Y/n's pov

After around 15 minuets of hiding, I start to hear voices. Coming toward me, calling my name. I then see sans' slippers walk by. I reposition myself to get a better look, but by doing that, I made enough noise to get his attention. I heard sans' voice call "y/n?", I poked my head out and said "my dad isn't here is he?". Sans jumped a little, startled by me popping out at him. Sans said "no your dad is trapped and under the watch of undyne right now", I then came out of the bush I was hiding in and stood next to sans. Sans began to lead me out of the woods, before stopping and firing a blaster into the sky. I asked sans "what was that for?", sans replied "it's to let the others know I found you". I began to feel guilty for making them look for me, so I said "sorry". Sans looked at me confused and asked "why are ya sorry kid?", I said "I made you all worry about me and look for me". Sans then said "y/n you did what you had to, to get away from your dad. You don't have to be sorry for that". Part of me wanted to say sorry again, but I don't think sans wanted to me say it. I just kept quiet as sans lead me out of the "woods", my wings folded tightly against my back. When we got to the clearing, I was surprised to see cops taking my dad away as undyne cursed the day my dad was born and walked back over to us. Undyne asked me "you ok punk?", I just nodded, still trying to process everything that just happened. I was finally free, I don't have to worry about my dad anymore. Oh how I wish b/n was here to see this, sans then asked "who's b/n?". My eyes widened in realization that I said that out loud, I then answered "b/n was my brother, we were near inseparable back then". Sans asked "what happened?", I knew I would cry if I said it, so I just made a gun symbol with my hand, pointed it at the sky, and said "bang". Sans seemed to get the message, and pat my wings in understanding. Frisk came over and pulled on my arm, as if attempting to drag me back to the bakery. I slowly walked with frisk, the others eventually following behind me. On the way there, sans leaned toward me and whispered "you have a lot of explaining to do later". I hummed, and we arrived in the bakery. The spider monster with purple string like wings asked "are you alright deary~?", I shyly nodded and stepped behind sans, who was the closest monster who was taller than me. Sans is around 5'8" while I'm around 5'4", so sans is around 4 inches taller than me. Sans said "come on kid, muffet isn't gonna hurt ya. She was just asking if you were ok, so why are you hiding?", I kinda froze for a second when sans said that. Monsters are so much nicer than humans, so I shouldn't be scared of muffet. I slowly got out from behind sans and quietly said "I'm fine, thanks", muffet then nodded and asked "what pastry do you want deary~". I looked around the display and asked "can I have a chocolate glazed doughnut please?(my favorite kind of doughnut)", muffet nodded and got the doughnut from the display, put it in a bag, and gave it to me. I said "thanks muffet", and sat down at a table. Sans paid and followed me to the table, sitting next to me and watching me eat. The others eventually showed up, got their own doughnuts before sitting down near us. I noticed that sans didn't have a doughnut like everyone else, so I broke off a piece of mine and gave it to him. Sans declined it at first, but I wanted him to have it. Eventually, sans gave in and took the doughnut piece. I watched at sans took a bite out of the doughnut piece, he hummed in approval and finished the doughnut piece. He didn't say anything after, but I could tell he enjoyed it. I happily finished my doughnut, and stared out the window. After everyone finished chatting, we went home. I'm so glad that I have these awesome monster friends, I just wish I knew them a bit better. Apparently papyrus read my mind because he asked if we wanted to have everyone over for a sleep over. I said yes, sans shrugged, not having a preference on the subject. Papyrus also wanted to have a sleep over, so he started calling everyone. I sat down on the couch next to sans, and we were silent for a solid 30 seconds before sans asked "hey y/n? What's your favorite animal?". I answered "f/a (favorite animal), why do you ask?", sans said "oh I was just curious". I had a feeling that it was more than that, but I just brushed it off for now. Sans then got up and stretched before saying "Welp, I'm gonna go to my room for a few minuets", and teleported away. I just sat there, confused as to what just happened. I eventually pulled out my phone and listened to my music for a little bit, since there was nothing else for me to do at the time. As the music played, I made tiny shapes like circles, triangles, and stars by summoning parts shields or just small shields, and moving them to the beat it the music. It's a fun pass time, and it's good training too. I then felt something tap my shoulder, I paused the music and made my little shield shapes disappear before turning around. I turned to see undyne waving at me, alphys, toriel, frisk, asriel, and mettaton right next to her. I waved and said "hi guys", there was a cluster of "hi's", and "hello's" in response. Alphys looked around and asked "w-where's sans?", I said "he told me he went to his room after asking me what my favorite animal was and teleported". Alphys nodded, humming a little before going quiet. After that, the situation turned awkward in a matter of seconds. I asked "so uhhhh.... now what?", undyne passionately yelled "truth or dare!". Everyone else nodded in agreement, and I just shrugged, having never played truth or dare before. Undyne said "let's get started then", I raised my hand a little and said "quick question, how do you play truth or dare?".
