Sans turned around to see the plant behind him, looking at the timeline shifter.

"Whatcha doin', Flowey?" Sans asked, startled the flower.

"GAH! I just wanted to umm... See what's down here." Flowey began sweating. "Yeah..."

"Somethings not right. Flowey, do NOT touch the timeline shifter." Sans instructed.

Flowey picked up the device. It looked like a watch. Flowey put it on his stem. "FLOWEY STO-" Before Sans could say anymore they both disappeared into mist.

Sans and Flowey awoke in The Ruins. Next to them were Alphys, Undyne, Papyrus, Toriel, Frisk and Napstablook.

"F-Flowey what did you do?" Sans asked.

"IM SORRY I CHANGED US INTO ANOTHER TIMELINE!" Flowey panicked.

"Okay, guys don't panic. Flowey has the timeline shifter, right?" Sans looked on Flowey's leafy arms. They were missing the shifter.

"I DONT KNOW WHERE IT WENT." Flowey screamed.

"SHHH! Someone's approaching. Don't make contact. Don't meet yourself." Sans said. They hid behind a pillar.

Footsteps echoed in the ruins. A smile caught them off guard. They held a knife and they were swinging it around like it was a toy. It was Frisk, but not Frisk.

"Guys," Sans said. "Avoid making contact with them." The others nodded.

"W-who are they?" Alphys asked.

"That's Chara." Sans said, gritting his teeth.
