Christmas Special - ConDick.

Run Down: Please Read.
The Wayne's are NOT vigilantes.
But Wayne enterprise still fund the Justice League and have a department that helps create new gear or technology for the heroes of the Justice League. As well as make uniforms/costumes needed by the heroes.
Due to Wayne's Enterprise supporting the Justice League that places the Wayne family in danger of any criminals or villains that may harm he family to get at the heroes or leave them without resources. With a few close calls and kidnappings happening in the early days, the Wayne have their own code to use on a zeta tube to reach the Watchtower during an attack or energy.
Bruce Wayne also has a meeting with certain members of the Justice League once a week to go over the bank statement that's connected to the Justice League funds and talk over their spending habits and keeping to an agreed budget.
Bruce would normally bring his first son along, Dick, due to being a single father and Alfred not being able to babysit for every meeting. Meaning Dick grew around the original Justice League members and watching the number of heroes expand in the passing years.
Bruce would bring the rest of his children as he slowly gains them, bringing them all to at least two meetings within their lifespan so they could at least meet their favourite heroes. As well as gain a tour around the watchtower. Most League members were happy to give a tour to the family that was paying their bills.
Dick came up with the Night-Claus idea. Having heard Superman tell stories over his home planet and learning over Nightwing.
He decided to half bring one of the heroes to light and stand as a hero at only Christmas.
In the Park Row district, a small Christmas wonder land was opened up in an old shop. It was free for all children and adults to reach and have a visit with Santa and his helpers. The whole Wayne family dresses up and lets children, teens or adults who had missed out on such childhood memories come sit on Santa's lap and take a photo. All leaving with a present at the end and a reusable string bag filled with a few needed supplies in winter. (Food. Bottled waters. Winter gloves, hat and scarf. A chocolate bar or sweeties as a winter treat. A small amount of cash and a sticky note full of shelters around Gotham for all ages)
Dick wanted everyone to have the chance of making a magical Christmas memory and feel some seasonal spirt.
And Bruce had agreed with the eleven year old and helped to set up the Night-Claus shop. It was open almost everyday in December. It was only opened between 4:30pm and 7pm on weekdays and from 10am to 7pm on Saturdays. With Sunday being open 12pm-4pm on a Sunday. The Wayne's still had their own lives to live outside of the shop after all.
It stayed as a family run business. Bruce being Santa and Dick being an elf while Alfred would even wear a suit designed to look like an Christmas tree as he welcomed their guests by the shop's entrance. Jason became another elf with Dick. Cass growing into an elf that wore a skirt and tights instead of the shorts or trousers. Steph popping up and dressing as an elf who wore a dress with tights. Dick becoming an reindeer once he got older and Jason grew to be a snowman. Leaving Tim as an elf and their youngest, Damian, dressed in a mini Santa in green compared to Bruce wearing red as Santa.

Kon felt like this was a terrible idea.
He knew his brother was trying to be a good brother and a better big brother than he was to Kon in their early days. He also knew he was trying to give Bizarro some happy memories and magical experiences.
But visiting Gotham to take the family to visit Night-Claus was not going to end well.
Gotham was meant to be a meta free place and it's still filled with the highest crime rates known. It wasn't safe and only people from Gotham could survive Gotham. Clark told him that much from merely doing business trips here for his reporter job.
Kon always knew it was terrible for them to be here when half of their group is recognizable. He never wore during his try at playing a hero before retiring in his fourth year. He's a teacher, a mentor now and he's happy behind he scenes.
But Connor never wears a mask either and he's plastered his face all over social media and newspapers before Clark told him a seven year old can't be heroes and benched him until he turns sixteen.
Bizarro stands out like a sore thumb and scared some city when he first broke out. Clark and Zara just need to remove their glasses and everyone would suddenly notice them too.
Jon was the only none hero in the family right now and he was just one years old. He won't even remember meeting a fake Santa today.
"This is a terrible idea" Kon sighed as he stared at the "Night-Claus's Nest" sign that was hanged above the winter wonderland's shop entrance. Knowing that this was the last chance for them all to turn back and give up.
"I think it's a splendid Idea. It's a good super family day out too" Clark cheerfully replied with a dazzling smile, Jon strapped in his push chair.
"Jon wouldn't even notice if he was meeting Santa or a random homeless person. Zara is too old to sit on Santa's lap-" Kon started to list his reasons for a family visit to Santa was unneeded this year before being suddenly cut off.
