Chapter Four: The Smile Of A Murderer
A Froggit hopped infront of the one that Sans called 'Chara'. Chara smiled at this. She wielded her knife and stabbed the poor thing. The monsters watched in horror. Except Sans, who just got angry.
"Guys." Sans whispered. "This is the timeline I call Genocide. They kill everyone. I've seen them many times before."
"Sans, let's be real. Nobody can defeat me." Undyne said.
"OR THE GREAT PAPYRUS!" Papyrus beamed.
"How did the child find the knife?" Toriel asked.
"I dunno, Tori." Sans shrugged.
"Th-they don't kill me r-right?" Alphys asked nervously.
"W-what happens to us?" Napstablook shuddered at the thought.
"You guys stop freaking out! I bet we can get back to our timeline and stop Chara as well. Because after Chara conquers this timeline, they come to ours and Frisk will no longer be Frisk." Sans said.
The monsters kept on spying on the murderer as they killed several monsters. Toriel wasn't there. But if she was, Chara would smiled brighter as she killed them.
She made it to Toriel's house. Toriel gasped. "I cannot believe I would trust someone of that manner." Toriel said.
"Hey," Chara said hauntingly. "Which way out of the ruins?"
Toriel sat on her chair in silence for a bit. "Do not follow me, child." Toriel said as she went downstairs.
Chara followed the goat, with a big grin on their face, hair covering their threatening eyes.
"Child, do not go out there. It is dangerous." Toriel sighed.
Chara ran her knife through the poor lady.
"GAH!" Toriel fell to her knees. "Hehehe... Now I realise who I was protecting by keeping you here... Not you, but them." Toriel faded into white mist. Her soul appeared for a second before shattering into a million, white specks.
