Y/n's pov

I'm really starting to grow attached to my new family, and according to frisk, Christmas was coming up. I was told that everyone gets each other gifts on Christmas, so I am currently out shopping. I currently have the DVD set of an anime called my hero academia and a bunch of chicken ramen for alphys, a new scarf and a pasta cook book for papyrus, and one of my favorite books called wonder and a knitting kit for toriel. As I walked down the aisle, I noticed a friendship bracelet loom kit and decided to get that for frisk. I then continued to wander around the store in search for everyone's gifts. I eventually came across a bunch of teas. Asgore immediately popped into my head, asgore does like tea. I put some teas in the cart for asgore and then went over my presents. Books and knitting kit for toriel, teas for asgore, cookbook and scarf for papyrus, loom kit for frisk, undyne...... what should I get for undyne? Well, I know undyne can have a short fuse sometimes, so maybe she can use something to vent with, something non violent. A-hah! I can get her her own personal diary! It's perfect. After searching the departments, I found a cute teal, black, and red striped diary that had a lock and key and everything. Alright, now sans....... well, sans is a skeleton with a sense of humor, and an addiction to ketchup. Maybe some funny t-shirts will also help with his laundry problem. I know five below and got topic have some funny t-shirts, so I'll got there after I pay for everything. The total ended up being around $40, but I didn't mind. I save my money for this reason, and the fact that I want a laptop. I've never told anyone though, maybe I should. Anyway, I end up finding quite a few funny shirts. One of them said "in my defense I was left unsupervised", another one said "That's a horrible idea. What time?". The last one said "last clean t-shirt" on it, and they were all mostly white too. I bought those and I think I spent around $60 all together. I flew back to the house and covered the gifts with my wings. I then found the wrapping paper and tape and headed out the door and flew off. I landed in an empty, snowy park. I used my wings to get all the snow off the picnic table and started wrapping my gifts, writing the proper names on the gifts afterword. Once I was done, I put all of the gifts in a shopping bag and flew back to the house. Once I landed and got inside, I realized that everyone was there, sans notices my enterance and says "hey y/n". I wave and say "hi" back to him and walk over to the tree and start placing my gifts under it. Sans notices and says "looks like you've been busy huh", I nod and say "when frisk told me about the giving presents part of Christmas, I wanted to get everyone the perfect gift". Everyone turned toward me and gave me sweet or warm smiles. I smiled back and then toriel said "oh I almost forgot to ask you, what would you like for Christmas y/n?", I started to sweat a little in nervousness. I then asked "is there a specific price limit like nothing over $100 or something?", toriel shook her head no. I took a deep breath and shakily asked "I would like a l-laptop" closing my eyes tightly and bracing for any impact to come. But it never came. I opened my eyes a little bit and everyone was looking at me with confused and concerned faces. "What's wrong y/n?", asked sans. I shifted uncomfortably in place and said "the last time I asked for anything like that I was smacked and yelled at for it". Frisk then throws herself onto me, knocking me to the floor. I feel a warm liquid come from frisks face, frisk is crying. It breaks my heart to see her cry, so I rub her back gently and say "frisk it's ok, I'm here with you guys now". Frisk then says "no, no it's not ok. You're too kind and sweet to be treated this way. You never deserved to be mistreated". My expression changes to a dull one, flashbacks of my mom flood my mind. I see her death repeat over and over. All because I distracted the driver. I said "yes I do", frisk yelled "no you don't!". I snapped and yelled "yes I do! I am responsible for my mom dying in a car crash! I distracted her while she was driving, therefore it is my fault she couldn't react in time to swerve away from the truck! I'm also the reason my own brother died! I miss him every freaking day! Yet I had to drag him outside to play tag during hunting season! Sure I didn't know it was hunting season, but still. I'm still the reason they're dead". Frisk let go of me and now everyone was looking at me, shock written on all of their faces. I realized that I had just yelled at frisk, the ambassador of monsters. I realized that I made a big mistake. I burst out the door and flew to the roof, hearing my name being called as I ran out. I landed on the roof and sat down trying to collect myself, taking deep breaths. Once I calmed down, I decided to watch the snow from the roof top. I quickly saw sans and papyrus walk outside and start looking around, calling my name. I was baffled, why would they still want me here after I yelled at their ambassador? I couldn't hide from them forever, so I flew down and got their attention by summoning small parts of shields. Soon enough, sans and papyrus were running toward me. Once they got to me, they both hugged me. Sans then said "don't run off like that again", I could feel how worried they were in my soul. I said "sorry, I just........ I yelled at your ambassador, I made you all worry about me. I didn't mean to, I'm sorry". Papyrus said "IT'S OK Y/N, NOW LETS GET BACK INSIDE. THE HUMAN FRISK WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO YOU", letting go of the hug and walking back to the house. Sans and I followed close behind as the door was opened and everyone was there. There was an uncomfortable silence, but once frisk saw me, their face lit up. Frisk then got up and approached me, she then hugged me and said "I'm sorry for yelling at you". I hugged back and said "I forgive you".

I got a job as a lifeguard at my local YMCA, and school and marching band are starting up. So those factors limit my time a lot. Also, I got addicted to Steven universe.
