"This is my side! Stay on your side!"

"You can't own a frick'n side of the couch!"

"Oh yes I can! Zane, if I buy half of a couch, does that mean I own one side of it?"

"I am not participating in this debate." Zane said firmly as he gathered his things, slipping his hand through the right arm of his jacket.

  "You didn't even buy this couch!" Isla snapped. "And hands off my blanket!"

  Cole strolled in, he didn't look surprised at the scene of the two bickering and pulling at the fuzzy blanket on the couch. "I would say they were arguing like a married couple but really they're arguing like five-year-olds." He mused, grabbing his keys.

  "Date night?" Lloyd asked as he came into the room.

  "Yup, that's why we're heading to the movies. Want to join?" Cole invited him.

  "Yes please! Last time I stayed in on date night I had to listen to them fight over super heroes for eight hours." Lloyd bounded out the door after Zane.

  Kai scowled at his girlfriend, yanking at the corner of the blanket. "If I can't own a side of the couch, why do you get to own a blanket?"

  "Because you don't need one, stupid." Isla retorted. "Also we all know I'm far superior than you, therefore I get a blanket."

  "Have fun, you two." Cole called sarcastically as he closed the door behind him.

  Isla gave the fleece one final tug and it pulled free from the Fire ninja's grasp, much to his protest.

  Kai glared at her but reached for the remote. "Fine, but then I get to choose the movie! And I'm choosing a horror movie!"

  "Shut up, we both know you're choosing a hallmark movie."
