Human with Wings - SuperWing.

****

A/N: I did mention trying new and unpopular ships. Superman, Clark x Dick, was one of those ships I wanted to try writing.

This will be my first try at writing this ship. Please show some mercy and try to not rip my throat out too much. I apologize if it ends up really terrible.

I'll be honest, I've always seen Superman/Clark as one of Dick's oldest friends in life. I like to think they're a bit like family as well. But looking into Clarkdick/Superwing ship when searching for new mxm ships involving Dick to try, this one caught my attention. I could see them working out as romantic partners in certain storylines.

****

A/N: I'll try to use their alien names. And in case anyone else is like me and easily forget their other names, I'll leave these as a note for you all to use when needed.

Clark/Kal - Superman.

Kon - SB (Don't judge my terrible naming skills)

Connor - Superboy

Jon -

Kara/Zor - Supergirl

Bizarro - Bizarro No.1

Kal-El wasn't overly sure over arriving to earth for the peace talks between Earth and Krypton. He knew why he was chosen, he did live half his life on earth before he was scooped back into space.

He still wasn't overly impressed with his parents sending him to earth once he was born to study Earth's culture and to be raised understanding humans better. To suddenly turn ten and be ripped from the only parents he had known, those that loved, cared and cherished him even when he was slightly different from most human children. To be taken from the family that accepted him with powers and forced back into a family who had expected him to easily welcome them into his lives.

He was never able to return to earth.

He wondered if anyone told his earth parents over the truth or if they were left assuming he was some runaway or kidnapped all this time. He wanted to visit, over half his life on Krypton had him wanting to run back to earth and stay forever.

But his space family grew and once his parents lost their lives during failed peace talks, he was left in charge of his family. He had a duty he must complete.

His blood parents had adored and loved him as much as his earth family had.

Kal still wouldn't have shipped his own child off to a random planet to half raise them before stealing them back and teaching them the correct "culture" over his true bloodline. To force him to live a life in space without the choice over what family to stay with.

But maybe that was due to him living on earth for ten years that he thought different to his planet and his planet's people. All of them seemed to have thought his blood parents idea to ship him to another planet to understand weaker races better was a brilliant life lesson to give.

And it's due to no one seeing anything odd or wrong with that thought progress that Kal-El worked hard to make sure none of his younger brothers or cousins were shipped off to another planet for the same life lesson he was forced to live through.

Kon might have been better to have been sent away due to not having gained all his powers even once hitting adulthood. It left him always feeling broken among their planet full of people who held abilities he'd never grow to have.

Connor didn't mind, he loved their planet. He was always trying to show off and be seen as cool as possible. Bragging over their El family name and living the life of being well respected and worshiped.

Thankfully his older cousin, Zor was always happy to help him with his duties or keeping an eye on the younger ones. More so their cousin Bizarro who was left in the El hands when their uncle had refused to accept him as his own son. Bizzarro was born by an fling as the humans might call it and Bizzarro has been left unwanted by both his blood parents, leaving him to be raised by his two older cousins all this time.

And then Jon.

His son.

A more recently development.

Kal-El really did love Lois and was happy to work with the earth's reporter sent to their planet during the early days of talking over a truce treaty with Earth. She had jumped onto an Justice League ship and got herself flown over straight away. Gaining the story before it hit any other planet and Kal fell for her.

But it was a love that would never last.

Lois lives for the stories, she was always a reporter at heart and settling down on a mostly peaceful planet like Krypton was never going to be for her. She broke things off rather quick and only stuck around once she learnt she was expecting their child. Giving up parental rights on earth and leaving their son in his hands before returning to earth.

Kal wasn't feeling great over returning to earth.

He wanted to check in on both Ma and Pa Kent, he's missed them deeply and worried over their heath since he was forcefully taken from them that day.

But he was here as Superman, the head of the El family.

He was here to complete his duty over gaining another truce and peace treaty with another planet that seemed worth helping to defend from worse planets that greedily stole and attacked weaker planets.

Kal knew Earth wasn't weak, he's kept an ear on the rumours over earth being strong and powerful. Over the heroes who had all gathered together to defend the planet from outsiders and their own evil doers.

Kal respected them, admired the human race.

He wanted a friendship with the planet he was raised on for ten years, it was his own selfish desire to gain peace with the planet.

More important he wanted to meet the man able to fly as if he held wings but was truly flying without wings.

