"Moony," Sirius grumbled as he flopped down on top of his lanky boyfriend, Remus. "I want to cuddle."

"Hey," James poked his head out of the bathroom door. "I want to cuddle, too."

"I like cuddling!" Peter supplied in a hopeful tone.

"I just want to read," Remus groaned. He held up a copy of Sense and Sensibility and waved it around.

"You can read that while we form a cuddle pile," Sirius crawled behind Remus and sat the lanky werewolf in his lap. Sirius wrapped his arms around his boyfriend's thin waist and rested his head on Remus' shoulder.

"Ugh, fine," Remus relented, mainly because Sirius' arms felt really good around his waist, but that was besides the point.

"Yay!" James squealed - a very manly squeal, mind you, but a squeal nonetheless. Peter made a noise of agreement and they both dove onto the bed.

James sat on the left side of Sirius and wrapped his right arm around Sirius. He dropped his head onto Sirius' shoulder and snuggled deeper into the two warm bodies next to him.

Peter sat on the right side of Sirius and wrapped his left arm around Sirius' torso. Peter leant his head on Sirius' shoulder and snuggled deeper into the warm embrace of his best friends.

Remus cleared his threat and began reading from the top of page, knowing that the other three Marauders wouldn't care if he was reading in German so there was no need for context in the book. The three Marauders were slowly lulled into a deep relaxation from Remus' soothing voice and Remus was so caught up in the book that they didn't notice the door to the dormitory open.

Lily smiled at the four boys cuddling on the bed and the curly haired werewolf who was reading to them. These were her best friends, she thought, and she wanted to spend the rest of her life cherishing every moment she had with them.

She cleared her throat slightly, successfully getting the attention of the four Marauders. "Big cuddlers, are you guys?" She asked mischievously.

James' face was overtaken in a crimson blush and he stammered incoherently. Sirius and Remus just laughed at their friend's embarrassment as Peter smiled in amusement.

Lily just huffed out a laugh as she moved to sit on James lap. His still red face then had a slightly shy smile as he wrapped his free arm around his girlfriend's waist and buried his face into her hair. Lily then laid her head on Remus' shoulder.

Remus smiled and continued reading, his four best friends all crowded around him.

Yeah, he thought, life is nice sometimes.

Okay, wow, two in one day? I'm on a roll. And yes, I know this one is short, but I liked the idea of it and wanted to write it.
Again, I won't be at a place with Internet tomorrow {which is one of the reasons I'm doing two today} but I will be writing a lot of one shots tomorrow {we're going to be on the road for close to ten hours} so I'll publish a few on Christmas Day if I can find the time.