"I'd prefer to sit on Mrs Claus lap. And this visit isn't about me. My adopted family took me to see Santa a couple times to "catch up on last memories" too. But we're not here for me. We're here for those who hasn't had the chance to meet Santa. So, bite your tongue and let them have some Christmas magic" Kara cut in with a smile, her voice serious as she glanced to her cousin and understanding his concerns. But needing him to remember that it wasn't about either of them but the two new clones added to their family in the past year.
"We used Jon as the excuse to go pay Santa a visit. Connor thinks he's some cool biker from the 60s and not some seven year old kid. He'd never willingly visit Santa unless he thinks its for everyone around him and just joining in on the fun. Everyone assumes Biz is a monster just by how he looks. He'll miss out on so many memories because we won't be able to take him out on day trips without someone calling the police or a hero on him and ruin the day for him. Please, Kon, just feel some Christmas spirt for their shakes. They deserve some innocent and jolly memories with Santa" Clark calmly explained as he rolled Jon's push chair back and forward, keeping his gurgling one year old happy for now. His eyes sticking to Connor and Bizarro who were already crossing the road, wanting to look into the shop's window and see their small display left lit up. As well as read the signs on either end that explains the Night-Claus play once entering.
"Fine. But if the family's secret is exposed, don't blame me. We should have came dressed as our hero selves" Kon huffed back as he started to cross, the road was pretty much quiet and barely had any cars driving past.
"Hero selves? You wore the same outfit during your hero days and had no civilian act. You're more likely to be recognized than Biz is in Gotham" Zara snorted back as she pointed out her younger cousin's hero lifestyle.
"Clark I'm going to punch our cousin" Kon grumbled back, glaring towards Zara who happily skipped past him. Almost daring him to try something out in public.
"No fighting. I can't afford to pay any property damage and Mr Wayne had already lectured me over my damage costs when fighting Lex last week. I need to not make any dent in the budget for the next three months or we're going to have to start paying money to Mr Wayne's Justice League fund" Clark replies sternly as he bumped the push chair up into the curb, shivering at the face Mr Wayne had looked at him when he showed all the marked red areas within the bank statement that was due to his own collateral damage.
"I love how he's an alien and a symbol of peace on earth but he's terrified over a rich guy" Kara grinned as she turned to look at Kon who nodded in agreement.
"You haven't experience his glare. Or his disapproval. When you face that and still feel like making fun of me, go ahead. Until you face his wrath, no teasing" Clark whispered yelled back towards his cousin, not having her tease him over someone who was so scary. She was lucky she's never been in a meeting with him.
"I'm using your fear against Mr Wayne for the next couple months after you forced us into wearing Christmas jumpers. We look like one of those close and clingy families shown in Christmas films. No one wears their Christmas jumpers out in public at once unless they're heading to an event" Kon merely warned as he glanced towards the family, noticing them quicker by their Christmas jumpers alone. No one else was dressed in casual clothes and mere Christmas jumpers as a jacket. Everyone around them was dressed for actual Gotham winter.
Kon wouldn't complain as much as he was if he was just taking Jon and Connor to see Santa. He'd happily take Biz alone if asked. He just didn't think it was a great idea to head out as a whole family while wearing bright, cheeky or cute Christmas jumpers together. It was nice that they all got to chose their own Christmas jumpers, Clark announcing that this Christmas would be a Christmas jumper at Ma's house on the 25th. But Kon would have delayed in buying one if he knew he'd be forced to be one of those families that dressed up to the season togehter when going on an outing.
It was embarrassing and made them stand out even more.
He didn't like being in the spotlight or under a handful of peoples stares either.
At least Connor could zip up his leather jacket over his Christmas jumper and hide the fact he was with the family. And Kon wasn't even going to question how they found a Christmas jumper in Biz's size. He knew Jon's and Clarks were wearing knitted jumpers by Ma. Zara had gone out buying one with her girlfriend, Bab's who she still hasn't introduced to the whole family after three years of dating.
Kon just wanted to have this Night-Claus visit over and done with already. He wanted to head to the zeta tube, watch the rest of his family head to their different homes before heading to his own farm house far from anyone else to bother him.
And why he did like his Christmas jumper, he'd prefer to happily wear it around his family and friends. To wear it to keep warm at home and not be judged over his R2D2 Christmas jumper. He was a star wars fan, so what? Sure, he was a clone of an alien and a mastermind criminal but he liked star wars.
Soon enough they were entering and they were being greeted by someone called Alfred, wearing his suit that had a pattern of a Christmas tree, neatly and correctly. The man welcomed them and reminded them over following the pathway along and to please wait in line until it's their own turn.