He's heard other races talk over such a hero, knew the green lanterns had mentioned rumours over the years about such a human. Heck, Kal-El even spoke with an mostly drunk Green Lantern, Hal, he thinks the guy was called, one night and heard the stories over the man able to fly as if he held wings but held not a single wing in sight to his body after all.

The rumoured man had caught Kal's attention since the moment he first heard over the rumours.

This might be his only chance at finding the rumoured hero and finally getting to see him fly in person. Maybe even risk flying beside him at least once before he has to return to his planet.

"Do you think I'll get the chance to meet Wonder Women?" Zor hopefully asked as they were all stuck standing the smaller shutter heading towards the watch tower's hangar. All of them could have flown there themselves but the league had basically demanded they either used the shuttle or return to their planet for good.

"She is a main member of the league" Kal reminded her with an kind smile, knowing his older cousin admired the hero greatly.

"Do you think we'll have any trouble with the bat guy? He's well known even in space. He also doesn't trust others easily, makes it clear he don't trust others too. Is he actual going to give us a chance to form a peace treaty or are we going to be left mocked as a bunch of clowns?" Kon asked up with an worried frown, glaring down at his boots. They've all held the rumours over the dark knight and knew he'd be their biggest threat on earth. None of them were thrilled to meet the vigilante but knew they had no choice in the matter, he'd find them no matter how fast they ran.

Kon had been the most worked up over meeting Batman. He, Kal and Zor were the only real adults in the family and protecting the rest of the family fell to their shoulders. As well as knowing that they'd be watched none stop by the dark knight until he finds some type of "evidence" that proves they're threats to earth and should be removed straight away forever. Kon knew he had a temper, he was frightened over losing his one chance to fit in on an planet. Knowing he could merely pull of being a meta among earth compared to an Kryptonian on Krypto.

"Who cares what some grumpy hero thinks? We're practically gods to earth. We're going to be showered with affection" Connor scoffs back as he crosses his arms over his chest like the uncaring teenager he was.

"And now we know who the dark knight will murder first out of us. I'm not sharing a room with him, I'm not taking the risk of being accidently murdered because the Batman got the wrong bed" Kon sighs with an defeated shake of his head, already accepting his baby brother's death and making it clear he wouldn't be room sharing with him.

"He has a no kill rule" Kal pointed out to his family, yet again. Even if he was a little nervous over the dark knight finding ways to harm his family without killing them to keep to his one rule.

"He hasn't learnt how annoying our brother can be" Kon deadpanned as he dryly looked towards the youngest brother in the shuttle. Heck, Kon and Zor had both tried killing him during their own teenage years and Connor decided he was going to be an irritating and difficult toddler.

"Hey!" Connor cried back insulted, glaring towards his older brother who merely shrugged.

"I have heard that apparently the Batgirl is rather cute. My age too. Try to not make the dark knight too angry with us so I can try getting to know his co-worker. Might as well get some loving on this planet while I can" Zor perked up with an dreamy glint to her eyes, an overly sweet smile on her lips. Her stare turning serious and warning as she glanced towards the rest of her family, making it clear they couldn't mess up her chance with batgirl.

"I'm understanding where Connor learnt his bad behaviour" Kal admits with an grimace and finally understanding where Connor gained his personality from.

"I no want see birds fly" Bizarro spoke up, having heard rumours over birds flying as high as the "heaven's" on earth and how graceful they flew while their claws stayed deadly sharp that no predator survived against them.

"I'm sure we can ask over the birds once we're settled better at the watchtower. We may even gain the chance to meet the" Kal offered up with an supportive smile as he looked towards his barely an young adult cousin. Knowing he was a fan of the rumoured birds that flew at night.

"Nighty!" Jon cheered gleefully from Bizarro's arms.

"We're clearly not going home without seeing Kal's boyfriend otherwise he'd cry himself to death. So, don't worry, buddy, we'll meet this Nightwing dude. I'm sure you're Dada will even get a photo with him for you" Zor cheekily grinned as she skipped towards her tiny cousin, an sly shine to her eyes as she poked at her baby cousin's cheek. Promising a photo for him as she knew her cousin would try getting to know Nightwing up close and personal during their visit on earth.

"ZOR!" Kal cried back, shooing his older cousin away from his son before she says anything more embarrassing or private to him.

"She's not wrong" Kon commented with an shrug, everyone had caught on to his brother's huge crush on the hero.

