It wasn't his fault that he just couldn't understand math! He was an actor! Not a mathematician.

That was his boyfriend, so when Logan found out that Roman was struggling he offered to give tutoring sessions to help with his grades, during that hour Roman saw Logan in his element teaching and explaining the most basic of things to him and all he could think of was that his eyes shined and that his gelled back hair still looked amazing and afterwards they'd just cuddle, on the terms that Roman completes all of the homework with all of it being correct.

He would need to ask questions multiple times and apologise since he'd get distracted but most of the time logan would smile kiss his boyfriend's forehead and tell him to pay more attention.

Which is why he is sitting right now at the kitchen table with logan next to him rambling on about their homework and even giving examples of how to format the working out and all Roman can focus on is logans eyes, god- why did he have to be so goddam gay!

"Roman? Roman, are you listening to what I'm saying?" Logan's voice cut through his gay rambling thoughts, where he instantly flushed with embarrassment, logan sighed already knowing what the answer was, "roman, I need you to pay attention more. I know you sometimes cannot help it but we get this done then you can, 'admire' your boyfriend afterwards"

Roman sighed covering his face, "I'm sorry logan and I know, this stuff should be easy and I'm forcing you to repeat basic math to me all because I can't focus on anything other than you, it's just- I barely see this type of excitement or how you talk and. Treat me during these makes me feel all fluffy and soft. I'm sorry Lo, I'll try and pay more attention" logan was silent and roman thought he said something wrong until he felt logan's fingers intertwine with his.

He looked at logan curiously a small affectionate smile that said more than a thousand words could ever describe, looked back at him, logan squeezed Romans hand softly, "it's ok, just try to focus on the paper and my voice, let's see if this works" he says calmly before going back to the tutoring session, roman did what he was told forgetting about the hand he held in his own which would snap himself out of his daydreaming thoughts every once in a while with a soft squeeze.

He didn't even notice when they had moved onto the questions as logan assisted him with the first few questions then watched as roman slowly got more confident with each one, logan watched with admiration as his boyfriend focused on his task writing out the problem and doing the correct working out on a spare piece of refil, it definitely would have been a hypocrite thing to say he had zoned out it a slight daze only to see a roman glance at him from time to time to check if the working out was correct to where he would let go of his thoughts for a minute and help with where he went wrong.

After the homework was done logan realised roman needed to let out some form of relaxation so he took to the challenge quickly "Roman since. you are done with the homework would you like to educate me in those musicals you like to sing so much? you have listened to me ramble about math for the past hour and 31 minutes" roman slowly processed what his nerdy boyfriend just asked of him and without warning roman's brown eyes shined like stars or if he were on a stage performing with lights in his eyes "Let us go my nerdy uneducated but also highly educated prince! you need to learn about the true beauty that is heathers!" he grabbed hold Logan's tie and pulled him to the lounge and proceeded to watch both the musical and the movie with Romans commentary explaining the turning points plot twists the entire time.

And all Logan could think is, how perfect he looked. Call him a simp all you want, but as long as Roman had that smile and that shine in his eyes thats all that matters.