Tapping his finger to a map of the shop's layout and tapping his finger on where a disable toilet shared by all costumes sat in the halfway point for those that would need a toilet break. Telling them to speak with a member of staff if they're in need of the toilet before the half way point or afterwards and they'd be shown without losing their place. Unless they're next, than the people after would be allowed to see Santa while they're gone before they'd be put at the front of the line in their return.
Clark thanked the man and pulled out his wallet as he noticed the handful of donation boxes on the end of the tinsel decorated table. Putting some lose change in each of the pots to try and cover as many of them as once. Taking Jon out of his push chair so the one year old could drop coins in the donation box. Kara pulled her own purse out, passing some money to both Connor and Bizarro to put in the remaining donations boxes.
"Is there a box to treat the Wayne's? I hear they run a lot of charities in Gotham. Can I slip some change over to them to buy a chocolate bar for themselves or something. Like when someone offers to buy a drink to a delivery worker or a mover?" Kon asked Alfred, feeling a bit awkward over his questions while the rest of his family were distracted with the other donation boxes.
Kon could tell that barely any donated anything towards the donation boxes left out. It made sense due to the Night-Claus nest being promised to be free for any and all visits. Everyone gaining a free and decent present at the end. As well as those goodie bags of supplies for those living rough, homeless or just need a helping hand for a couple of days before payday.
Not many in this part of town would have the change to spare, not even lose pennies. He used his xray vision and noticed a few lose pennies left dropped inside but not a single dollar until his family mixed out lose change and a couple of coins.
"I'm afraid we don't hold a treat donation for the Wayne's, sir. They help the city due to wanting to help from the goodness of their heart and not expecting an award for it. I am most certain that you're thanks in thought is enough for them all" Alfred answered kindly, a faint smile pulled at his lips over the young man before him. Not one had ever asked if there was any a way to treat or spoil the Wayne's in return for their goodwill.
Kon just awkwardly nodded before heading after his family who had moved to join the line. Jon's push chair folded up and passed over to an snowman named Jason who carried it over to an area behind the welcome table. A few other pushchairs folded or parked there as well. Being kept out of the way until the owners came to collect them.
The marked out path through the shop was big enough for a wheelchair user to use and for those who wished to keep their children in the pushchairs or had young babies in their prams. But those willing to go around without their own, there was a safe area for them to be kept as they wondered through the winter wonderland.
Soon enough they left the entrance area and started their magical travel. The whole route had been turned into Santa's home in the north pole. Showing the elf's workspace and small displays over a Christmas north pole town.
Some displays played music or held realties sound tracks to them. Northern lights lit up the ceilings and the ground held snowflakes patterns. Bubbles attached to the walls would blow out safe fake snow within themselves. Lights lighting up the fake falling snow within it's bubble and leaving the falling snow shadows to fill the area all around them.
Kon soon found himself carrying Jon, as always during a family day out due to his nephew being a bit too young to fully experience anything. Watching from the back as Clark kept close to Connor who was left in complete delight over the experience. Zara sticking with Bizarro to make sure he didn't accidently break anything in his excitement and awe over all the views they were walking past.
Kon taking in the views and sights as he passed them. Admiring them by himself while keeping Jon distracted by the pretty lights and fake snow whenever they passed a bubble. Lifting the toddler up to try and catch a lightshow of snowflakes that were meant to be falling. Knowing the boy wouldn't be able to catch them but the toddler would gleefully squeal as he did grabby hands at them.
They met more of Santa's helpers along the way. A women dressed as if she was Mrs Claus and named Barbara. Kon clearly noticed that Zara was suddenly hiding behind Bizzarro and kept ducking in front or behind the rest of them to keep from being spotted by her.
Mrs Clause was casually asking questions to those passing, clearly getting an idea over what type of present they might prefer most. Seeming to be talking into a mic clicked to her belt after gaining a rough idea over what the person would lean towards out of their handful of different sections of gifts and gaining their name to link them to such a gift.
They soon met a nutcracker named Luke who smiled and waved at them all. Passing over some paper decorations being made at a small table he was meant to be guarding. Gaining all their names and doing some fancy hand writing as he wrote them onto the decoration. As well as a number hidden in a corner.
Kon also took notice over the nutcracker wearing a radio ear piece in his right ear and seemed to have known names and dotted down numbers before the next lot of group reaches him. Just needing to learn their names in person to pass over the decoration that they all got for free.
Bizzarro had gotten given a cute paper angel that held a cone shaped bottom. Giving him the chance to either put her on a tree or sit her down on something flat to stand by herself. Connor had gotten an reindeer that's stood by it's four limbs. Clark was given a star that was made with shiny paper leaving it to spark under the lights. Zara was given an a paper bracelet with a horse cut out near the top. Jon was given a paper nutcracker that stood by it's feet being folded and lastly Kon had accepted the paper bird, a robin, that held a pit of sting looped through both wings to look as if it's flying when hang up on something.