"I'm not in love with him. I merely admire and respect him" Kal mumbled back, trying to save some of his reputation from his family.

Purposely ignoring all their unbelieving looks sent towards him, even the one from his own son, the traitor. It soon left them all staying silent as the shuttle finally lands within the hangar and their were let waiting for the ramp to start lowering for them to greet their awaiting welcome party.

Soon enough the ramp slowly opened, none of the El's would mention that the shuffle had clearly been purposely covered in an lead trace paint to show them from taking a peek during the flight. It also left all the El's standing in their "hero" costumes as earth people might see them. In truth they were dressed in their formal family colours and outfits.

Kal still was the first to walk down the ramp, taking notice over the handful of heroes standing a few meters away from the end of the ramp to greet the. Wonder Women, Flash, Martian Manhunter and sadly Batman himself stood waiting for them.

Kal gave the pleasant greeting first before introducing himself and his family one by one as he waved them out of the shuttle. Leaving his son in Bizarro arms, keeping the most vulnerable two together and knowing the rest of him and his family would protect them from any forms of threats before them.

It wasn't long before Wonder Women soon greeted back, mentioning her comrades hero names and soon giving the welcoming speech. All El's patiently listening to the speech and listening to the basic rules given to them why they stayed on earth as guests. As well as letting the learn that they'd be moved to an safe house in.. Gotham during their stay on earth.

It seemed the heroes were concerned over other heroes secret identities being exposed due to the watchtower being a home for some heroes and it was also a safe place for some to remove their masks if wanted. All heroes were warned over their arrival and given certain times on each day on when the El family would be at the watchtower to hold peace meetings in one of the briefing rooms. Leaving other heroes to know when to keep their mask on if they didn't want their secret lives to be exposed or when to avoid the watchtower if they didn't trust the new guests.

Kal knew he failed in hiding his grimace over the location of the safe house and only grew more embarrassed when all but Batman seemed to send him both understanding and pitying looks in return.

And it only grew worse when the heroes escorted the whole family to the closest zeta tube to escort him to Gotham where the bats and birds would be given the role of babysitters to them all whenever they were back in Gotham.

Kon simply looked towards the closest window, clearly thinking if he'd be able to break through it or not. Planning to return home and merely accept their fate of being rejected on earth now instead of playing the long game.

Kal was wondering if he'd be able to break the window too but he thought over such a plan less obviously.

TimeSkip: To their arrival as the safe house in Gotham...

The El's all looked around the fancy penthouse in surprise and awe. It was huge and breath taking. None of them even cared over what building they stood at the top over or that they'd be mostly imprisoned to the floor whenever they're not at the watchtower or escorted around Gotham at night with their bat guard.

The easy roof access would help the whole family fly in and out of the penthouse when needed without gaining attention to them or the building itself. It was such a good location and Kal wasn't overly shocked to hear that apparently the Wayne enterprise had funded the Justice League for years and gave up the penthouse to the Bat family for their private use if ever needed.

The biggest surprise that left them all stun was when they all finally wobbled back to the main living space to find all the bats and birds already standing there, waiting for them. All the El's had known they haven't been there when they had arrived, had they?

Either way, it left them all jumping in fright when they found the vigilantes just standing in waiting for them all. Without any of them hearing or even sensing strangers had entered their borrowed home. None knew how they had snuck up on them when they were meant to more powerful and hold better senses.

It left the a little spooked.

"Hello! Welcome to Gotham, let's all get along like old friends so I wouldn't have to break any bones, yeah?" One of the bat's spoke up with an charming smile that left them all a little weak at the knees. his masked eyes intimating even as they couldn't be seen.

"I swear he just threatened us but I feel so bashful over charming smile that I don't even feel as terrified as I should. Heck, I might even give him a bat to break my bones as if I've accepted I'd probably deserved it" Kon whispered back a little shaken up, tugging on his oldest brother's ar why they stared towards the hero dressed in tight black spandex and a blue bird growing across his chest and finger stripes down his arms.

"Is it me or do Batgirl look a little.. young?" Zor worriedly asked as she dumbly stared towards an blonde batgirl, a bit panicked over her looking between Kon and Connor's age when she had assumed batgirl was her own age roughly by the rumours age.

"Why are they all so scary but so hot?" Connor questioned back, openly staring at the whole family with drool running down his chin.

"You're still dealing with hormones" Kal simple replied, not wanting to admit that the family was rather good looking and all held their own charms. Well, the legally aged one at least. Kal was rather concerned for the one teen that looked to be the same age as his youngest brother, he was clearly too young to run into war.

