. She proceeded to get back on the ladder and hang them up on the wall, about 2 inches from the ceiling.

"Looking great in here!" Her mom cheered, stretching.

"Mhm." Skye mumbled.

"Hey, you have school in a hour, you need to get dressed."

"SHIT-"

"No cussing!"

Skye shoved her mom out of the room, shut the door, and quickly put on the female uniform she had received a week before. She then packed her bag full of school supplies and a sketchbook or two, then zipped it up and ran into the living room, putting her shoes on.

"I gotta go! I love you!"

"Love you too, Skye! See you after school! "

She hugged her mom and brother, then ran out the door.

She made sure her phone was on her before leaving the complex and speeding down the stairs.

Checking the time, she stopped by the convenience store on the way to her new school.

A bell rang as she walked through the door. She headed to the drink section, grabbing a melon soda, then heading to the checkout, grabbing a bag of gummies on the way.

"725 yen." The clerk sighed.

(725 yen is roughly 7.25 US dollars)

She slammed 800 yen on the counter.

"Can you split a 800?"

The clerk huffed, snatching the money and giving her back 75 yen.

"Thank you!" She yelled, speeding to the door and running outside.

About 30 minutes later, she arrived at the school, nervous and sweaty.

She went inside, wandering around until she found a teacher.

"Excuse me, ohayo, uhm, what do I do about my shoes?"

The teacher, her long hair pulled back in a bun, turned to her, smiled, then showed her to her shoe locker.

(I think they are shoe lockers? Google Japanese school culture and you'll see"

She thanked the teacher. "Arigato!" She quickly put her shoes away and swapped them out with the school shoes that were in the foot locker.

Once she had finished, she went to find her class. Once she found it, she froze, took a deep breath, and headed inside.

The class wasn't fully full, but there were a healthy amount of students in there, laughing and chatting. Except for two people.

A light orange-haired girl and a dark-green haired boy.

The girl was on her phone, while the boy was writing in his notebook.

She got curious and walked over to the green haired boy.

"Hey, whatcha writing?"

He jumped back a little.

"O-oh! I'm writing information about pro heroes!"

Skye gasped . "Are those they suits and costumes they wear?"

"Yeah! Sorry, what's your name?"

"Skylar Richardson. You?"

"Izuku Midoriya."

Skye pulled out a pen and paper from her bag, drew a flower, then tapped the page, a small flower blooming out of the page and falling onto the desk.

"Pleased to meet you. "

"Whoa! You gott-"

"Class is starting!" The teacher had announced .

Skye quickly sat next to the orange -haired girl, since it was the only empty seat.

She was excited for her first day, but it didn't stay butterflies and rainbows.