They found someone dressed as the grinch hovering outside the disable bathroom. She was called Kate and apart from Alfred, seemed one of the oldest here. She waved them on and promised they were almost at Santa.
Seemed the grinch was mostly making sure that no one tried skipping the line or hogged the disable toilet since it was the only toilet for ALL costumers. As much as Night-Claus Nest wanted to help those in need of help, they can't just have people hide or lock themselves up inside for shelter. It wasn't safe with all the displays around, easy to trip and hurt themselves in pitch darkness.
Kon spoke with Kate for a bit since they were stuck in the line once more. And he could only stare at the wall or his feet for so long. More so with Jon gurgling and trying to pronounce new words towards the grinch dressed women. His nephew was always overly friendly.
They got moving again and soon were waved into a back room that held a ramp leading to the floor above. An elf dressed in trousers called Timothy, an seven year old boy and an elf wearing a dress, an twelve year old girl named Stephanie both greeted the Kent's.
Smiling and chattering away to them all as they walked them to where Santa, dressed in red sat on his gold and white chair. A joyful smile as he welcomed them all by name. Another elf dressed in a skirt and tights stood behind a camera that was set up directly opposite to where Santa's chair. The thirteen year old was named Cass by her name tag and had silently waved at them all in greeting from her place by the camera.
Kon winced as Bizarro made a b line towards Santa, lost in his own innocent excited and amazement over the whole winter wonderland and getting to meet Santa. Clark tensed as Bizarror sat himself straight down on Santa's lap without asking or any warning.
Zara was left gaping like a fish while Connor had closed his eyes, prepared for the family to be thrown out for squashing Santa to death. Even Jon had started to grow watery eyes, prepared for someone to get hurt.
But Kon was left staring in shock as Santa merely chuckled and asked Bizarror what he was after for Christmas this yet. Showing no signs of distress over having a meta clone currently breaking all his bones in his leg.
And than the adults of the Kent's took notice over Santa's outfit. It was well made and clearly held some extra material's to help it last when dealing with an meta. A type of metal was currently saving Santa from losing his lower body.
After Bizarro, Connor had a go at sitting on Santa's lap. Apparently he was merely showing Jon that it was safe and how to do it. No one questioned the clear excuse being used. And instead watched as Connor talked to Santa as if they're old friends and looking like a normal happy seven year old.
"Jon's turn" Clark smiled as he turned towards his middle brother, nodding for him to put his son down.
"Just don't pee on Santa" Kon whispered to his nephew as he placed him down.
All of them watched as Job wobbled towards Santa, smiling bright and doing grabby hands towards Santa. Santa soon reached down and plopped Jon on his knee before speaking to the boy as if they really could have a full conversation.
"Picture time!" Stephine happily called out, having watch Cass sign towards them to mention their ten minutes were coming up.
"Do you want a family photo or just those seen by Santa?" Timothy asked as he stared up towards Clark, looking way too professional for a seven year old.
"Family photo, please" Clark answered with a friendly smile, ignoring the fact that child labour laws might be broken happening here.
Timothy just nodded before hurrying over to Santa and signed something towards Cassandra afterwards to let her know it'd be a full family photo.
Stephine soon hurried over to Santa side before calling them all over. Telling them to all gather around Santa's chair while Jon's gets to stay on his lap. Bizarro and Connor got to sit on either side of Santa by sitting on the arms of the chair. The rest of the family having heart attack, fearing the arms of the chair would break under the clones weight but they didn't even groan under the weight or crack.
Clark kneeled down between the arm and Santa's right leg while Kara did the same by his left leg. Kon walking round the chair and stopping at the back before leaning against the back. His arms crossed lazily over the back and his upper chest was seen as well as his face.
Timothy and Stephine sitting on either side of Clark and Clara. Leaving the family photo to show all of their family while having Santa and his elf's too.
Soon enough all of them where calling out their favourite reindeer name and smiling at the camera. Cass taking the photo, smiling at them all before giving two thumbs up once she was done.
She soon noted down the photo number on a sticky note and walked over and passed it over to Kon who was holding one of Jon's hands as the toddler wobbled over the fake snow covering the floor.
Clark and Kara with their hands full of trying to get Bizarro to leave poor Santa alone and stop hugging the poor guy since they needed to head up the slope to the floor above. Kara having to drag Connor away from flirting with Timothy, both two young to even think over dating. But Connor still thought he was a big shot, cool biker that was a teenager and not a seven year old. Poor Timothy looked both nervous and fed up.
