Third Person's POV

Central City: May 5th: 13:22 EST

In the hallway of Keystone high school as a group of kids finished school meanwhile two particular teens were walking out of the school together.

"Finally summer vacation! Nothing feels greater than that!" Says a ginger hair male with freckles and green eyes.

"You can say that, though we will not be seeing each other until the next school year" a long black haired teenage boy responds agreeing with the ginger.

"That's also true which sucks" the ginger said "well, I'll text you when I finally get a girlfriend" he joked.

That made the ravenette teenage boy cringed but forced a smile "Yeah...you do that, Wally" he said to the ginger named Wally.

The ginger male gives the ravenette teen a side hug "well gotta, run see you next school year" he said before walking off.

"Y-Yeah...see you..." he looks down feeling the lost chance due to the cowardly of admitting his feeling for his friend.

-scene change-

"Still, you didn't tell him" A brunette girl with tan skin said while looking at the ravenette male laying his face on a bed.

"Why is it so hard telling someone like Wally how I feel about him, Jess?" He said

The girl shrugs "I can't really say what you was supposed to tell him, since you're the one who's in love with him"

The black hair teenage boy glares at the brunette "I'm serious Jessica Cruz"

The girl named Jessica turns to the male "Mera! Only my mom calls me that" she scolds as the black hair male looks down making the female sigh "Hey, you have the whole summer vacation to think about what you should say to Wally, that way you get to tell him how you feel without panicking" she said.

The boy turns looking up at the ceiling "maybe..." he mutters.

-scene changed-

Now alone in his bedroom after visiting his cousin the Raven hair boy writes something on his black notebook.

"Message in a bottle is all I can do standing here hoping it gets to you" he says to himself and he closes his notebook and sighs sadly.

Then suddenly a pink light flash behind the male he looks back surprised as he sees a pink light that seems like a Portal as a lantern and a ring fly out the portal and they then landed on the boy's night table.

"A ring?" the boy he questions as the ring slides through his finger. 

"You have great love in your heart. Welcome to the Star Sapphires." he hears a voice coming from the ring

the boy tilts his head "Star Sapphire?" he repeated the voice last words as he lights up and notices his clothes changing into a skintight white and violet body suit with a black neck collar and a white mouth cover

The boy looks at himself with shock and awe "Woah, Violet's not really my color, but I can work with this" he said to himself while looking at himself in the mirror.

The boy then begins to notice that he's floating which startles the boy before hitting his back on the ceiling and falls harshly back on the ground.

"Ow..." the boy groans in pain.

"Mijo, you're okay in there?" the boy hears his Hispanic mother calling him

The boy gets up "Si Mamá, I just tripped on my backpack, sorry for the noise" he apologizes.

"That's okay, mijito, I'm just curious, but there's one question that has been bothering me" the mother said as the now Star Sapphire be puts his backpack away and looks at himself not knowing how to change his clothes back.

"And that's?" he asked.

"When are you going to introduce us to this Wally boy?" The boy stops when he hears his mother asking about him. 

"A-Ah... Is a bad time to ask because he'll be having a family vacation this summer, so I won't be seeing him until the first day of school as sophomore year students" the boy explains.

"I see... but promise you'll be inviting him over, mijito" he hears his mother telling him

"I can't promise anything, but I can try" he responds.

"Okay, mijo I'll leave you be, and don't stay up too late" his mom said.

"I won't" the boy replies as he hears steps fading "Okay time to try these Star Sapphire powers" he said before opening the window as he get outlined by pink light and the ring glows along with him as he flies out the window and he flies up in the skies of Central City he looks down in awe watching the nighttime view of his hometown "Wow this is awesome!" he said to himself before hearing what sounds like a alarm he sees a bank being robbed.

The robbers are entering a big van, and they drove off with high-speed; seeing this leave a bad taste in the ravenette boy's mouth and begins to fly after the van. The Driver notices the Star Sapphire.

"We have company" one of the robbers looks over and sees Star Sapphire and tries to shoot him.

Star Sapphire gasped and covered himself only to be surrounded by a force field created from the boy's Star Sapphire ring and pointed his fist forwards as a big hand stops the van and lifts it from the. Star Sapphire then shakes the forcing the thieves to fall out of the van and landed on a other pink glowing hand and they held them close before the police arrived which little does he know he was watched by a certain pair of lanterns from a far distance.