"He's not wrong though. I just expected a few more to be aged up. I don't think I've got a chance with batgirl anymore" Zor muttered back with an confused frown. A little defeated as she accepted she held no chance with batgirl anymore.

"Like you'd ever have one to start with-OW!" Connor started to say with an smug grin before groaning in back as he was punched in the arm without warning by his oldest cousin.

"Hitting good. Do hit family" Bizarro scolded towards his big cousin with an upset frown, holding Jon tightly to  his chest to hide him from the violence happening between family members.

"Sorry, Biz. Didn't mean to upset you but the brat deserved it. You're right, hitting family is bad. I'll try to not do it again" Zor apologized towards Biz with an guilty smile, not wanting to have upset the big guy.

"I give it until he opens his mouth again" Kon sighed with an shrug.

And yeah, the El's didn't give the best first impression towards the Bat Clan, something that the bats and birds of Gotham would forever hold against them. As well as never let them live it down either.

But the next day went a little better for them all. Mostly once night hit and the super family was called to the rooftop. Better introductions were going to be made between them all. As well as the El family being given their bat guards for however long they stay.

Connor was given the teenager named as Red Robin and an older women known as Batwomen.

Bizarro was given an young adult man named Red Hood, Kal was very worried over why an hero needed guns just to learn he was apparently an anti-hero. Meaning he was allowed to shoot people. Even if that answer started an silent argument between Red Hood and Batman.

Zor was given the two late teens girls Batgirl and Orphan. Both opening an com and letting Zor finally hear the voice over the first Batgirl who now sat as Oracle.

Kon took one look towards Batman and refused before the man took a single step towards him. Leaving Kon to soon be given towards another hero, Batwing who had been called in to take over guarding Kon.

Leaving Batman free to patrol Gotham solo and another hero, Signal to patrol Gotham during the day solo.

Kal was left standing in stunned awe as he was given towards Nightwing. Well, Nightwing was in charge over both him and Jon but Kal was left smiling like an fool to be left to Nightwing hands. Ignoring the knowing looks sent to him by his adult family members and the complains sent by the younger members over the match up being unfair.

"I'm Kal and this is Jon, my son" Kal shyly smiled as he looked to the hero he was very fond over, happily nodding towards the son he held against his side.

"Nightwing" Nightwing greeted back with an friendly smile.

"Oh. I'm Superman then" Kal awkwardly corrected himself, assuming they were meant to use their hero nicknames.

"It's nice to meet you. Is it true you can fly into space?" Nightwing grinned back, bouncing on the toes of his feet as he stared up at the taller alien.

"I can fly as high as I want" Kal admitted honestly, happy to answer any questions his favourite hero had.

"Suck's I've had my spacesuit confiscated" Nightwing bitterly mutters under his breath, pouting a little as he knew he couldn't gain a free fly around the planet.

"He's single" Zor called out without any shame.

"VERY single" Kon confessed with an serious nod.

"So is he" Red Hood shot back with an shrug, nodding towards his fellow bat-bird.

"Hood" Batman growled back.

"That alien is practically wonder boy's soulmate. Let him have a go with him while he can" Red Hood scoffed back as he crossed his arms over his chest, knowing his brother deserved this chance with the alien.

 "Nighty!" Jon squealed towards Nightwing.

"Hello, little spaceman. Seems you might be a fan of mine, it's a pleasure to meet you" Nightwing smiled sweetly towards Jon, giving an finger-ly wave and beaming when Jon gleefully laughs as he reaches to catch his hands in his tiny chubby ones.

"Black hair. Blue eyes. Smiles as bright as the sun. We better stop B from taking this one home next" All the bat siblings thought to themselves as they stared towards Jon, and knowing he could be easily mistaken as a blood relation like the rest of them commonly were.

Batman felt an shiver go down his back, subtlety and with caution glancing around for anyone clearly having a bad thought over him. Not knowing it was his whole family sharing a thought.

A/N: This is the first part. No real ship moments happening just yet. I'd like to do another part, an main part with the ship involved.

I wanted to upload all parts together once they were finished. But I've had this chapter written up as a draft for a few months now. So, I've decided to upload this part and hopefully finish this story off once I've got more time for it.

If you're all interesting in another part, it'd be a big help if you leave a few positive comments for me to read. Thanks.