Kon accepted the sticky note, slipping it into his pocket for now before letting Jon walk on his own as they headed towards the slope behind the others. Kara mostly carrying Connor up the slope and the boy finally giving up on trying to catch Timothy out of embarrassment of being carried like a baby. Clark and Bizarro already upstairs and looking at whatever was up there.
"Kon.." Santa called out as Kon reached the slope with Jon.
"Yeah?" Kon awkwardly asked, wondering what Santa would want with him.
"I hear the reindeer is the best hugger here. And Monday's are the best day for a toddler to visit Santa" Santa quietly passed on his advise to the other man, his elf's all reacting differently. Timothy was gaping at Santa as if he was a complete stranger, Stephine was in shock and Cass was silently giggling.
"Ko!" Jon giggled, yanking on their joint hands as he wanted to hurry and gain a hug.
Kon just gave a slow nod towards Santa before taking his nephew up the slope and not really sure what just happened. Distracting himself with a cheerful and hyper toddler in his care instead.
He took in his surroundings and notice that the room was turned to look like a stable. All nine reindeers names neatly written in gold and silver all around different areas of the roof. Huge teddy's of the reindeers sat under their names and letting anyone give them a big hug or pet.
The door they'd have to leave the room through looked like the entrance of the stable, arched and the doors actual being stable doors. A wooden feed through filled along one wall beside where the slope came up. The feed through separated in different sections and each section had different Christmas wrapping paper used for the presents in them.
It seemed part of the wall had been knocked down and a booth section was tucked by the stable doors. A small photo printing booth was made with the counter being low enough that even children could reach it. A work bench was tucked inside for the worker to deal with the photos and get them ready before passing them over on the counter.
"How many copies do you want, Clark?" Richard, Dick, asked with a friendly smile as he stood as an reindeer. Hovering by the counter of the photo booth but yet to step inside to start printing anything until he knew how many copies were needed. Being more comfortable around the Kent's as he's met Clark as his reporter self in the past plenty of times.
"How many are allowed?" Clark nervously asked as he knew they were a large group and wanted them all to at least have a copy but knew he wouldn't push his luck.
"As many as you want. We also do different types. Though if you order a larger number, you'll have to collect them by the snowman at the exit or you're welcome to wait in here" Dick happily answered as he nodded towards a poster on the wall beside the counter archway that explained the rules. Proving there was no limit but large orders may leave people having to wait by the entrance for the snowman to pass over to give them time to finish the order. Or the person could return the next night and collect them instead as long as they pass over the same name they used that day.
"What different types do you do?" Kara asked curious.
"We do the basic medium photo that we'd put in our winter pattern frame. We do snowflakes tree decorations that will hold the photo inside. We've got wallet size photos that we'll place in a protective sleeve to keep it safe for a couple of years from wear. We've got a small pen holder and a snow globe. We've got keyrings and we've got magnets. You can have as many as you want and in any type too" Dick answered pleasantly as he nodded towards a shelf left high above the low counter that held one of the ways they've printed the photos to let them all see in person how they'd look once done. All of them filled with photos over the Wayne's in costumes during the years of Night-Claus's, showing just how many children and friend's to the family joined the Wayne's as the years passed.
"I no want snow globe" Bizarro announced as he stared up at the snow globe that held an Nightwing wearing a Santa hat and flying with a sack of presents near the top and a Flamebird by a Christmas tree at the bottom of the globe. Blue and Red robin's flying around the stand of the glass globe.
"What do you guys fancy having?" Clark asked as he turned back to the rest, knowing he'd need to get his wife and his ma something too. It's rare to have all the sups together for a family photo.
"I'll have a tree decoration, please" Kara spoke up with a pleased smile, knowing she'd be using that decoration during winter and all year round. She'll hang it up on a picture frame hook for her to see all year round.
"The picture frame isn't looking terrible" Kon admitted as he glanced towards the booth but mostly sticking with Jon who was excitedly wondering around the Reindeer stables room.
"We have three designs for the frames. Pick one you like" Dick replied with a bright smile, nodding towards the three different photo frames on the shelf, all having different photos of the Wayne's over the years.
"What do you want Connor?" Clark asked as he looked towards his youngest brother and hoping he'd want a keep shake too.
"I'll take a keyring. Been needing a keyring for my bicycle key you've given me" Connor shyly answers, glancing to the side embarrassed. (It's normally to give children the key for their bike locks even at a young age to help them feel responsible for their bike's safety as well as teaching them to responsible as they grow up instead of just expecting them to be more mature when they hit teens)
"Are you sure he's seven and not a teenage?" Kara whispered towards her younger cousin, nodding towards Connor.