As Star Sapphire watches the officers leaving the scene he sighs and attempts to leave "Leaving so soon?" Star Sapphire startles hearing a voice from behind him he turns and see two tall men with black and green uniforms only one of them's wearing a mask.

Star Sapphire raises his hands "I-I'm not here to cause trouble, I only stopped the problem from going further" he excuses himself.

The masked man waves the boy off "is alright, we both saw it ourselves" he assures.

The other man looks at his ring before looking at his colleague "he does not have the delirium from the transformation" he informs the other man.

"So kid, how long you've been a Star Sapphire?" the masked man then asked the boy

"Exactly fifteen minutes ago" the younger male responds.

'he just got that ring and he seemed to know what he's doing' the tanner skinned man thought out of shock and impressed.

"Say, kid, it seems you're still new to be a Lantern since is what you truly are, how about we take you under our wing" the masked man asks.

"M-Me?" Star Sapphire questions out of shock.

"yeah, I know someone who was once a Star Sapphire too and she can feel you in on what you need about the powers" the man explains.

"You sure is a good idea, Hal?" the man asked.

"Yeah, he said it himself, John; he hasn't been a Star Sapphire for a day and he isn't suffering delirium, like Carol" he said.

The man named John sigh and nods "Okay, I'm backing you up on this, but is still his choice" he agrees.

The two Lanterns sees the boy bowing to the two "I'll be taking up on that offer" he said.

The two men sweat dropped "the bowing is unnecessary, just call us Hal and John to prevent confusions" Hal then said to the boy.

the teen blushes out of embarrassment "r-right sorry" he apologized.

Washington DC: June 15th; 14:15 EST.

At a random roof top you can see four men and four teenage boys in their hero uniform.

The first teenager has light blond hair cut at the bottom, deep brown skin, pale green eyes, high cheekbones, and a lean build. He possesses black, eel-like tattoos that run across his back and along his arms and glow a bright blue when using his powers. He also has webbed hands and feet and possesses a set of gills that allow him to breathe underwater.

"My King, excuse my impatience but why are we exactly here?" He asked.

Next to the teenager is a tall, muscular Caucasian male with short blond hair, a blond beard, and aqua blue eyes. As Aquaman, he wears an orange scale-mail tunic and dark green leggings. At his waist is a gold belt that is clasped with a stylized letter "A", which has a built-in communicator. He also wears golden gauntlets on his wrists, and dark green greaves.

"Trust me when I say that I wish I had the answer of that question myself, Kaldur'ahm" the man who the teen who's name is Kaldur'ahm adressed as King responds.

They both then hear a echoed laughter and landed a shorter teenage boy with a Man wearing all black.

The teen was fairly short for his age and had a lean, well-toned build, reflecting his ability as an acrobat and skill in martial arts and gymnastics. His black hair was left unkempt, hanging over his forehead. His original Robin uniform was comprised of a red vest held closed by three yellow rectangular fasteners on the front, black leggings, boots and gloves, all of which seemed to be made of a sort of protective body armor that still allowed him great mobility. On the left side of his chest he had a yellow stylized "R" symbol in a black circle, and around his waist he wore a yellow utility belt with pouches for his various equipment. He wore a cape over his shoulders that was black on the outside and pale yellow on the inside. To protect his identity, he wears black stylized domino mask at all times. While sporting the mask, his eyes appeared completely white.

Meanwhile the man behind him is a tall Caucasian male with a dark and imposing figure, short black hair, and dark brown eyes. He wears a dark gray costume with the symbol of a bat spread over the chest, black trunks, gloves with fins on the outer side, boots and a black cape with a unique pattern at the end. He also wears a black cowl designed with bat ears at all times to hide his identity. He also wears a yellow utility belt to complete his Batsuit.

"So are we going to know about what are we here?" The shorter boy asked.

The man in black shakes his head "Hal Jordan said that he wanted to introduce us to someone"

"Hoping is not a girl just to show off" the boy crosses his arms while the two Atlanteans sweat drop at the two.

Then they hear sounds of a arrow and sees two figures zip-lining down to where they are.

