Bill x Will Human AU
For Sad-Corgi-Dumpling , I hope you enjoy!
Will's eyes snapped open, wide and surprised to find that he was in the Mystery Shack. The cool, dark silence held him unwittingly in it's hand, wrapping it's cold fingers around his small, now human, body. It had been only a week since he was pulled from his dimension, a reverse world where Mabel and Dipper Pines were cruel, and Gideon wasn't a little creep. He liked this new dimension better, where he had a bunch of friends.
Mabel had even made him a sweater in his favorite shade of light blue. She said it was the least they could do for him, because of the accident.
When he was pulled through the portal, his original body had become stuck, and in his desperation to escape, he reverted to a form that he knew well, which was that of a human's. This new form was actually quite nice, although he would never admit to it. Admitting that the infinite amount of years he had spent miserably as what Soos called "a Nacho man" were worse than being a near powerless human would be sacrilege. So he kept that bottled up, but had no qualms about professing his thoughts about "snuggling". This new form was perfect for that.
So when he woke up, haunted by the past, all he wanted to do was cuddle up with someone, even the bony teenager, Wendy. She wasn't good at snuggling, cause when he tried to give her a hug, she jabbed him in the face with her elbow. It made him cry, even though she apologized once she knew who the little person hugging her was.
Crawling over to Dipper's bed, Will poked the boy in the sides, only once. He didn't want to be mean and hurt his new friend. So Will sat back on his legs and stared at Dipper.
It really was a big difference between his home dimension and this one. He knew the Pines' twins so well there, and now it was like they were two completely different people. How could they even share the same name? Admittedly, Will liked Mabel better in this dimension, but he was still scared of her. The Mabel he knew was cruel and heartless, but seemed aloof on the outside, whereas this Mabel seemed pure. But he still went to Dipper when he was scared. Dipper wasn't his favorite to cuddle with because he smelled like onion pizza.
So Will poked Dipper again, a little more insistent this time, and then sat back to wait again. The young boy's eyes snapped open, catching the blue demon off guard, and grabbed Will's hand, whispering, that someone named Bill was coming. Will tried to move away, but Dipper's grip was unusually strong, pulling him closer and sloser to his wide, vacant eyes, the brown color still visible, until they turned a dark shade of grey.
"Well, well, weelllll....." A familiar voice crowed. "If Pine Tree didn't bring back a little friend. Y'know, I think giving both of you nightmares will be more fun..."
Dipper's eyes seemed to snap back to reality as he sat up and looked directly at a yellow triangle. Will followed his gaze.
It dawned on him that this must be his counterpart. His opposite.
This must be Bill.
And judging by Bill's expression, the yellow demon realized this too. His grin widened.
Will's face fell. He hated attention, so when Bill started to circle him, Will just stared at the floor, and tried to disappear.
"So, you're human now. And you look better than me." Bill smirked, brushing the pastel blue hair off of the other demon's eyepatch. The deep blue velvet was embossed with black embroidery in the shape of a downturned eye. "Nice eyepatch. You could have done better though. Like THIS!"
As Bill finished his last sentence, a bright light emanated from his triangle form, oscillating from large to small, and encompassing all that was around the space that Bill had once occupied. And out of the blinding white light came a pinprick of blue, until the world around Dipper and Will regained color, the dream world bleeding back into reality, the blast of light waking up Mabel.
As the light began to ebb, a hand shot out, grabbing Will's wrist.
"AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Will screamed, his pale face losing even more of it's color.
"O...One upped ya.... B..blue...." Bill panted, his one yellow eye raking over Will's body, a new form emerging from the light, swathed in golden fabric, and black dress pants. He suddenly stood up, only an inch taller than his counterpart, and found the energy to proclaim, "And my eyepatch is better."
The demon's new form looked identical to Will's, probably due to the fact that the last form he had seen was what he based his human form off of. It was true that Bill one-upped Will. The other demon's eye patch was gilded, a swath of golden fabric embossed with glossy black thread in the shape of an upturned eye. His body was slightly taller and leaner, and had healthy, golden yellow hair.
"OOOOOHHH..... Looks like someone needs a sweater!!!!!" Mabel yelled, hopping out of bed to greet the stranger. "Don't I know you from somewhere?"
"From your dreams kid. Wait.... How are we out of the Dreamscape?" Bill looked down at his body. "I... What happened?!"
The golden man widened his eyes and scowled, his high pitched voice turning into a growl, demanding to know why he couldn't use his powers.
Footsteps pounded up the stairs, and Grunckle Ford's voice was audible from the hallway. "Are you kids alright? Is everyone safe? There was a malfunction with the portal. A brief flash, but enough energy behind it to introduce or take something from our dimension. I'm...." The tall man busted into the room and immediately stopped when he saw the now human Bill. "What the hell?"
"Language Fordsy~" Bill drawled, taking a couple of shaky steps forward, until Ford's gun was pressed directly into his chest.
Will couldn't stop staring. His counter part was amazing. His hair was so beautiful, and his skin looked so soft, it hardly mattered that Bill's voice was terrifyingly loud as he yelled at Stanford for bringing him into this dimension as a helpless human. Dipper's response was good though. He said that if Bill hated humans so much, why did he turn into one. Will snickered into his fluffy sweater.
Instantly he knew what would make Bill feel better about being dragged into this new world.
So he pulled Mabel aside, and they got to work.
-------------------------------------------------------
A couple of days later, all Bill had been doing was sulking on the couch in front of the T.V.
But Will had been busy.
It was finally time to show Bill what an amazing dimension this was. So when Will plopped down on the couch, it was easy to tell that he was excited. Two lumpy present were dropped into the yellow ex-demon's lap.
Bill wordlessly opened the first one, and a golden yellow sweater almost identical to Will's fell out. And when the next package was opened, a can of Pitt cola spilled out.
"Welcome to being a human. There's one last thing." Will stared up at Bill as he pulled his new sweater on.
And the blue boy placed his head on Bill's shoulder. After a few minutes, a yellow arm snaked around the middle of a baby blue sweater.
Both of their eyes closed.
And in that moment, all was right with the world.
THAT WAS SO LONG! But it was also reaaallly fun to write. Let me know what you think, and if I should do a continuation.