"I'll one a fridge magnet for myself. A pencil holder for Lois to use at work, she's needed a new one. I'll take the Christmas tree frame photo for Ma and the the elf frame photo for Jon to have and to admire as he grows older. Kon will be left stuck with the Nightwing and Flamebird Christmas style photo frame. A keyring for Connor and a snowglobe for Biz. A snowflake decoration for Kara. Oh! And one wallet photo, I'll put that in the album later. Please" Clark ordered up, doing a mental check list over everyone who would need a copy and in what style. Making sure that his own son would have a keep shake he could grow older and admire it later with.
"Sure. It's take five to ten minutes to complete. You can either wait in here or explore the rest of the floor and I'll pass your order to the snowman to give you" Dick smiled back, giving a heads up that it was going to take some time due to the large order at once. Offering them to wait or carry on through the winter wonderland and just wait by the entrance instead.
"We'll wait. Jon's found little Santa" Kon replied as he stood holding his nephew in his arms now, a little worked over the two year old dressed as an green Santa was going to attack his nephew.
"Damian, do you want to help hand out presents?" Dick asked with a sweet smile, having stepped over the counter and into the printing booth to order the prints all all the sizes needed.
"Tsk" Damian tutted back from where he was sat in his own Christmas styled chair in the corner of where the presents sat in the feed through. Tucked out of the way but still apart of the event.
"-ugggs" Jon demanded with a bright and mostly gummy smile as he finally took notice over the Reindeer.
"Santa also promised you gave the best hugs" Kon admitted, his cheeks burning as he made such an confession out loud and wanting to explain why Jon had suddenly brighten up by the noticing the reindeer dressed man.
"I do" Dick smugly confesses, not ashamed over his gift in life of giving the best hugs.
"Jon wants one" Kon shyly mumbled back as he looks down at his nephew who was staring at Dick with pure sparkles in his eyes, awaiting his promised hug.
"Just Jon?" Clark asked with an evil smirk, his eyes knowing as he's known over his little brother having a crush on a certain Wayne son.
"He'll have to show Jon how hugs work with a reindeer" Kara casually replied with a shit eating grin pulled at her lips, having known over her cousin's crush for far longer than Clark did.
"Shut up" Kon merely hissed at them, sending a glare in their direction as his super hearing picked up their unneeded comments.
Dick gave a perky wave towards Jon before just slipping the photos into their frames as they were printed first. Wrapping them in Christmas patterned tissue paper, only using a single sheet to wrap each one up. Slipping them into a paper bag that held "Night-Claus Nest" in bold letters and had the different costumes used by the Wayne's and friend's patterned over the bag as well. As well as grabbing the wallet sized photo and slipping it into a plastic protected cover and wrapping it in smaller Christmas tissue paper and dropping it into the paper bag too.
He slipped the magnet and keyring photos in before sliding them into a machine that'd press them togehter and seal them up tight. Soon enough he was slipping the photos for the snowflake, snow globe and pen holder into another machine that'd slip them in their correct item and seal it into place for him.
Finally Dick stepped back over the counter and headed towards Kon. A skip in his step that made the reindeer antlers headband bells ring. Jon squealing as Dick grew closer and soon Kon was squatting down to put his nephew down.
Dick soon kneeled down and let Jon come to him before scooping him into a big and warm hug. Jon melting in his hold and giving a sappy smile over the affection. Dick smiling down at Jon even when the toddler had moved to clinging to him and not wanting the hug to end.
Kon and Clark quickly moving forward to try and detach the boy from the reindeer as they couldn't Dick busy for ever. They've already heard Stephine cheer over photos for the next group below.
Once Dick was free he soon walked over to where the presents were and scooped up a grumpy looking Santa. Damian sending the stink eye to all of them and Kara finally understood why her cousin was so scared for the boy's father.
"Dami, want to pass me the present with Santa on it, please?" Dick asked with a motherly smile towards the boy, walking over to the section that held presents with Santa pattern wrapping paper.
"Hump" Damian answered with a firm nod and leaned down to pick one up. Soon passing it over to Dick rather proud over completing the task.
"Thank you. This is for Connor" Dick thanked his baby brother before charmingly smiling towards Connor, holding out the present towards him.
"T-Thanks" Connor stuttered back, surprised he'd be given a present but happily accepting it.
"And a present with snowflakes on it, please" Dick asked nicely to Damian, taking a step back to have his brother directly in front of the section with the wanted presents.
