4. fool! ya, fool!

The first time she met White Zetsu was about 5 years ago. A lot has happened in the meantime, still she could remember as if it was yesterday. Like the last time, the pale creatures were gathered in a large group. She couldn't tell what they were up to, and asking would be a complete waste of time. After all, White Zetsus were absolutely good for nothing, well, except for spreading their unpleasant scent.

The rancid smell almost made her puke up her delicious lunch, and being in a cave didn't make it any better. On the contrary, it seemed to intensify the stench.
Her stomach grumbled. Oh no. Before the ugly beings could sense her presence, she commanded a ninjutsu 'Lightning Style Bullet: Ibuki', by performing the 'ram' handseal. Suddenly, a condensed surge of lightning unleashed in her right fist. Rapidly thrusting it forwards, her opponents were struck by a powerful lightning bolt.

A grin appeared on her face when her eyes scanned the area and more than half of the army was on the floor, unable to move. With that attack the Zetsus awakened from their slumber. In an instant, they charged at the foreigner with a variety of different taijutsu techniques, all relying on their physical stamina. Now, hand-to-hand combat wasn't her speciality. In her opinion, it required a ton of physical energy and produced too much sweat. The memory of Toneri-sensei swatting her right on the head, when she would complain about taijutsu training, brought a smile to her face. He would always remind her that chakra cannot be taken for granted and that she needed to learn how to 'fight properly' if she were to run out of chakra. His words had motivated her then, she wanted to prove herself. So, she trained whenever she could, even when he wasn't there, even when there was nothing to train for...

To her right she sensed one of the emotionless beings about to do a tail kick, she blocked it with ease and threw him a punch, before hurling him into another Zetsu who was about to strike. On the other side another Zetsu tried knocking her out with a gigantic rock, luckily she was agile enough to dodge. With her superhuman speed she surprised him with an uppercut and then finished him off with a blow to his stomach.

"Who's next?" She joked, whilst alternating between blocking and beating.

Slowly, the girl was getting tired of mere punching, jabbing and kicking. She could feel the first sweat-drops started to trickledown her forehead. Sorry, sensei! She could've ended this fight ages ago, yet the white-haired decided to stick with taijutsu.

It was time to turn this fight up a notch. Now, what she needed was a simple ninjutsu attack. Most of her jutsus were too extra, she wasn't certain if her chakra seal and, more importantly, this cave would hold. After contemplating for a second, she effortlessly performed the hand seals 'tiger, snake, dog'.
"Lightning Style: Lightning Strike!" The created electric current was capable of hitting multiple individuals at the same time. Moreover, the current specifically targeted the users opponents, thus avoiding obstacles.

In a matter of seconds, they were swept off their feet, leaving her the only one standing. Seen as the girl didn't kill the Zetsus no trees grew, they were just unconscious...Still she wanted to make sure they stay that way.
Dog, Hare, Tiger, Hare, Rat. "Chakra Release Sealing", did the trick to unarm them, every bit of chakra was taken away from them and released into their surroundings. Furthermore she added a "Genjutsu Sealing Method", a seal which put them in a genjutsu-like state. The difference between this seal and a regular genjutsu was that only an experienced fūinjutsu user could break the seal.

That was far too easy, she shook her head, slightly disappointed from the fight. Not wanting to accidentally step on one of the Zetsus, she used the body-flicker technique to escape the appalling sight. Once sunlight graced her figure, she automatically took a deep breath of fresh, crisp air.
"Where was I again?" She had wasted precious time taking care of those nuisances. Right now, she was supposed to be elsewhere...namely, a safe distance away from the building in which the so-called Raikage was located.

Deciding to continue with her actual plans, she used the shunshin no jutsu once more to head back. But not before making sure her chakra was sealed off properly. This Raikage was located in the tallest building far and wide, for further protection the construction was surrounded by gigantic rocks; it would be hard to find a good observation spot.
Not far from the hidden alley, where the jutsu took her, she spotted a weak spot in the shinobis protocol, yet a perfect spot for any intruder. As she walked towards the place, she examined possible exit routes and blind spots, pretending to cherish her surroundings. The spot she chose was the roof of a common room. Many people were gathered in there, mostly villagers and a handful of chakra-wielders. She wasn't worried about them; they were too distracted by everything that was going on in the room: Loud music, cheering, laughing, you name it. She used all this distraction to swiftly climb up the roof from which the green-eyed had a good view of the entrance. There was no use of getting closer in order to peek into the windows, seen as they were reflective. All she had to do momentarily was wait and observe.