The first is a young man with has auburn hair with blue eyes. He is tall in stature, around the same height as Kaldur'ahm. Due to his rigorous training with mentor known as Green Arrow, he has become very muscular, most noticeably on his upper body. Because of his rather serious personality, it is uncommon for him to ever smile, instead a frown or a deadpan look being his standard facial expression. He donned a yellow sixteenth century-style hat complete with feather, yellow gloves, boots, belt, and a red suit.

"Hey, Speedy!" The shorter boy greeted the red archer who simply nodded at the Boy codename Robin.

Meanwhile with him stands a taller man with blond hair, blue eyes, a blond mustache and beard. Since his codename is Green Arrow, his clothes seem to mostly be green. He wears a dark green shirt with a hood underneath a long light green vest with three dark green oval-shaped fasteners, black pants and green boots. He carries a quiver along his back that is filled with arrows and has a black strap that goes along his chest. He also has long green gloves, a black mask, and a green belt with a gold "G".

"Are we the last ones?" Green Arrow questions

"No, only missing are the speedsters" Robin responds.

"Again!?" They all hear a complaining voice as they all see a man and a teenager wearing matching red and yellow uniform.

One of them happens to be Wally West in is Kid Flash uniform was yellow with red pants, red gloves, and yellow shoes, with a symbol of a red lightning bolt within a white circle on his chest.

Flash has short blond hair and green eyes. His superhero costume is a full-body suit that is all red but has two small yellow lightning bolts across the waist and wrists. Like Kid Flash, he also has the yellow lightning bolt logo on his chest and boots.

"Where's Hal?" The Flash asked Batman.

"He should be here" that's the only response the Dark knight could give.

"I'm here!" They hear a shout as Hal lands facing his comrades and their sidekicks.

"Listen I know we're in a tight schedule right now, but I just thought that maybe I could introduce you to my own protégé" he said.

"You have your own sidekick?" Flash questions not sure wetter he should believe or not while Green Arrow looks at the Green Lantern with the same expression.

"I have one I'm serious!" He yelled annoyingly.

"Alright let's meet the poor soul you kidnapped" Green Arrow joked making Flash chuckled while Aquaman facepalms and Batman shakes his head.

"Yo, Star!" He yelled and in the sky, they see a silhouette outlined by pink light flying towards them.

Revealing to be the boy standing before them "I'm Star Sapphire, it's a pleasure to finally meet you guys" he introduces himself.

Everyone looks dumbfounded before Flash and Green Arrow run to the male Star Sapphire "blink if you're okay" they both said only for Star Sapphire blink once before tilting his head to the side looking confused.

"I'd never seen a male Star Sapphire before" Robin said before looking at Hal "aren't Star Sapphires mostly women?" He questioned.

"Yes, but this one right here has a strong love that attracted the ring's power, making him the first male Star Sapphire" Hal explains

"Oh really?" Wally aka Kid Flash questions before walking up to the Violet Lantern "Nice to meet you, I'm Kid Flash" he introduces himself.

"I didn't know you swing that way" Robin teasingly said to the younger speedster.

"Normally I don't but I can make exceptions" Kid Flash responds.

The boy looks at Kid Flash telling the familiarity as if he knew this person before as realization hits him and takes a steps back out of shock.

"Wally?" he asked.

Wally smiled dropped when he hears Star Sapphire calling him by his real name "how you-" he takes a closer look at Star Sapphire before his eyes widen finally recognizing the male before him "No way... Hayden!?" he asked out of disbelief.

Robin looks confused "You know him?" he asked.

"He's my best friend from school" he answers before looking back at Star Sapphire "You're a Star Sapphire?" he asked.

The boy named Hayden nods "I am and lately, I've been training to master these Power, so I managed to master the basics of them" he explains while constructing a clone a Kid Flash standing next the original "I'm still managing to make it move" he said as Kid Flash construct waves at Wally before vanishing. 

"He's a fast learner" Hal points out.

"I know that" Wally then said before pulling Hayden close to him "looks like we'll be seeing each other more often" he tells his school friend.

Hayden looks down hiding his blush "y-yeah" he shyly responds.

Robin and Kaldur'ahm look at each other and had a idea before looking back at the lantern and speedster duo