"Tsk" Damian tutted back but still leaned down from where Dick held him to pick up the present with snowflakes pattern that they stopped in front off.
"Thank you. This is for Biz" Dick thanked his brother once more before charmingly smiling towards Bizarro as he held out his present towards him.
"No big gratitude" Bizarror replied with a delighted smile as he stared down at his given present.
"One with the snowmen next" Dick perked up as he moved towards another end of the feed through to where the section needed was. Taking note that he'd have to fill this section up, well radio one of his siblings to bring the presents out from the storage room to help him fill this section up again.
"Urr" Damian huffed as he stretched out, this section of presents being a bit low and mostly having Dick dangling Damian down to grab a present.
Pulling Damian back up and making sure he was secured before glancing between his brother and Jon. Deciding his brother could be a bit more sociable and knew this was the perfect chance.
"Thank you. Want to give Jon his present? It'd be your good deed for the week" Dick asked quietly to his baby brother, turning his back to the group for the boy to shy up and refuse if he wasn't ready yet.
"Tsk" Damian tutted back before giving a firm nod, determined to show he stood better than the other toddler who had toughed his baba without his permission and clung to him earlier.
Dick placed his baby brother down, present still tightly hid in the toddlers hand before he watched the green Santa walk over to Jon. Passing over the present a bit more roughly than needed.
"Thank you, Damian" Clark smiled from where he was kneeled around his own son, lightly hugging him to keep a hold of him and stop him from racing back over to Dick.
"Any allergies for you adults?" Dick asks as he hovers by a section of more basic Christmas paper that mostly held a few "Merry Christmas's" written across it or Christmas greetings written over it.
"None" Kara answered for both her and Clark, watching as Dick headed to the section by the railings that sat along the slopes top sides.
"Here you both go. Everyone leaves with a present. Sadly adults are stuck with more basic presents that are eatable. But we buy many different brands so it's always a surprise over what one you'd get when opening the present. But we have a free-from pile of presents for those that need it as well" Dick ginned back as he walked over, holding one present out towards Kara who accepted it before holding the other out towards Clark.
"That's very kind" Clark praised as he accepted the second present, Jon held in his other arm and lost in awe over staring down at his given present tightly hugged to his chest.
"We like to give everyone a magical time. Gain them a happy memory. Not everyone got a chance to visit Santa when they're young. You're never too old to gain such an experience" Dick casually replied with a kind smile, not seeing it as anything special as he just wanted everyone to experience a magical memory with Santa.
"Do you get to have a present at the end of the holidays? You're whole family do a lot for this city and other cities. It's only fair that you get spoiled too" Kon spoke up as he looked to Dick, knowing how many people the man has helped and all he and his family for for others. He wanted the other to know he was seen, that he was thankful and to spoil him in return.
"No one likes giving the rich anything. And if we did accept anything, everyone would assume that we've done what we've done for an award or for the press to make us look like heroes without a cape" Dick explained with a sad smile, glancing down as he felt Damian's chubby little hand hold part of his trouser leg.
Before Kon could argue against that a timer went off and Dick soon clapped his hands and smiled like an idiot once more. Kneeling down and asking Damian to return to guarding the presents for him before he hurried back to the photo booth.
Grabbing the last lot of finished photo items and placing them in the bag and putting the bag on the counter. Nodding for them all to collect as the next group had finally came up the slope and entered the stables of Reindeers.
"It was lovely to have met you all and see some of you again" Dick smiled softly as he stepped over the counter, giving a subtle hint that they had to move on now.
"I look forward to seeing you at the Wayne's Christmas gala next week" Clark mumbled back with a friendly smile.
"I've picked out a new suit just for it. The whole family is making a better effect this year" Dick grinned back, an excited shine to his eyes as he looked forward to the gala. Why most may have the tradition of Christmas jumpers, the Wayne's have decided they'd have the tradition of Christmas suits this gala.
Soon enough the others were leaving. Connor opening his present to find an Superman action figure inside. Bizarror opening his present and finding a colouring book with a thin pencil case full of a handful of colouring pencils. Jon excitedly opened his present while being carried and found himself with a dog teddy. Kara opening her present to find a family pack of biscuits that she knew she won't be sharing. Clark had already used his xray vision to check his present out and see the fancy chocolates inside.
Kon was about to leave the room completely, carrying the paper bag full of their photos items. Being stopped when someone lightly tapped his arm. Turning and finding Dick shyly smiling at him with a present held out.
"Everyone deserves a present or a miracle at Christmas. And everyone gains at least a present here, couldn't forget you, Kon" Dick whispered with a gentle smile, nodding for Kon to take the offered present.