Now that she had time, she finally had the chance to take in the scenery. The whole village looked like it was built on floating rocks! In the centre was a lush park, where lots of kids were playing around, not a care in mind. Right in front stood the common room; packed, loud, yet refreshing. The park was surrounded by offices or boutiques. The main compound stood behind the community lounge, which in her opinion had the function of a barrier between pleasure and seriousness. Most buildings could easily be mistaken as skyscrapers. Passing clouds would make them disappear every now and then. The apple green leaves on the many trees contrasted the tall structures flawlessly. This town was really something else.

She was so fascinated by her surroundings, she almost missed that two figures had exited the Raikage's building. Luckily, their voices caught her attention:
"B-sama, Raikage-sama is right. With that man still wandering around, I'm afraid the risk is too high. I advise you not to leave Kumogakure by yourself, like the last time...At least bring Omoi with you," a woman with blue eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair cut in an asymmetrical bob style, spoke seriously. She looked bored, her aloof expression only affirmed the girl's assumption.

The tall, fair-skinned woman with a curvaceous figure was walking beside a muscular, dark-skinned man with platinum hair who wore oval shaped sunglasses paired with a white-coloured forehead protector. On closer look, she saw that he had two tattoos. One on his right shoulder, a kanji for "iron", and another on his left cheek. It looked like a half of a bull's horn. She was very intrigued by his appearance.

"You know my name, you know my fame, don't be lame! Eight Tails, that's me, da rappin, Killer Bee. Ya know my force, of course, from the source! Step aside and prepare to be petrified. He ain't got nothin' on my rhymes, fool! Ya fool!" The man answered. The way he talked shocked her, it didn't match his outer look.

The blonde didn't seem fazed by his rhyming.

"Let me remind you that the Nanadaime & Shadow Hokage don't have much free time on their hands. Wouldn't it be a waste of time to travel that far only for a couple of minutes?" The woman with the stern face asked.

"Yo, Naruto Uzumaki is a major component. Right from the top he's a worthy opponent. And this guy with funky eyes, Sasuke Uchiha, wouldn't wanna be ya! Powerful gaze with eyes pitch black. You mess with the G's, and B will sting ya right back! We're heading out, tell Omoi at three by the trees." Again this shinobi replied in a sort of rap-tone before he speed-walked away from the lady who was shaking her head.

The green-eyed girl hiding on the roof found his rapping quite amusing. It even brought a genuine smile to her lips.

Although she couldn't figure out what the message of his rhyming was, she was able to pick up some useful information: She now knew that she was located in Kumogakure in the Land of Lightning. The Raikage was probably the leader, sort of like Otsutsukitarine no Miko-sama, king of the Otsutsuki clan and father of Kaguya. And this Killer B called himself "Eight Tails"...How weird.
Yet what was more important, was that this Killer Bee was acquainted with the Uchiha she had fought awhile back! Sasuke Uchiha. Pitch black eyes, powerful gaze, she was sure he was rambling about the Mangekyō, there was no mistaking it. B also mentioned a Naruto Uzu-something being a worthy opponent of his. The thought of fighting someone powerful made her feel all giddy, like a little girl opening presents.

She was so lost in her thoughts, she almost forgot why she was actually here in the first place! Find Boruto, extract Momoshiki-san's chakra and bring it to Toneri-sensei. Simple, right? But deep down she knew, pinpointing that brat wasn't going to be easy; she needed a new plan. Her eyes fluttered shut as the wheels in her head twisted and turned, trying to think of a more efficient strategy.

She didn't want to admit it, but she needed help. Preferably from someone who knew their way around earth, unlike her. The Raikage was not an option. The only way to win his assistance was to get to him without seeking attention and hurting any of his guards. Nothing she wasn't capable of, yet extremely time consuming. A sigh escaped her lips, as her right hand tucked a strand behind her ear. "How bothersome."

She felt somewhat frustrated that she didn't have the chance to meet this Raikage. However she had a job to complete...and her eyes were set on a certain Killer B who had planned on heading out lacking any guards. She hoped he didn't mind her tagging along!