Kon took notice over the wrapping paper seeming to not match any other paper used in the sections. The present was also wrapped less neatly compared to the others. A present truly from Dick who knew the Kent's would have came for a visit to Santa for Biz and Connors shake at some point.
"Thank you" Kon quietly thank the man before feeling himself blush when he aims a sun blinding smile towards him.
Kon shuffles away, flustered and glances down at the present. He unwraps it, dunking the paper in a bin in the last room. Clearly placed inside for wrapping paper over those who open their present as soon as they get them.
Smiling down at the knitted black jumper with an red superman's symbol across the chest with a green and white Santa hat sitting on the top of the symbol. Apart from being long sleeved and the Christmas touches, it perfectly matched to the old super polo tops he use to wear all the time as a teen.
Kon knew coming would expose his family.
Dick was one of his first friend's when he was rescued from the labs. He might have dated Megan while he was still learning to understand his thoughts, feelings and free will. But he'd fallen in love with Dick pretty fast since. Having dumped Megan as soon as he learnt she was using her powers on him, messing with mind and making those feelings that start to bloom be hidden from himself.
Dick had seen him at his worse and watched as hew grew to be his best. Found his own happiness among the world.
Simply not wearing an super symbol wasn't going to stop him from recognizing him.
For now, Kon was left with a faint and warm smile pulled at his lips.
His new jumper folded and held in his hand, plans to wear it after tonight already made in his head.
As well as wearing it when it was time to return to visiting Santa on a Monday, coming as the retired Superboy than Kon Kent.
Monday..
Kon purposely overlooked the knowing glint in Alfred's eyes when he arrived at Night-Claus Nest by himself. Wearing the personalized gift from Dick and clearly here as his hero self than a civilians.
Ignoring the amused smile from Barbara as he passed her. Rolling his eyes towards both Kate and Duke who wished him luck. Sighing as the three elf's giggled and laughed as he entered the room to meet with Santa.
Sat on the chair today was a man dressed as Nightwing in a blue and black Santa suit. Sitting as the real Night-Claus who the shop was grown from all those years ago. A mini Santa suit in the style of Flamebird was placed on Damian who sat in his own mini chair beside Dick, having abonnement issues and never far from Dick it seems.
Taking notice over Jason and reindeer dressed Bruce half slipping down the slope to take a peek after hearing the chatter over the radios.
Dick took it all with pride and his chin held high. Tapping his lap and calling out for Kon to take a seat, not thrown by his arrival at all.
Kon rolling his eyes and feeling his face heat up as he walks across the fake snow and sits on the man's lap. Being a bit big but the two of them somehow making it work.
"And what can I get for you this Christmas, Kon?" Night-Claus asked with a bright and charming smile, giving his full attention to the grown man in his lap.
"A date with Dick Grayson" Kon answered whole heartedly honest, knowing it was a risk but knowing he's saved the universe more than once and survived. Asking for a date shouldn't be so scary, even if it was.
"And so would the rest of Gotham-OW!" Jason started to sass from where he and Bruce was still spying before being smacked across the back of his head by Bruce over ruining the moment.
Night-Claus sat there for a moment in thought, seeming to think over if he'd be able to make such a Christmas come true or not. Grinning as he finally turned his gaze back on the clone on his lap and soon slipping out an gala invitation.
Not one for press but as Dick Grayson-Wayne's plus one.
Kon stared down at the invitation stunned, not expecting to gain a response so fast or so smoothly.
"Your suit should be arriving tomorrow. It's a family tradition this Christmas" Dick whispers as he breaks his character, sending a wink to Kon who just gave a numb nod.
And as the Wayne's Christmas eve gala comes around, by the 27h the world was drowning in Wayne's latest bit of fun. All the Wayne's wore suits that were patterned and styled to be link to their Night-Claus Nest outfits.
Jason having snowmen patterned all over his suit. Tim wearing a suit that were fitted to look like an elf's fancy outfit. Cass and Steph wearing dresses styled like a royal elf. Kate being seen in a short dress with Grinch's face all over and her heels Grinch styled too. Bruce wearing an expensive red and white suit that was clearly done with Santa in mind. Damian in a matching suit to his father but in green. Alfred seen with Christmas tree patterned gloves on as he worked that night.
But the big attraction was Dick dressed in a suit clearly inspired by Night-Claus and his date, Kon Kent, dressed in a suit styled for Mrs Flame-Claus.
Their first date might have been made public but it was the best date either have ever experienced and would gladly brag over the story in many years to come.
